Shocking company

Shocking company, Parked at Trostre retail park for 30 minutes and received a fine for parking more than 24 hours. On appeal they replied by saying While rare instances of missed entrances or exits can occur, we rely on the accuracy of our camera records. On this occasion, it appears that the vehicle’s exit may not have been captured by the system.

They resided the fine as a goodwill gesture, How and earth can it be a goodwill gesture when you have admitted litigation from your side? I also supplied door bell footage of my car in front of my property the time they claimed my vehicle was parked at Trostre

Anything to make a buck !!!!

Concentrate when entering your car reg - or you’ll be fined !

Be careful when using their car parks! Used their car park in Cambridge. We mistyped our reg when paying - so I understood why I received the parking fine 3 weeks later. However even though I had the receipt and bank statement to prove we did pay for parking, they still charged us an extra £20 for the mistake !!! Can’t believe the BPA support this type of behaviour!!

I forgot to pay for parking in Trostre shopping centre, phoned the company, spoke to lovely advisors, emailed afterwards, my problem was solved in no matter of time, fantastic people that's all what I can say! Had a great experience!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID - Carflow’s system at Parc Trostre is…

Carflow’s system at Parc Trostre is nothing short of discriminatory against disabled people and families. A 6-hour maximum stay might sound fine on paper, but in reality it punishes those who cannot rush — disabled visitors, parents with babies and toddlers, and anyone who needs to take their time.

We were genuine paying customers, shopping and eating on site, yet still hit with a charge. The signage is unclear, the machines don’t display how long you’ve paid for, and there’s no allowance for people with additional needs.

My disabled mother simply cannot move quickly, and expecting us to squeeze a full family day (shopping, meals, rest breaks) into 6 hours is outrageous. This is direct discrimination against disabled customers and makes Parc Trostre an unwelcoming place for families like mine.

Carflow may claim to follow “standards,” but their practices fail real people. Shameful.
We’ve now paid our fine (Case 3903102578). I hope you’re lining your pockets with the less-abled’s money — thanks for nothing, Carflow.

In this case you paid for 4 hours of parking, but stayed for 6 hours and 38 minutes.

There are 35 clearly visible signs around the car park, including signage near the parent and toddler bays, outlining the parking restrictions, including the maximum stay and payment requirements. These signs are designed to ensure that all visitors, including those with additional needs, are fully informed of the terms and conditions prior to parking.

As a private land operator, we have a responsibility to enforce these terms to maintain an orderly and fair system for all users. It is the motorist's responsibility to ensure they comply with the rules.

We reviewed your appeal carefully and, while we do empathise with your situation, we must stand by our decision to reject it.

We hope you understand that this decision is in line with our commitment to providing a clear and fair parking experience for all our visitors.

Parked where I and many others park at…

Parked where I and many others park at the rear of a business park, the parking rules for that area had changed overnight to Staff Parking only, didn't notice the signs. Parked there twice for 20 minutes and got 2 £100 fines. That's £200 for parking less than an hour.
Absolute rip off merchants.

Customer service for a query

I contacted an officer for a parking issue in one of their car parks with the information.
The officer dealt with my query promptly with courtesy and in a fair manner.
Hence Customer service that I received was excellent.

Automated and wrong

I just got a parking fine from these rodents for parking with my disabled son in Cambridge. The disabled badge was displayed but they use automatic number plate recognition. It is set up so they just fine disabled people anyway and then leave them to appeal in writing (no phone number for help). Anyone who works for this company has thrown their life away.

Later: they confimed that they indeed fine disabled persons and leave them to appeal in writing. They say the law allows them to ignore Blue Badges on private land. Really, really fabulous people and a tremendous addition to our society.

Thieves

Thieves. A poorly lit board which I therefore misread and paid the charge for what I thought was for "up to 3 hrs" on a Sunday. As it transpires, the fee I paid only covered an hour. Genuine mistake. It happens! If I was trying to scam...I would not have paid at all. Obviously my appeal was rejected due to the fact that on entering the car park, I "entered a contract" and I should have checked the ticket. Why would I check a ticket when I knew I was going to be under 3 hrs and I thought the charge was up to 3hrs. It's a carpark, not a mortgage for crying out loud. So, a few quid short has resulted in a £100 fine. I'm sure they will have a great Christmas party with all these rubbish fees for genuine mistakes. They are totally unsympathetic, lack empathy and can only fall back on their T's & C's as opposed to listening to genuine customer concerns and delivering a fair service.

ACTON OAKS - Do not use this carpark they will rip you off.
Unable to read notice due to poorly lit carpark and dirty notice board covered in grime. I was told it was 90 mins free by a local shopper. I paid for an extra 2 hours via RINGO just before my 90 mins was up but actually only stayed an extra hour. Got a PCN stating that I should have paid for the ‘free’ 90 mins plus the hour extra. How would I have known that as RINGO asks how long I want to stay it does not state that I need to pay for the FREE period plus the extra time!!!
This is just a blatant ploy to con people and needs to be stopped. How many people have been stung in this way it’s a disgrace. How CARFLOW allowed to get away with this!!!

Don’t use their car parks. First 90 minutes free, then after you pay for the entire stay including the first 90 minutes. What foolishness!! £100 down the drain. The signage is misleading. Instead of saying after 90mins you pay for the entire stay, it should say. After 90 mins the 90mins is chargeable. Plus they should have a signage notifying you what time you enter into the car park. Spent almost 15mins trying to find a disabled car park in Acton.

Paid for parking online as the app would t work. Got issued with a ticket. Appealed. They said they don’t take bank statements as proof of payment. An utter disgrace of a company. Held of paying the fine but was worried about incurring extra charges. Severely out of pocket. Not okay

We really need a minus star for this…

We really need a minus star for this company. I booked parking for my colleagues who were working in Manchester but the job they were working on over ran a day so I logged on to the parking app we use and extended the stay for the extra day. Carflow then sent us a PCN saying we had not paid for the extension. I had all the receipts so you would think this would easily be solved. I sent both receipts clearly showing the dates and times that we had paid for and our payment receipts but they would not accept that as evidence!! Asking what would they accept I was told that they would only accept evidence from Just Park, the app we booked through. I contacted them, who to be honest, were not much more help and just said if we pay the fine they will reimburse us!! I just cannot for the life of me understand how these businesses get away with this day after day, they go along on the basis that no one wants to have to go to court so people will just pay up. They should be struck off.
