Having slipped and broken my wrist I was at a lose as how to shower without getting my cast wet. I bought the whole arm cast but would probably have been better with the shorter version. It arrived the next day and is perfect. It makes a very secure seal around the top of the arm. I’m so confident to use the shower now

While my leg is in a cast, after breaking my fibula bone, one of the biggest issues is showering or washing oneself without getting the cast wet. After Googling I found Castprotectors and after checking the reviews and the very reasonable cost I ordered a full length adult leg cast. I was a little concerned when it first arrived as the neoprene seal did not appear to be particularly tight around my thigh however I have been using this everyday for over two weeks and am delighted with it. Even after a prolonged shower the leg / cast remains dry. Before removing it I towel down the outside of the protector then once removed I turn it inside out and hang it to air and remove any residual condensation.
Would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

Very fast delivery, my order arrived the day after I placed order. My granddaughter broke her elbow, she has a full arm cast, she is 6 yrs old, the protector fits perfectly, and is tight and secure both ends. We are very happy, no water has got it which is excellent. Easy to order and would defo recommend.

My best friend had a bad break on her wrist on the 28th Oct. That same night I ordered her a wrist cast protector telling her she will need it. I already had my own protectors from and operation on my foot and a broken wrist in 2021. (I wouldn't part with mine incase I need them! )
It arrived the next day for her and she was thrilled as she can look after herself.

Having used my protector for a week, I have found that some moisture does get inside, despite only showering, even though it fits my thigh and calf quite snugly. The other very noticeable thing is that it has gone horribly discoloured. There were a few yellowish marks when it arrived, but has got worse in use. I have to say though, it's still doing a fairly reasonable job, but I did expect it to be better than this. Hopefully, I will only need to continue using it for about another week.

Waste of money do not buy! Wrap cling film around it instead. I brought an adult leg cast protector for a child that didn’t have a cast on ( it was too project his burn bandage from getting wet) and it was a struggle to get in and off. And still his bandages got wet!!

The leg protector covers leg / ankle & avoids getting plaster cast damp. About 90% effective - some water seeped down leg to dampen the bottom of cast - but still very good and I would recommend to anyone who sustains a leg injury & wants to shower.
