Purchased items in August that never arrived. They have a bot called Stephanie who keeps sending me automated responses and does nothing. Must be a low value AI.

This was the first time placing an order (online) with Decathlon. I made the "mistake" of using "Sign In With Apple". Basically the money was taken but no confirmation sent anywhere. For four days nothing was updated in the app and I had to write three emails to customer service. One was particularly snarky and insinuated I did not know how to check my emails... the third email finally gave me a tracking number and to be fair AnPost misrouted my parcel (not Decathlon), but I still had to write three emails to get a tracking number because the app didn't show anything.

Got the order today, I am very happy with the backpack, it has lots of storage room and was reasonably priced, looks perfect for hiking.

Really not happy with the customer service or app though.

I made a purchase with this company on line July 21, 2023. I never received the package. The representative at Decathalon said delivery was attempted by An Post & there was no answer. I was confined to my home due to illness & no delivery was attempted & no notice left. Leaving that aside, Decathlon refused to issue me a credit until they received the package back, An Post returned the package on August 16, 2023. I had to contact the company yesterday August 28, 2023 to inquire why my account had not been credited. I also said I would file a dispute with my bank and the CCPC if I did not recieve a credit by the end of business. Within an hour they came back to me saying they would issue a credit and it would take three (3) days or longer to register with my account.
I will never do business with these people again.

Ordered a shoe and few T-shirts online. It shows that it would be delivered next day. Then got confirmation that order is validated. Then got email that order is cancelled. I took a lot of time select the product and without giving details and reason the order was cancelled. When I tried to contact the customer care, a lot of time was wasted with Bot. The customer care doesn't care to answer my questions. She simply copied the Bot's response. No one picks up the customer care phone. The so-called available products in Decathlon store are either non-existent or actually unavailable. Website does not show correct information. It's a wastage of time.

Bought a bike for my son they then had to deliver it as it wasn’t in stock so then when it came had to go back to Ballymun
Again to get it built and call back when it was assembled did that on Saturday afternoon put the bike in the car then they tried to stop me and my son leaving the car park and said I had not paid for the bike took them half an hour to realise the bike had tags on it to release it from the workshop!
What stupidity my son was upset ,get your act together Decathlon

My husband ordered a bike for me size M on 20th July, we even paid extra for express delivery, which didn’t even deliver on the initial day established. Arrives a week late, massive box with Label M on the outside of the box. Well, as soon as we opened the contents turns out the bike was clearly labelled as size L (how can someone deliver the wrong size when the bike is clearly labelled?). It’s obvious to me the model and size ordered was not on stock and decathlon would still take the money and send the wrong bike on purpose so that you have take the hassle of contacting customer service to arrange a pick up collection and refund, no indication of when yet, only apologised and that’s it. In the meantime I have a massive box occupying a house space with small children that could fall onto and no money back. This is just unacceptable and I am not buying nor ordering from decathlon ever again.

Ordered horse riding boots in a UK size 5 and size 3 UK boots arrived. Emailed customer service and was ignored. Best avoid this website at all costs.

DO NOT ORDER FROM DECATHLON

Long story short they delivered the wrong bike. Refused to refund until they had received it back. Easy solution to the problem yes? They simply come and pick it up and i get refunded. But nope! First they take over a month to organise a pick up date. Thats a month with a massive box in my entrance making it hard for us to go from our front door to our kitchen.
Then when they finally decide its time to pick it up they tell me I have to be home to hand it over to An Post... I was off most of July and I am literally3 days back at work! I can not take anymore time off.
They are making it impossible for me to get a refund. I'm out 335€

I needed a tyre for my elec scooter. They had one in stock at ballymun but decided to get home delivery. It's coming from Germany for god's sake and will take a week. Why is it not sent from the store ??? Now I'm without transport for a week.
You should be told delivery comes from a central warehouse and not the store up the road!!!

They are not based in Ireland. Shipping is very slow. When the package arrived (Martial arts sandals). they were in a large paper envelope, which was open. The sandals were hanging half out of the package. I was lucky to get them. I could have received a paper bag. I have to thank the postal service for their safe arrival not decathlon.

Waited 2 weeks for my sons bike to arrive, when it did arrive, then sent the wrong bike.
We now have to send the bike back and only then will they refund.
They will not replace the bike with the correct one.

Terrible company to deal with, best not use them.

I bought a bicycle for my daughter for Christmas. On Christmas Eve. I went to put the bicycle together to find there was a manufactured fault in the bicycle which made it unusable. It really upset us as parents as this was her Christmas present. I contacted the shop twice before I got a reply and when I returned the bicycle I got flung a new bike and barely paid lip service by the “manager” who was very unhelpful. They didn’t make me feel valued as a customer or apologise in anyway. Just barley complied with their statutory commitments and that was all. I’m sorry I didn’t go to a local shop instead. I have photos etc to verify this review

I ordered two 6 men tents and two inflatable mattresses. I received a box with the two inflatable mattresses but only one tent and it was a 4 person tent. There was no way to contact them by Phone and the Decabot chatbot can only say 'please rephrase this' or post links to unhelpful items about the company. I kicked myself after reading the reviews here for not having checked Trustpilot first. In fairness once I used their online system I received responses and apologies straightaway and they have now delivered the correct tents within a couple of days and an Post has taken back the wrong one. Looking at the reviews here though their organisation needs to get a grip on their packaging and posting. The products are good value but I would never have ordered from them if I had checked here first.

I thought I was beyond being shocked by poor service but decathlon have proved me wrong. We ordered a bike for our daughter's birthday two weeks ago with a confirmed delivery date (not an estimate) five days ago. As of now DHL tracking has deleted all tracking and is just showing "unknown" our daughter's birthday has long been and gone and decathlon and DHL couldn't give one...insert your own...never again and I wish I had read the other reviews here first. Horrible, horrible experience and the worst is we have no idea when or how it ends.

Enquired about an electric bike here. Paid a couple of visits and we were looked after by Rob, Hugh, Ben and the wonderful Alison. We had the best customer service experience you could wish for. They were all happy to spend the time with us to explain everything we needed to know and answered all our questions. We took up a lot of their time but they never made us feel like we needed to hurry up.
We ended up buying 2 e-bikes and left extremely happy. A great team. We will definitely shop here again

I went to Decathlon in Balluymun. When I arrived I picked up the things that I need. I also wanted to buy bicycle lights and i couldn’t find them. The friendly staff helped me. They also helped me with the price of the Tarmak BT500 FIBA approved basketball, as it was not displayed. All products are high quality.

Should have read the reviews before ordering, 4 days later no tracking updates so contacted them to be told there was a problem with my order at the warehouse so my order has been cancelled and that I should get a refund within 3 to 4 days , stay away
