Wonderful experience on the breakfast train .
Service and food excellent.
Train was perfect .
Lovely ride through pretty countryside

The service, station, food was all fine.
And I totally understand about waiting while they cleared the line due to a fallen tree.
Unfortunately due to season the delay made it dark so couldn't see the view which is one of the reasons I booked. Also on way up, they gave comments where we were ect. But we stopped on way back. No reason give. Sat there for 30mins wondering what was happening
Think if we were told it would have reduced the frustration. But made a disappointing end to the evening

It was a lovely organised family event.
The staff were friendly and informative.

All in all a lovely evening.
Very well looked after by friendly staff.
The train itself was lovely and comfortable. One sharp jolt from the train coupling up but I imagine not out the ordinary.
Lovely scenic views.
Food was lovely and filling. The only ‘disappointment’ was the dessert option. Ultimately I had a cold pear with some chocolate drizzled on top.

Every member of staff were so helpful due to me being dissabled I didn’t have to ask for help they just appeared and asked would I like help,also the pie and mash was excellent we will be going back for more trips

We went on the Bombay express the experience was amazing The staff was so helpful and the food was amazing and the atmosphere on the train is just so good. I recommend this to anyone and I’ll be coming back. It is such a great evening to go out. ryan.

Friendly staff.
Very reasonably priced tea room.
Our pie and mash for the train kept hot.
Clean toilets.
Great way to spend a Friday evening.

The Staff were lovely and it was a very enjoyable experience. My only complaint would be that we were delayed on the way back and it would have helped considerably if we had been told why. I understand that things go wrong and it is nobody's fault but it is a lot easier if one knows why.

We were on the Murder mystery experience! Fabulous evening on steam train! Food was delicious. Fabulous actors playing out the Murder! I would recommend highly.
Absolutely loved the train it made the evening a memorable experience for my daughters birthday.

well organised and had a fabulous night. Food was great and staff pleasant

Very professional very impressed with the way it all worked this food was good. The only problem was we left at 7:15 and didn’t get back till 9:25. The journey out was very good the journey back because it was dark possibly the wrong time of year but I think it needed to leave at six and not seven then it wouldn’t have been so dark when we got back other than that very impressed will use again

The whole experience was amazing. The actors the staff looking after us. The food was amazing. The steam train was lovely, felt like was back in 1963.

Very nice, polite helpful staff, plenty of car parking, nice station, cafe and toilets.
The train ride was though interesting scenery and at a good pace, the US engine chuffing away.
Trolley service and rubbish collection all add quality.
If you have not been, put it on the list and plan a great day out.

A great day out with my autistic son ( a train enthusiast ) and carer's. All staff helpful and welcoming, nice food in the cafe too.

We were made very welcome and greeted by a hostess with a smile which always helps . The afternoon tea was delicious especially the scones thank you for a lovely afternoon .
