Never sent me the watch, citywatches tried to claim to my bank they did. Took 5 months to get a refund.

I should be giving 4 stars, customer service and satisfaction is of utmost importance in any business, I found pricing to be reasonable here, hard to actually comment on speed of delivery especially during covid 19 pandemic, England to southern Ireland took over 2 weeks, but that said, all my emails were answered, not by computer automation, trace and tracking made available, presentation and packaging for a sale special deal was satisfactory, I would expect any watch purchased at over £100, would be presented in a velvet cushioned box,
I would definately purchase from
CityWatches.ie again, even though its an ie address, your watches are shipped from England, safe secure and guaranteed delivery, with great customer service, CityWatches.ie have a great selection to choose from...

I ordered my Orient Sun and Moon from Citywatches.ie without doing too much research on the website. After I placed my order I decided to see what sort of delivery times to expect etc. Reading reviews on Trustpilot made me second guess myself. I was reading horror stories of people getting watches late, or not at all, and having difficulty contacting someone in the business.
I read several reviews that said the watches shipped from outside the EU, from Singapore, and therefore were subject to duty. I had read the Ts&Cs which stated all goods ship from a warehouse in the UK and was concerned there was something wrong. I contacted the website and raised these concerns together with some other queries I had.
I received a very quick reply and the staff were nothing but helpful and reassuring. The service was great and, despite Covid delays, my watch arrived in good time. I can't recommend this site enough and I would have no issues using Citywatches.ie in future, and plan to use the site soon again.

Generally a good experience
Generally a good experience, although I didn't get any parcel tracking information. The watch turned up a day after I emailed expressing my concern that it hadn't turned up. So it arrived in good time especially considering the current COVID-19 situation. All good in the end. One other thing of slight concern is the box seems not to be the original one. Normally a Seiko will come in an outer Seiko branded box. Inside that will be the instructions, warranty card and the actual watch box, also Seiko branded. In my case though, the inner box, although Seiko branded, seemed way too small for the watch. This was just in the postal carton with the instructions and warranty card, so no outer Seiko box. This may have been due to the fact that the watch that I ordered had been out of production for a few years and was quite difficult to find. However, the watch and paperwork (the important stuff) were all in perfect condition.
I would definitely use City Watches again.

I need to say that Orient Bambino is the best value for money. It looks far more expensive than really is. In-house jap.movement: +5 seconds per 24hrs.
Citywatches.ie provides the wide choice of watches in really good prices.
Very good customer care.
One star missing for delivery time: 7 days for international is good, but it could be better.
