Ordered two different sizes. Both do not stay on my feet. I am stuck with them because they do not refund your money and I do not want any other ill-fitting garbage

Amazing customer service and shoes!

First, the quality and comfort of the shoes is amazing for the price point. I absolutely LOVE the style of shoe I picked out! I ordered 0.5 size up for a mule, and they were not only comfortable but GORGEOUS as well! The pvc does not dig into your toes and it was soft and pliable just like leather. The insole has a nice cushion on the bottom. The heel was also in the perfect location for walking/standing for a long period of time. Second, Cult of Coquette has amazing customer service. I was flying into DC for an event on very short notice and was not able to find the shoes I wanted before I left. I ordered these and had them sent to my hotel in DC via overnight shipping the before I flew out. I followed up with customer service and they were so sweet! They made sure my note about the event date was included and that my item arrived at the hotel on time. I appreciate their team so much for going the extra mile for my first purchase. I will absolutely buy more shoes from them, both for daily wear and for events.

Best shopping experience, second only to Christian Louboutin!

I just checked my closet and realized that I own 7, yes 7 pairs of Cult of Coquette shoes and I am obsessed with every pair. But more than the quality of the shoes and the fact that they are vegan, their customer service are top notch! I recently reached out with an obscure request and not only did they respond and acknowledge said request, they followed up within 24hrs with a resolution! I love, love, love this company! High quality products, fabulous styles and stellar customer service.

Wow, disappointing

Wow, after reading the other reviews I feel like my experience was not unique. I had a terrible experience with this company, the owner and the product. The owner refused to offer a refund for the returned product and was extremely rude throughout the entire process. Additionally, the shoes were extremely uncomfortable. I could not recommend this place any less

Hi Drew,
To clarify, you never had any interaction with me (the founder), only our customer service rep. I have reviewed the correspondence to make sure they supplied you with the assistance they are trained to provide.
After reviewing all the emails it seems you requested a return because the shoes did not fit (there was no mention of discomfort).

We provided you with directions for a return as well as details about our return policy. Your response was to request a refund, we replied by letting you know we do not provide refunds at this time, but our store credits do not expire and letting you know the places on the site this information was clearly posted, in addition to it being explained previously via email. Your response to this was to threaten to open a chargeback to get around store policy. While we understand the policy may not be what you wanted, all stores have policies and they can't constantly be broken just because a customer did not read it or because they don't like it, this would obviously defeat the purpose of a policy.

We apologize that you experienced a less than satisfactory experience, the shoes you purchased have been a best seller for a couple years and you did have the option to exchange for a style you liked better/found more comfortable, or to take the store credit which would not expire.

No refunds and terrible customer service…

No refund and terrible customer service overall. I've never had a more rude reply from a company before. It's unfortunate because I would like to support vegan companies and this poor experience is disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend this company, unfortunately.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent return experience with Cult of Coquette. I returned a pair of shoes and received a credit, but I requested a refund instead. Unfortunately, the email exchange that followed felt unprofessional and frustrating. A positive customer experience is essential to the success of any business & this one let itself down.

Below is a copy of the correspondence with "customer service", I'll let you be the judge.

"Saying things like "would you be proud of this interaction if it was posted online as a review" is a threat. You are threatening to repost a private conversation to intimidate us into doing what you want.

Telling us our response is "irrelevant" just because it's not what you want to hear, is rude, and speaks more to anger issues than any response we have given you.

We've delivered exceptional customer service and been very kind and accommodating to you.

We accepted this last return outside the return window. We easily could have refused to accept the return and we would be within our rights with the posted return policy of 14 days.
If you recall, we also gave you a gift card in the amount $25 after you missed a sale and wanted an $11 refund.

Hopefully your new order is up to your standards and you enjoy your shoes.

We do have fast returns, that means we send the exchange quickly. Returns mean we do accept the product back, it is not final sale, a refund means we give the original payment back, which is not our policy.

It's not very rare, so I would definitely suggest reading the policies of other stores before ordering as well, some charge restocking fees, some charge for returns, some only do final sales, it varies. HI Penelope! I am the founder of Cult of Coquette and I wanted to review your interaction with our customer service rep to make sure you received the assistance they are trained to provide.
Upon reviewing the emails it seems you requested a return and were supplied with directions and our return policy details. You sent the shoes back and they were processed in a timely manner and a store credit was issued. Once your received your credit you replied back asking for a refund, to which we again replied with our return policy and let you know at this time we do not offer refunds, but our store credits do not expire and can be transferred. Your response to this was to tell us the policy should have been on the product page (instead of the returns policy ad FAQs page where it is customarily posted) and that you would be writing a negative review. The rep then let you know you are welcome to write a review (as shown in the emails you posted). You then went on to berate the rep. by saying they need anger management etc. While I completely understand you were dissatisfied with our policy, it is up to the customer to read the returns policy before purchasing, we can not force customers to do so, and our rep that is just delivering this information to you should not be subjected to insults because you did not do so. I'm sorry you had an experience that was not positive for you, but we do have to uphold our policy.
