Very pleased with both the CTD team and the final design that was delivered. I sent a draft of what I had in mind and Christine, the designer assigned to my work made a first draft in no time and she was always open about new ideas, changes etc. I'm very satisfied with the experience I had with these guys and will surely be back if decide to get another tattoo.

Wouldn’t recommend these guys, my tattoo design isn’t terrible but it isn’t good. I went back and forth and was told I couldn’t do this or that. I eventually just gave up paid the money assuming I would get a really detailed design of the draft and it just turned out to be the draft without the watermarks.

It’s blurry in some spots where it was just copied and pasted from previous designs, and not symmetrical.

I’ve pretty much got a rough template I can give to my artist to change because there is no way I would get the final product tattooed on me.

Definitely worth 5 stars. The artistic designs, timely manner, and amazing customer service from my artist Mila through Custom Tattoo Design (CTD) all deserve a 5 star rating. She did an amazing job and the company she represented did an amazing job referring her.

This was an excellent experience to get a custom tattoo design, if you’re looking for a personalized tattoo this is the place. Artist was very supportive and listened to everything I asked for. It was very easy to see the updated design and it turned out better than I imagined.

So this is my very first time of getting a design of a tattoo and I was super amazed with who I worked with and my design! She was very spot on with how I wanted the design and made sure that it was exactly what I wanted it to be. As for the artist, she was absolutely amazing herself! She was very personable and nice to work with, very understanding and did above and beyond with her work. For something of a design o find important to me, she had brought the beauty of it out!

I'll start by saying that I'm not an easy customer. I'm extremely particular when it comes to art, especially art that I'm planning on having on my body until my body is no more.

After providing my initial inspiration and the style I'm after (tribal, matched to my existing tattoos), CTD matched me up with Jesus Ronson. His first attempt was about 50% right, and I provided feedback. Second attempt was 90% right, and there was about 7 rounds of back and forth to get to 100%. The patience and attention to detail shown by the artist made it an absolute pleasure to work with.

The finished product did have a problem of being a little low definition for the tattooists printer. I raised this with the team and a few days later a super high definition version was sent through, which is perfect.

Having come into this experience unsure of whether I'd get what I wanted, I'm extremely pleased with both the artist and customer service. I will be recommending CTD to anyone who asks, and will use them again myself in the future.

The experience was better than I could of imagined. After paying my deposit which I was a bit worried about I was sent an email from a real person (not automated) and was matched with the artist who would be creating my design shortly thereafter. Dhruva was my artist and did a fantastic job! I received prompt replies and updates about my design and any changes that I asked to be made were done so without question. All of the elements I wanted were put into the design so that they fit together seamlessly and I am left with the perfect tattoo. I can't recommend the company enough and huge shout out to my artist for the outstanding artistry and customer service.

We are very disappointed with the service. We sent four images as inspiration to the company, in detail requesting which aspects of those images we would like in the tattoo. The artist simply merged the four photos together and went against our initial creative request. We did not approve the draft sketch and went back to him with amendments to be made, and he ignored our request and had already created the detailed tattoo design- even though we were initially unhappy with the draft. The detailed design also went against our requests and was sent in colour, even though we asked for black and white. The artist then claimed that this was his style and that this is how he works. This completely goes against what the company was offering- the company makes claims that they can create designs in ANY style and we can make amendments to the draft before the detailed version is created. Waste of money.

Hello I just had a tattoo made it took a week for a person called daniel who is so amazing at what he did for me I had no problem with contact or reply with them what I asked for is what I got there was no problem at all and already thinking off my next one with them all the best keep up the good work and stay safe

Simply perfect. It was done quickly, design was 10/10 and i was always contacted about design and was asked if i like it or want it other way. Also the first time that when i write email to an company that actuall real people wrote me back (real qucik) and helped me with my question instead of automessage. I highly reccomend.

Review update: The company did come back and try to resolve. I successfully was able to get a much better quality drawing. They do have some technical issues they need to work out in terms of process and communication but I'm very happy with my final artwork. So I increased from a 2 to a 4 for thier effort to resolve. Zlatko is a talented realism artist. I will say if you want quality you have to be vocal about it and push for it but the end result is amazing. I'm very very satisfied with that part.
They no longer offer the ability to review the artwork on your body and discounts offered are only applied to the deposit.

