Well that was a really pleasant surprise! While when I signed up I understood the terms I then read some reviews and thought should I have done this. Three months later the rates were reduced and just got my refund from the council. I had given the staff some grief during the process as a result but now have to say they did exactly what they said they would do despite my rantings along the way which obviously did not deter them from eventually proving my misgivings wrong. Happy to be wrong

They made me go rates free so I got all my money back and I think that’s it for me and rates

A very pleasant experience! After Covid hit my business really struggled but Clements got in touch and were able to help out, it was a huge relief! Had some back dated money and also a reduction going forward.

Moving out so wanted to see if there was any money in doing this to my rates. Turns out there was 9000 in it so I think it’s worth it.

The got into much with me and explained what would happen if I challenged to rates on my 2 shops. It didn’t take as long as I thought, about 2months and I got a nice bit of backdated money.
Reading the other reviews I would just make sure you know what you are going into first.

Saved me a fortune. I was unsure of the job Clements would do after I signed up as it took a few weeks to send the appeal off and sort out the registration process which left me doubting the whole process. That being said 4 months on they have today agreed a really great result for me. The rates on my property are being cut by half and I am now due a sizeable refund from the council.

I have tried this before a few years ago but wasn’t able to get anyway. I would highly recommended Clements Agency as at the end of the day they achieved what I wanted them to.

Terrible experience. I was taken to court today and I lost the case. I will narrate my experience after the judgment is received in writing.

Outstanding result achieved. I was originally told to expect a saving of around £3,000 a year. The company processed a payment from me at the time for £5.99 and 3 weeks later they reduced my rates. The saving was twice as good as they predicted at the start and we also feel I have grounds for a second appeal to reduce a little more.

I have been very impressed with the service, the speed of result and general manor of the company. I was asked to publish my honest thoughts on the company and the above represents just that.

Never trust this people , never even talk to them , they called me and told me a big lies , (we get you a 12K grant and reduce business rate by 40 percent , and they said no job done no fees) and after a few days they submitted a form to VOA and ask me to pay them £954 and they said TERMS AND CONDITIONS, I said the job is not done yet and WHEN I GET the grant you will get paid , they opened a case in the court for Against me and now they want £1066 including court fees, I have to go the court now !!!!!!!!!!!
PRO SCAMMERS and VERY BAD COMPANY

Clements called me offering to review the amount that I was paying in business rates. I am glad they did.I was initially sceptical about their ability to be able to do what they promised, but they did exactly what they said, securing me around £4000 refund from Redbridge
council with future savings to come due to lowering my rateable value.

Not your average office the manager is very direct very hands on with a very unusual manner I was sceptical at first but am now rates free it didn’t happen overnight but they never promised it would
Can’t understand negative reviews I couldn’t be more impressed!!!

The process of getting our rates assessed and a consequential outcome took nearly 2 years in total.
Long term the outcome was good for us, but the whole process took a lot longer than expected. The communication on the whole was poor and I found it very hard to get answers or be able to speak to the right person.

We also were told we were going to get a rebate, but actually the whole history of our rates hadnt been looked at, so actually we weren't entitled to anything. But this was only realised once I had chased up the council and gotten the history of the building. Clements hadn't looked into this and were actively chasing up their commission when we weren't ever going to receive any.

Ultimately we did get our rates lowered and if anything our neighbours have benefitted from this more than ourselves, so for everyone its a good end result, and we are very popular on the street for proceeding with the claim! but I am not sure I would recommend the whole process with Clements agency to anyone.

I run a small business and have found Clements to be extremely helpful and professional when dealing with their staff. Always friendly and eager to assist. They have helped me massively with a reduction in my rates. Would highly recommend them.

Avoid this company. It is a scam. I was bullied into paying over £2000 by sending me court actions even though i had changed my mind as i didn't feel confident that they were a legitimate company. 2 years later, I still haven't received a penny even though I have rang them a few times. I am so angry that they bullied me with court action even though all i had paid was £11.98. They have assured me that my claim is all going through, this has being going on since August 2020 and still nothing. Do not let them bully you into paying anything!!

DO NOT TRUST these scammers who mask themselves behind a company with fake 5 star reviews on trust pilot..! I got pressured into signing up with a no win no fee case, then half way down they told me I will get a massive rebate but first I need to pay £900 for their fees to get the money released to me after 30 days. Literally after they received the money they never replied to any of my emails and just ignored me only to contact me 2 years later asking for them to save me more money.. to go through the whole process again... BE WARNED!

had very bad experience with them they charged me and could able to do anything for me now stop taking my calls never ever recommend them. wrost people ever

Clements agency have been amazing. Not only did they reduce my rates I got a refund of 14k due to overpayment.
