Peter Beales Roses Opiniones 

Almost two months since my payment and, in spite of my having emailed, no roses have arrived . . . only messages with excuses and an unattended telephone.
Meanwhile roses that had been ordered from David Austin, Harkness, etc. have arrived within a few days.
All very poor, it seems that Peter Beales are no longer the people to buy roses from.

And they took my money in mid October for November bare root rose .... when I called a week ago the phone was answered but I got the impression it was my fault for calling .... phone not available today. Quick reply to enquiry via website thanking me for my patience. Have sent second query re another failed delivery explaining I am NOT AT ALL PATIENT I AM VERY CROSS AS TWO BEREAVEMENT PRESENTS HAVE GONE WRONG

If I could score 0 I would. 28 days after taking my money no product. After emailing numerous times I am informed how busy they are and it will be processed soon.
No one answers the phone in the office, utterly appalled.

In a business things go wrong sometimes and a company is judged on how to they deal with it. I am very impressed with there customer care and to they have moved boundaries to ensure my satisfaction with there product. Great company to deal with. Will use in future for sure.

Placed an order for the RNLI 200th With Courage rose at Chelsea Flower Show 2024 & received today a very healthy happy rose! Will be ordering again soon!

Just received my Aimée Vibert bare root rose that I ordered back in June. The rose arrived well hydrated & looking extremely healthy. I received a detailed planting guide that i have now followed & planted & can't wait to see this rose bloom in the summer!

Received RNLI root rose November 7th. (Ordered May - Post Chelsea Show promotion) Rose came with instructions and realised further products were need for successful planting. These should have been advertised at point of sale (for example "People that bought this also bought this". Nevertheless, we ordered additional products Via Amazon Prime for expediency given planting time. Ordered one item from Beales with next day delivery four days ago. It is evident that Beales customer support team are illiterate because they do not send salient information regarding a courier. They send a consignment number but do advise who the courier is. It is further evident that because the courier has not advised of a delivery date the goods have not, I feel, been despatched. Advise...Read all the good and poor reviews before you place your order. Because you may also have a negative viewpoint about Beales. I am extremely pleased for those lucky people that were pleased with their purchases. NM

PB Roses helped me select the correct plant. They use a quality carrier and delivered it to an awkward location perfectly. The quality of the plant is excellent and the packaging was substantial. A great experience all round, unlike several other online gardening companies I have used before. Thanks very much.

Have a 2 year old ‘Omar Kayhham ‘ rose from Peter Beales Roses which has not yet flowered. I asked for advice about non-flowering also thinking it might have reverted to a briar and my request was forwarded to their ‘rose expert’, the rose department Manager. I had to repeat my request three times in the following month before getting an answer to the effect that from the photographs the vegetation looked like a rose! The sum total of the advice. I also jbought a ‘Remember’ rose which was small and not very vigorous on receipt and which has since died. The company has been sold subsequent to Peter’s death and as the 1 star reviews outweigh the 5 star perhaps a new manager should be sought. I had two bare root roses on order which I have cancelled. I won’t be buying from Beales in the future and I have subsequently bought from ‘Buckingham Nurseries’ and ‘Varneys Plants’, very reasonably priced and excellent quality, (free postage from Varneys!). Both on Ebay but this in no way detracts from their service and their roses.

Ordered 2 roses which were both delivered in same box. One was blighted by blackspot which could of course have affected the other one, and also my other roses in the garden. Advised Peter Beales and was instructed to go and buy feed, remove leaves etc. at my own cost. Unhappy with this, I asked for my compliant to be referred to a manager who took over a week to get back to me, and told me the same thing. Honestly would have been happy if they’d apologised and sent me a container of feed, but they just said it was the weather’s fault rose had blackspot and that was it. Manager also said they hadn’t replied earlier because they’d been busy with a show which was obviously more important. So unhappy with this lack of after sales service. I won’t buy from them again.

Ordering plants by post can sometimes be a bit of a lottery...

Was very pleasantly surprised on opening the box to find a large, green, healthy and just about to flower potted rose.

I have been a customer since 2017!
Purchased bare root roses as a gift for myself and my daughter in 2023 costing £163.27. The roses were all planted in the correct way and three have failed to thrive.
I contacted Peter Beale and they will not help in any way as the roses are not long past the one year guarantee.
I apologised for not contacting them sooner and this was due to my husband undergoing a triple bypass heart surgery, which they never acknowledged.
I have had my negative comments removed from their Facebook page and I am really upset by their actions.
I have done nothing wrong - apart from being open and honest about my experience with Peter Beale Roses.
I have advised potential customers to purchase from David Austin who give a five year guarantee on their roses. Incidentally, I have also had David Austin roses as gifts and visited their rose gardens in 2022, which was a wonderful experience.

After a long drawn out complaint Victoria Davis has looked into my concerns, and I have now received three replacement roses.

I would like to write a very positive review after seeing the negativity . I for one love all my roses and they are fab this year including my newest purchase of Comte du chambord , a stunning pink rose and planted bare root this year and flowering so very happy . Did have an issue with blue for you but customer services excellent and got a replacement and been happily flowering for two years now. I am a very happy customer and wud give 10stars if I could. Only recommendation I wud suggest is give a longer guarantee of more than one year . DA give u five years . Roses I have are loyal companion , blue for you , Camille Pissarro , queen bee , timeless purple and all are flowering in abundance apart from Camille and brought some roses for my neighbours and did their garden and they love . Am nurturing velvet fragrance at mo tho and keeping fingers crossed . But overall a very happy customer and exhibiting my roses in a local flower show in July so a thumbs up and looking forward to Hampton court festival of roses in July now and loved display at Chelsea and a gold medal so that says it all really

Love my Peter Beales roses I have and are amazing this year in flower. Especially love blue for you in a pot and this was a replacement for one I lost so customer service excellent too. Love Queen bee , loyal companion and timeless purple is fabulous and perfume . Camille Pissarro hasn’t flowered yet this year but was amazing last year . Recently brought Comte du chambord and she is amazing and colour n perfume in a big blue pot . Looking forward to seeing festival of roses at Hampton court now in July . I ordered a bare root rose in February to celebrate the birth of my Granddaughter. I have sent six emails and left voice messages to complain about the sub standard rose which continues to rot further each day. I get fobbed off despite sending the photos of the awful rose. They should do the decent thing and replace the rose. Very disappointed and would never use them again.

I reported a rose bought last year that came to nothing and the member of staff immediately apologised and promised to send me a replacement. I received an email within 5 mins confirming her promise and a delivery date of a potted Summer Wine - very happy - thank you

I recently bought roses to decorate my garden. Fantastic experience overall, the roses were gorgeous, delivery was swift, and communication was excellent. They promptly handled a substitution request with great customer service. Highly recommend!

Don’t bother…. lousy customer service with no response to either phone calls or emails. The poor bare foot rose bush they sent me was not fit for purpose and should have gone in the bin before it reached me.
Spend your money elsewhere is my recommendation!

Ordered root stock on a Friday. It offered delivery 5 working days. Called, on Wednesday, to see if it would arrive this week and told it may go out next week and has not even been packed up! I have just wasted £55 and my climbing roses won’t go in this year. Big mistake!

Just received my bare root Eden Rose 88 order from Peter Beales Roses, looks a lovely healthy plant, so happy and can't wait for it to grow. I was kept informed all the way and my order was delivered from start to finish in 3 days. Fabulous!