I wish I could write a excellent review . I dont have a tattoo and I'm out 85.00 . I did a lot of research trying to choose the right company. I chose CTD. Red flags from the beginning but I looked over them and kept giving chances. To begin a quote , they ask a series of questions to " match " you with the appropriate artist. I answered the questions and submitted the initial request. I specified the area the tattoo was for upper back area and I specified type as realistic . The 1st email I got back said I chose the forearm. I'm not sure how. They actually have you click on the area of the body you want tattooed. So I got that corrected and I was linked to an artist. Service was still great upto this moment. The artist was very kind and patient but apparently the artist I was matched with didn't specialize in realistic. When I brought it to the company attention, they immediately pointed t h.g e finger at me claiming they didn't know I wanted a realistic tattoo when in fact you cant miss the question at the beginning asking what type of tattoo you want. Then you proceed to describe what you want in the description. Naturally since I had just answered the question directly I went on to describe the tattoo. Thier response was " had they known I wanted a realistic tattoo they would have matched me up with the appropriate artist" second shot they took at me before they offered a solution was . I didn't advice them in my initial request 🤔. Bottom line the software used is not performing efficiently so please read all the details and make sure what you request is what your getting. Had they handled their mistake properly I wouldn't have an issue. I'm out 85.00 and nothing to show for it I don't trust the company at this point. I hope they atleast paid the artist the full deposit they got . This was not her mistake either. Interesting enough noone has responded with any type of apology or attempt to rectify which says alot about the company and mindset when it comes to customer satisfaction. Good luck . I hope you have a better experience than I did. The money back guarantee is a joke. The first draft will never be what you want and if you give the artist a second chance to redeem them selves you just lost the opportunity for a refund. Oh and there is a strong possibility it may not be the right artist so you need ask all pertinent questions before that first draft comes.

I searched for someone who could create a collage of one of my favorite shows ever: JoJo' Bizarre Adventure. The problem was that the style needed to be hammered on point as well as putting it alltogether in a coherent design AND dealing with the details I used to add a lot of as I'm a superfan. I found no german site who did this (I'm from Germany), so I gave Custon Tattoo Design from Canada a shot - and it was an instant hit! The response time was super fast, they provided a lot of info beforehand and from partial payment to getting to know who my personal designer was (Carmen from Spain, you did a hell of a good job!) it took about roughly eight hours. Because of some Corona issues, the first sketch came a few days late, which was no problem for me. But the artist absolutely knocked it out of the park. I loved it, but I wanted some details added. During the progress which would finally take about 1,5 weeks, we even changed the head of a whole character, added details and splashed in the right colour for my likings. The designer responded fast, she took it very serious and professional and we didn't stop before the design was perfect. After doing the final payment, Carmen event sent me the outlines in HD for my tattoo artist so he can put it on my arm easier. Bottom line: A perfect customer experience.

I am beginning the journey of getting a first Tattoo. I was put in touch with a very well respected and talented local tattoo artist, but was told they don’t communicate well. My anxiety was high when thinking about how to give my ideas when I am not an artist. I was concerned that I’d settle for whatever just to avoid an uncomfortable situation. From the start of the process with CTD, my anxiety has been decreased. The customer service
was outstanding and my artist, Oksana listened and put together the elements I wanted in ways I couldn’t envision. She provided so many options and tweaked as needed that in the end it was difficult for me to decide a favorite! Finally, I asked her opinion and her thoughtfulness in explaining her design choices helped me confirm my final selection. Now I’m confident I have a good design for a talented artist to complete.

I worked with Custom Tattoo Design twice in 2016. The first time was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn’t fault the company one bit, hence why I decided to use them again, but the second time ended up being absolutely awful. I was working with a new artist (Mika) who, although extremely talented, had a really sinister side. She actually dug up my old Yahoo Answers page from when I was a teenager and used it against me (making snide references to my birth name which I changed to distance myself from childhood abuse, etc.), and even now, over three years on, the incident still has a negative effect on my mental health. Credit where it’s due: Management were really understanding when a complaint was filed about this - they really went above and beyond - but even so, what I went through was horrific and it’s only now that I feel able to talk openly about what Mika did to me.

Very good service and made all the changes I asked for quickly as we went through the process. Really easy to work with and I loved the result.

Professional and efficient. Not only do they make beautiful artwork but they are patient with adjustments and fast with replies. Don't really have any cons, they exceeded my expectations.

I'm overall satisfied with my artwork from CTD. The only reason I am not giving them a Five Star rating is because I believe they could have facilitated a more collaborative process through the effective use of technology. As an online service provider of a very personal product, it's imperative to connect with clients on as personable a basis as possible. My collaboration was via email and web-links.

While they were able to get the artwork to a point where I was pleased with the presentation, use of tools like Skype, Jitsi, Webex, Slack, etc could have accelerated the process of discovery, as well as real-time collaboration and feedback.

Very talented artists, they were extremely patient with me while I made several changes to my design, they also kept constant communication during the entire process and were quick to deliver.
