I found using their website clear and easy to use. There is lots of choice. The booking of the cottage was simple and I was sent emails confirming the booking and detailed information on the surrounding area and how to get there.

Very helpful in organising with the owners to replace a missing key.

The team at Crabtree are so helpful. They provide an excellent service and could not try harder to ensure you have a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. I really value being able to speak to the team on the phone rather than having to do everything remotely. Their prices are fair and helped by some special offers. I have now rented more than a dozen properties from Crabtree and Crabtree and all have been consistently excellent in a range of 8/10 for the most basic to 12/10 for the most sumptuous (Pappel Farmhouse). C&C seems to know how to provide consistency across all its properties and compared with competitors C&C always seem to give that little bit more in terms of the fittings and furnishings and general information about house and area. I recommend Crabtree and Crabtree unreservedly. They are a simply a great team providing a great service!

As the boiler had burst at the property we had booked we got 2 near each other which was a bit disappointing but worked okay, one of them was only to sleep in and the other one was amazing for our family get together. Many thanks to Lynn from Crabtree for all her help with only 24 hours to find us something. We had a great time.

after our holiday we were accused of causing damage to a kitchen cupboard door and had our security deposit withheld. The damage we were accused of causing was actually apparent on the photographs of the property on Crabtree and Crabtree's website, which photographs they have confirmed were taken in May 2023 - over 2 and a half years prior to our holiday. We will not be booking with them again.

What a stunningly beautiful home that provides for your every need. We had a wonderfully relaxing time over Christmas, there is so much space and the kitchen is incredible. We witnessed some outstanding sunsets over the Pentland Hills. The local beaches are very near and there are some lovely walks in the area too.

I’ve used Crabtree and Crabtree 4 times for booking cottages. Professional, friendly and helpful. Great choice of properties. Booking system is simple to use. Website gives accurate details of properties with some added local knowledge.

The cottage was in a beautiful setting, great for getting away and relaxing . The cottage itself had everything you needed, it was clean and comfortable.
