Takes hours to input data that should take minutes. List of types of companies do not list the common ones. Trying to determine what fields are required takes forever.

TOTAL SCAM!!!
I was forced to sign up for this scam service. I have to pay a fee to get paid for what is owed to my company. What a scam! This has to be one of the worst scams going these days. It's so much easier to just deal directly with the companies. But now that everyone is lazy and works from home, there isn't anyone to do any real work anymore. I had an issue because my customer is not linked to my profile. The instructions say to contact "support". There was so support. Their answer for everything is to contact the customer. Which is what they are hired for in the first place. Their chat help is a joke. I waited for a reply for a long time. I think the agent fell asleep. Then they couldn't help and asked if they could help with "anything else". When I told them they hadn't helped at all, they couldn't disconnect the chat fast enough. Must be time for another nap. Don't waste your money or your vendor's time with this POS company!

What a piece of crap. I have never used any software with a more horrible, dreadful user experience.
Atrocious
This worthless system was imposed on me and my company. It has only caused strain on the relationship with the company who contracted me. Their customer service says the same thing about every issue: "we can't access that" and "you need to contact the customer directly". They are literally a procurement "company" telling you to bug the customer directly. Also, they try to funnel you into purchasing a $5,000 membership by making it even harder to use.
Hate it
We have a couple of "large" customers, mostly in the sense that the companies themselves are large - not that they spend excessively with us - who are exclusively COUPA users. The added effort of processing their purchase orders is barely worth the revenue gained. It causes several months of delays due to constant back and forth, poorly conceived purchase orders where they use quantity instead of dollar value. And then tying it with GST is another dance barely worth the effort.

One star is one star too many! We have been trying to get paid for services rendered for months! I was finally told that were approved for a "quick pay" and would be paid within 5 days.... here we are 5 days later and now I'm pretty much being told we "may" be paid by June 23rd. BEWARE, if you're going to work for a company that uses this sorry excuse of a system!

I was invited to apply to be a vendor. They seem to ask for the same information over and over, and then didn't save it when I submitted it. When I complained, they asked for a copy of the error message, and of course, there wasn't one. I advised my potential customer that I wouldn't be able to comply.
Countless issues with this product
Coupa was imposed on my organization about a year ago, and since then, we have experienced innumerable issues with getting suppliers paid in a timely manner. It is extremely unintuitive, and obligates the suppliers we work with to go through a grueling onboarding process. There's no support contact we can offer them, and ultimately, it has had serious implications on our relationships with our suppliers. We were not given sufficient training on the platform as users and have had to problem solve on our own to get things processed. 0/10, all-around terrible, awful product.
If you dont have to, dont use COUPA
Possibly one of the worst procurment systems I have used. Had my phone stolen 3 weeks ago. Since then I have been trying to get the TFA removed so I can invoice my biggest customer. The hoops you have to jump through, the lack of response in a timely manner are appauling. I cant invoice my biggest client and I cant place orders for them without logging in to my account. I could open a bank account far easier than dealing with coupa.. Apparently Only one person can work on kmy issue at any one time.....

Absolutely terrible customer support. The worst user interface of any piece of software I have ever used. How is this company still in business?
Run away if you can
I could write a book about my negative experiences with Coupa. I will only write the latest one. I am a vendor. As I am trying to enter a new invoice in the system in order to get paid, I get an error about "tax headline". There is no field in the form I am filling about "tax", nor "tax headline". I contact the support service. After 10 minutes of checking, they tell me the error comes from my client: their Purchase Order doesn't have a "tax declaration" field filled. The support service tells me "Please tell your client to fill that line". Wait a minute - they fill their form wrong and you don't tell them? I have to tell them? "Yes, that's the only way to do it". Are you kidding me? Do I have to do your job now???
We avoid customers who use COUPA
We have two large customers who use Coupa, for both of them the system is awful and just produces problems. In both cases this causes months of delays to payments, which as a small business is killer.
What blows my mind is the lack of ability to talk to someone, its all adding comments to online tickets which is great if someone actually reads/answers them! I have invoices marked as "awaiting approval" which customers claim they can't see. I had another invoice that the customer wanted amending slightly, which in COUPA means you have to issue a credit note and reissue... doing this causes more problems and no payments. Honestly, its a terrible system and companies should stop being tight and stop getting their suppliers to do their finances for them!
We now avoid customers who use COUPA.

If I could give it a zero I would. We are a vendor and literally never get paid properly. Everytime I contact my vendor, they have NO clue how to use it and it is ridiculous. We finally got approved for payment and I asked their chat who put me on hold for 5 mins to come back and say its sensitive information to say the method of payment being used and when it would arrive. That is literally all they are there for!

This is the worst portal I have ever dealt with. There is no customer support, They never answer the chat, No phone numbers to call. Why a vendor would want to use this is beyond me. All there ratings are one start only because we can't give them a minus one star. Worst Portal Ever. Been trying to get this straighten out for over a year now.
Absolutely awful UX
Absolutely awful UX. One of the most pointless platforms ever. Nothing makes sense, the navigation is completely illogical, there's no flow or common sense to the steps to go through and the online support is far from helpful.
If it wasn't for our clients using it, this would be something I would never get involved with. Even so, I take every opportunity to avoid having to use it.
Cannot recommend looking for alternatives strongly enough.
Absolute nightmare
Absolute nightmare. Portal is not user friendly at all. If it wasn’t for the fact my customer uses them I would run a mile! Nightmare customer service too.
Funny it asks date of experience this has been going on for months. Something which should be a 15 minute process at best.
Worst Billing Software
I have used billing software for over 20+ years and this is the most non-user-friendly software I have had to deal with. From the supplier side it is nearly impossible setting up an account.
