Great bunch of staff at Ilford branch friendly and helpful.
My only criticism is the braches closing times are ridiculously to early i mean 2pm branches close is not good in my opinion especially when I have a short lunch break to go to bank then find they are closed . Not Good

Co-operative bank - open when needed.
In the current climate of bank closures, it is always nice to be able to speak to a person. The Co-op bank in Caerphilly is open when needed and has friendly and helpful staff. The bank is accessible with ramps and low counters for wheelchair users.

Great service always!
The Cooperative bank always offers first class service. Any issues are resolved promptly by customer service, and employees always show great empathy and understanding. The online platform is easy to use.
I've had an account with the cooperative bank for 40 years and whilst my accounts held with other banks have come and gone, the Cooperative is the one bank I've always stuck with. That says everything you need to know really.

I moved to Coop bank more than fifty…
I moved to Coop bank more than fifty years ago. It has always had lower, or no charges for basic service. It was one of the first to introduce phone banking service 24/7 which I found very useful.
I moved overseas (Oz) and then things got difficult. They really only want UK permanent resident customers, which is understandable but it should still be easy to operate the account if you move away. I really find it useful to have a UK account, but I could easily have abandoned it when all the laundering/MFA issues complicated things. Also , there's a long wait time for phone help and half an hour wait when it's transnational is very frustrating . I still value their ideals.
