I ordered a rose from Peter Beales.The rose was delivered in poor condition, wilting, with only 2 tiny buds. In one week time the rose was dead, losing almost all leaves, despite of watering and being placed in part shade after delivery.
I have written twice to customer service, asking for a full refund, I called twice customer service and received no answer, but just a a vague promise to look into it.

I am very disappointed in quality of the rose and customer service inaction.

The roses were beautiful and very well received. They were professionally packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I had a bad experience ordering from another company in the past because they used a cheap, unreliable delivery service, so I was especially pleased with how well these were handled and delivered.

I first saw the 'Linda Lee' rose on Gardeners' World last year and not only is it very beautiful, it also carries the name of my 'better half', so I just had to have it. I would normally have ordered a bare-root plant but because it was out of stock, paid that little bit more for a pot-grown plant. I could not have been more satisfied! The order was process very quickly and the plant delivered promptly. The packaging was excellent, meaning the plant arrived in perfect condition with no adverse effects of transportation. I could not be more satisfied with the rose itself. It was a perfect specimen! Nicely established, healthy glossy leaves and some flowers as well. Very happy indeed, in fact, I was blown away by how beautiful my new rose is. Thank you.

Arrived promptly and the rose was in excellent condition . i bought it for my aunt as a commemorative rose after watching The Gardener Ben’s review. The rose needed to perform in different conditions as she lives in a mountainous area and this rose fitted the description needed.

Easy to find what I wanted. Good helpful descriptions and when the rose arrived it was beautiful.

The rose, when it finally arrived, was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't fault the quality of the rose plant or the way it was packaged for transport.

However, I would have like more information about the actual deliverly- the estimated delivery did not happen and I had to wait in for 2 days instead of 1.

The Claude Monet rose arrived with intact packaging, good. Rose very dry and watered immediately, One rose out so aware of what was to come. Lovely subtle colouring and a beautiful scent. Some leaves crispy and one bent stem. Potted up in terra cotta pot for the present with room to grow on. Had one rose feed. Placed in a sunny spot by some steps. Looking forward to new growth.

I had been searching for a rose in memory of my mother. Found "Evelyn May" on Peter Beales' web site, ordered one and it was delivered very quickly. It is a lovely rose in tip top condition, possibly one of the best roses purchased for ages. Very pleased with the service and rose- many thanks.

The rose received looks healthy, no buds as yet, but hopefully it will bloom this year. Delivery was quick and secure.
