terrible service
terrible service paid money, then requested more then they asked more and more documents and couldn't not provide what was needed and was dragged out over 2 weeks. Then told they didn't have the original name change.

Dear Rebecca,
You applied for a copy of an archived deed poll from our archives. We clearly state on the order form that we will only have a copy in our archives if you ordered the original from us and sent it back to us for us to scan and enter into our archives. It turns out you never ordered the original deed poll from us in the first place.
We offered you the opportunity to transfer the money you paid to search our archives towards a replacement deed poll, so you wouldn't have wasted any money. You accepted this offer and paid a further £26. However, it transpires that despite you working in the Looked After Children's Team at Hackney Council, you were unable to provide proof that the council has parental responsibility for the child in question by virtue of a Care Order. We are not willing to issue child deed polls to Looked After Children's Teams if they are unable to provide a Care Order stating the Council has parental responsibility for the child in question.
We then issued you a £26 refund for the deed poll you will no longer be going ahead with.
I am very surprised that someone who works in the safeguarding of children does not seem to value our stringent procedures we have in place to protect children.
