Morning
Morning, order number 564433. Regarding my complaint and request for a refund (following return of the faulty paint), please could you respond to my emails requesting a full refund? This matter has been ongoing now for more than three weeks which is unacceptable. The email trail evidences the faulty paint, via several photos, in addition to the offer of a signed letter from my decorator to confirm the product is not as described. You eventually and reluctantly, following many emails from me, agreed to collect the paint via DPD which took place last week. You are now stating you have not received said paint. DPD have confirmed the paint was delivered to you last week. You are now ignoring my emails for a refund. Please refund me as soon as possible. Thank you x

We are genuinely sorry that you’ve been left feeling ignored throughout this process. This isn’t the experience we want any of our customers to have, and I understand why you’re disappointed with how this has been handled.

Colour match did not match at all
Colour match did not match at all. Best to avoid them at all cost. Showed pictures of the colour being incorrect. They kept going back and forth like robots, with no empathy whatsoever.

Wrong sample
I ordered two samples of wallpaper. When they arrived one was not the colour that I ordered. So I emailed them they apologised and said they would send the correct one out. Waited nearly two weeks it didn't arrive, so I contacted them again. They apologised and said they would send it out again. Two weeks ago and I am still waiting. I will not be buying anything from this company. I ordered paper from another company.

Top Class Service
Ordered my paint 1st October and it was delivered 2nd October now that to me is some service not only that the packaging was exceptional as I have ordered from other online sites and been very disappointed in the state of the paint tin when delivered, this is my first time ordering from DCO and it will not be the last very impressed, the price of the paint was great too couldn't find jonstones aqua guard matt and primer at the price from this top family run company, exceptional work even had a follow up email from them to let me know how much they appreciate me purchasing from them. Love it thanks guys 🙌

Dreadful colour matching service. Unhelpful customer service.
Kept asking for more evidence despite photographs to show difference between requested colour and what I got.

We absolutely want to look into this for you. At the moment, we’re just waiting on a check against the original colour chart. This is an important part of our process and helps us understand whether there’s an issue with the match itself or the original colour.
The photos you’ve provided are really helpful, but they can’t give us that original reference point on their own, which is why we’ve asked for this information.
As soon as we have this, we’ll get it looked into ASAP for you!

Bad colour match and customer service
The colour matching of red paint shades was terrible but the customer service was even worse. They refuse to refund us even with clear photo evidence that the shades are very different to what was requested (literally painted side by side with the tester colour requested both on the wall and on a colour chart) and we are then continually given the run around with requests for more and more evidence. Evasive and avoiding respecting consumer rights for online purchases.

We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience. We understand how frustrating it must have been that you were being asked for further evidence when you had already provided photographs.
The evidence requested is needed to help us get to the bottom of the issue and is also required by the manufacturers when investigating colour-matching concerns, so that we can establish what may have gone wrong and work towards the appropriate resolution.
We will feed this back to our team to ensure we explain more clearly from the beginning exactly what images and information are required, helping to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth.

This was the first time we used doc and…
This was the first time we used doc and were really impressed. So easy to use and place an order. One of the colours we wanted couldn’t be matched and they went to great effort to contact us and resolve the problem so it could be despatched on time. An alternative colour was offered. Very pleased with the excellent customer service. We will definitely use them again.

Faulty Little Greene paint
Ordered Little Greene 2.5ltr tin of paint. It had not been mixed and looked as if I had chucked a load of white paint in it. Sent pictures of this marbled look and then they insisted I return. Im disabled and had to walk with this faulty paint to the nearest collection point. Horrendous.
