Pathetic service
If I could, I would give no stars. ordered (deliveroo) 6.30pm delivery. I waited till 7.50pm but didn’t get it. deliveroo said that the restaurant gave our food to the wrong rider and was recooking. I called up the restaurant and they said that our order was not in the system and thus they could not recook. On the app, it said that the restaurant had been preparing our food since 5.09pm. A rider has been reassigned 5 times since.
Their management of this incident was to put it quite plainly atrocious. What sort of astronomical issue were they facing to justify this horrific customer service? I would not recommend this restaurant.

Would provide 0 stars if i could. 4 consecutive orders where items were either missing or spilt and the utter joke of deliveroo CS was unable to do anything.
The so called “manager”, Christopher Allen was hopelessly incompetent and was only able to send macros after macros and spiels after spiels and was not able to provide a solution or even email customers the results of the investigations. Problems were clearly listed out in the chat yet they still expect customers to send an email to support instead.
Unsubscribed and will be using other platforms moving forward. Deliveroo is an utter trash of a delivery platform

Ordered pastries from deliveroo for a friend but unfortunately address was wrong. Called restaurant and refund was rejected. Pushed me to deliveroo n likewise same treatment from deliveroo! Left stranded with $50+ order being forfeited! Terrible service!

Raise your hand if you've hand at least 1 bad experience with Deliveroo. Wow, I see so many! Now raise those hands again if you've had at least 2 bad experiences with them. I see the SAME number go up. Now, raise those hands if you've had 5 or more bad experiences (like I have), with this company in the last year or so. That's almost everyone! Deliveroo... the alternative to insomnia and torture, or a rash that won't go away. Recently ordered through their app, from Stuff'd and was disappointed that I had items missing. Firstly, it was my first time back after a long time, as I had stopped using their app, due to their incompetence (missing items, bad service, unfulfilled orders, etc). I was forced to this time as I had to order an item only on their app. When the food came and I discovered items missing, I called Deliveroo only to be patronized by their manager Cris, who used the play book of excuses and set rules that every Deliveroo staff is given. She offered credit, to which I refused, she offered a refund but would only agree to a full refund, as I explained that it had happened most of the time and that they were insinuating I were to blame. She reminded me that the call was was being recorded, which I rejoiced, as I was glad that staff incompetence was being recorded. I would have agreed to the partial refund IF Deliveroo were not so incompetent in their work and shoddy and irresponsible in the way they handled their customer base. So, is Deliveroo trustworthy? A huge DEFINITELY NOT!!!

Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but still idiot service.... watched the driver again drive right past my house, which is on main road with clear precise directions with postcode. To only receive stone cold food again. Deleted the app won't be using them again.
DELIVEROO IS BAD
They got are order wrong twice and I had visitors from turkey coming over to eat dinner and Deliveroo just gave us the wrong order.Not only was it cold and wet, there was bugs in it too.

The worst food delivery service I’ve ever seen. Also not consider the bad reviews and improve the service.

Driver Shouted Sexual Slur - Deliveroo Customer service ghosted me!
I ordered 2 weeks ago from Deliveroo and the driver refused to climb the stairs to my apartment, then tried to tell me that he couldn't find my unit (he obviously just didn't go upstairs). I told him this, and he told me to complain to Deliveroo then. When I said I would complain, he shouted at me as I went up the stairs "SL*T!"
I called Deliveroo immediately, and they seemed initially apologetic, raising the issue to the customer service "Serious Complaints" team. This was two weeks ago and I have followed up twice with no update or response.
Is this how you treat your customers? Simply ghosting them when one of your drivers shouts sexual slurs to young women? I am very afraid that this driver knows my exact address. Not to mention he is most likely still working and delivering food to other young women who live alone. This is absolutely unacceptable!
To anyone reading, just use Grab. Their customer service is much better.

Hi actually I never receive my order, I already contact Deliveroo customer service I don’t think they can help customer to settle all the delivery issue . Delivery man have call me to double confirm my unit number . Apps show food already arrival but I never receive anything. Call back the delivery man no answer phone call . Contact customer service only keep repeat the same things will refund for me 24-48hours ….. keep repeat the same things only then end the chat . But they got help contact the man ? Wrong address or any issue he never on time send my food ? No reason food no more ?
Flawed tech and even more deeply flawed customer-service philosophy
I attempted to make an order on Deliveroo from our favorite Tandoori Restaurant and upon placing the order received the error message: THERE IS A PROBLEM PLACING YOUR ORDER, PLEAST TRY AGAIN IN A FEW MINUTES". I then tried to place the order on GrabFood and the order went through successfully, so I left it at that. To my surprise, after we had finished enjoying the food delivered by Grab, in the subsequent hour another food order was dropped outside our door by Deliveroo. I called Deliveroo and told them what had happened and they refused to a) pick up the food b) give a refund or even c) donate the money and/or the food to a charity. I escalated the case to top management and amazingly EVEN at the highest level of customer service, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and/or make it right. Again, I don't care about the money, but it's unacceptable for a "tech" company to have such a obvious and glaring tech-related consumer-facing error and refuse to own up to it's mistakes. Coming from the tech industry, I know that this means that since they are unwilling to accept their own mistakes, that means they simply lack the required customer-centric mindset that will lead them to systematically improving on their own flawed technology. Of course, I have not used their service since this incident and doubt that I will ever use them again. Tech errors will inevitably happen but to not own up or make things right is evidence of a weak management mentality that is the ROOT CAUSE behind all the dissatisfaction evidences in these reviews.
Never ever use Deliveroo
Never ever use Deliveroo. The food never arrived. Our guests were left with no food the whole day. The rider called a few times in a matter of 6 minutes. When I called back, it said the number was not in use. Deliveroo said "As we were unable to reach you to deliver your order, despite our efforts, you will still be charged." Order Deliveroo food delivery at your own risk.
Buck up on your service and delivery
Buck up on your service and delivery. So many times the order came late / took 4000 years before people have to chat in to cancel the order. Don’t bother giving credits to your consumers when your service is horrible. Nobody will come back and use your credits or vouchers when you failed them multiple times.
Fire your management team and hire the right people to lead. Horrible app and service, a miracle you guys are still surviving.
Terrible service
The app indicated that my order had been delivered but it was not delivered. Placed a reorder and the delivery time kept being moved out. Called Deliveroo to cancel the order and was informed a driver had been assigned and was collecting my order and hence the order could not be cancelled but the status on the app indicated the order was still being prepared. They finally agreed to cancel the order. Called the restaurant to complain and the restaurant said the order was prepared but they were still waiting for a driver to pick it up. Terrible service and recovery from Deliveroo. If there is a shortage of drivers they should be transparent, inform customers and offer customers a choice.

Deliveroo is a conjob. Any missed or unfulfilled orders are not entitled to a refund. Instead, they give you credits (even though you would have had to pay the full amount to the credit card company) and get this..the credits only last 3 months. If they expire, that's it. THEY ARE GONE. Why can't deliveroo offer refunds? This is proper daylight robbery. Honestly, improve or just dont bother running a delivery company, because you guys are really doing a terrible job. I've had too many bad experiences with you. Deleted my app and never coming back.
I ordered
I ordered. They took my money and then did not deliver the food. The delivery rider said I was not home but I was home the whole time. I was told that I was not entitled to a refund or redelivery. Now I am disputing the transaction with the bank.
