Takes hours to input data that should take minutes. List of types of companies do not list the common ones. Trying to determine what fields are required takes forever.
I'm yet another user that is having difficulty with coupa. They do not answer emails, the live system help doesnt work. DO NOT USE COUPA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible platform for both supplier and customer. Constant nag screens for the supplier to upgrade. Adjusting a simple invoice is impossible. None of this system seemed to be designed from an accounting point of view. Clunky, aged system. Customer not happy either with the sheer amount of time everything takes now. We're both losing money from this software and both deeply regret going this route. Things were much quicker and simpler when we managed accounts ourselves.

If I could give this useless piece of software no stars I would as they do not deserve 1. I have just spent an hour of my life trying to do 1 siple thing and it is still not complete. I chatted with several 'customer service agents' .... bots? .... who were completely hapless and had no idea how to do the basics. It is the worstsoftware I have ever used. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Deeply Disappointed — Unethical and Unreliable Company
I’ve had one of the worst experiences with this company. They made promises about keeping customer data safe, but their actions tell a very different story. I felt misled and completely let down. Their software is full of bugs and barely delivers on even the most basic functions — it constantly feels unfinished and unreliable.
Customer support is frustrating to deal with and often unprofessional. It’s clear that quality control and accountability are not priorities here. For a company claiming to be a serious SaaS provider, their ethical standards and product reliability are shockingly poor.
Avoid this service if you value transparency, professionalism, and working software.
It sucks and it's a big pain in the ass
As a vendor the portal sucks, navigating it is not very user friendly, doing invoices it's laggy when to calculate the total and then it rests mine and customer information so I have to type and select everything again. And God forbid you lose access to authenticator app and try to log in to your account. Customer service sucks for this matter and they'd rather be a pain in the ass for you and your customer than use a different way to verify you. They say you can change the method of authentication, but guess what? You can't find it because it's not easy to navigate the website and it's not user friendly. If there was an option to give 0 starts that's what I'd do.

This so-called AI is so badly designed that it is not even possible to find a provider if you don't write precisely (case sensitive and all that comes with it) their name.
Takes ages to have something done properly and is not adapted to a computer screen.

If I could rate it under one star I would. I have to spend hours a day on this terrible software trying to upload invoices, which is near impossible. They are consistently months late in paying, there is an invoice on there that was due on 25th Jun- I phoned up to see when we'd receive payment and he said maybe on the 28th Nov??!! If you hate your suppliers and never want to pay then use this software. DO NOT TAKE ON POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS THAT USE COUPA

Sent this to use for a customer. We can't even register with it... Coupa signed me up to marketing spam without consent, even though we couldn't complete registration.

Horrid. Absolutely horrid software. I'm considering letting a contract go because they use Coupa and it's a time-consuming, frustrating, inefficient pile of... well, you know.

Platform is buggy to start, provides little to nothing in terms of UX. Difficult to navigate using drop downs, buttons, and text searches.
Putting incredibly simple features like searching all customers behind a paywall is atrocious. I know damn well the query costs $0.005 more, especially for smaller sellers like us.
TLDR, mediocre platform likes to squeeze money where they shouldn't, which makes it a terrible platform IMO.

Very ineffective, unproductive Company. If you can find a more efficient software then please do. Don't waste your time with them. They add new meaning to the term non helpful. They cause unnecessary stress to what is a very simple solution. There is more than one way to do anything, they haven't figured that out yet.

This platform is unwieldy, complex and unworkable. If you really, really hate your vendors, and you are approaching insolvency -it's perfect, as you will never pay an invoice again because they cannot be lodged. And the customer service is abysmal
NIGHTMARE
This payment portal is an absolute nightmare, the most dreadful and infuriating experience I have ever had the misfortune to endure. It is a cesspool of deceit and incompetence, where dishonesty is the norm and reliability is a distant memory. They have a remarkable talent for lying, weaving tales that are as convincing as they are false, leaving you in a state of perpetual frustration and disbelief. When they do manage to part with your money, it is a rare and miraculous event, akin to witnessing a unicorn. And even when they do send you a check, it is a cruel joke, a worthless piece of paper that refuses to clear, despite being drawn from the very same bank I use! It is as if they take pleasure in watching you squirm, trapped in a web of their own making. This place is a den of iniquity, as crooked and morally bankrupt as they come. I implore you, with every fiber of my being, to steer clear of this abomination at all costs. Save yourself the agony and despair that comes with dealing with such a reprehensible entity.

Invasive, frustrating, over board solution for a non existent problem
I recently did business with a company that uses this software. Don't expect to get paid anytime soon, do expect to jump through a MILLION and ONE hoops just to have to jump through yet another one or TEN. It's ridiculous, frustrating, invasive and just not worth the hassle. My invoice is months late and these people keep wanting more information. It's not like we are applying for any kind of credit, someone OWES US!!!!! I mean I am all for security, but this software feels cheap and so overboard it feels sketchy. Don't put your customers through this crap. People have been getting paid electronically for a long time now and if you don't trust it, pay with a credit card or SEND A CHECK!!!! But don't force your customers to endure this, just pay them!

Truly truly unusable. Forced to use this system to receive a payment. Have no idea why anyone would choose this system. Maybe the back end functions well. The registration and user side of things is up there with the worst websites I’ve ever interacted with.
Time consuming
Time consuming, not intuitive, Unnecessarily unhelpful. Suspect large businesses use it as a way to not pay small one off suppliers as it takes more time to administer than the value of the invoice. I won't deal with companies who insist on using it to pay invoices.
