Pretty reliable - I have placed > 100 orders I think, only a few have been late or sloppy. I'm not sure always if it's the restaurant to blame or what.
Pro tip: Never order fries from any food delivery app, they always arrive soggy.

I placed an order at 730 pm. At 11 pm the app said delivered but nothing was received. Deliveroo did not help as they said the rider was from the restaurant. Let's hope I get the money back.

I was previously a loyal costumer to deliveroo but after 2 bad experiences I have to give a bad review. A couple weeks ago I placed a takeaway order that never arrived. I contacted live chat who said that the restaurant was closed and that my money would be refunded immediately. I didn't get a refund for over 2 weeks and everytime I contacted deliveroo they said no money had been taken despite me sending screenshots of my online banking showing it had.
Then yesterday I placed a coop delivery order only for them to cancel as all the items were unavailable (seriously) I spoke to online chat who again said no money had been taken but it had. Contacted online chat again today and they again said no money had been taken. So once again down money, no delivery and no idea when or if it'll be refunded. Avoid.
Vouchers can’t be used
I contacted the customer support because the vouchers that were saved on my app couldn’t be used. Her response was to ask to use the website instead because sometimes the vouchers don’t work on the app. Sorry, to me the team needs to improve on the app then, I definitely won’t take the trouble to use the website when I can order from elsewhere. No help at all from the so called “support.”
If restaurants leave you hanging that's your problem
The restaurant I ordered from took 30 minutes to even accept my order. At the 10 minute mark I decided to just pick a different restaurant but apparently Deliveroo does not allow for that. I guess that means they can just leave customers hanging as long as they want to, without them being able to do anything about it. After 25 minutes the live chat button suddenly showed up under help, and an employee informed me that they had now assigned a driver so I could not cancel the order. This is kind of pointless because they hadn't done that 15 minutes earlier and I still couldn't cancel the order. Regardless, I was also informed that restaurants sometimes are too busy to accept the order, they just start preparing it. Another useless answer because that is just speculation and there is no way to know what they were up to, but either way it is on the restaurant to keep the customer and Deliveroo informed of whether they accept an order or not, it's not on the customer to guess at what is going on and about whether it will take 30 minutes or three hours to receive the order.
Furthermore, once the restaurant had taken their sweet time to accept and prepare the order, that driver that was apparently assigned to my order must have disappeared becase then I got a notification saying I had to wait some more because alll their drivers were busy.
So in the end I had to wait a bit over an hour to get my food, having had lots of my time wasted by the restaurant and Deliveroo, without having any control over the process.
Gonna switch to one of their competitors...

I am deliveroo rider.The support team Sxxx big time.simple English also don't understand.A person name Aliya Didnt mange To solve my problem and just ended my order and ended our chat just because less than 1mins from me not responding.
After that I pressed support help again and came a person name Vaibahav, tell him/her what happened and what happened from the other support personnel ,Asked him to call the customer and provide me unit number as order had been mark delivered by his colleague preiously.He said he called the customer but the unit he gave me was wrong meaning he didn't even contact the customer at all. I believe deliveroo can hired more experience, talented and most importantly with integrity people.

2 hours delivery
My delivery took more than 2 hours to arrive. Upon ordering, the app said it would take between 50 minutes to an 1 hour to do so. As expected when food arrived, it was cold. Customer service extremely robotic. It was the first time that I tried Deliveroo in SG and it shall be the last time ever using this app. Could have just took a walk bought the food myself and it would have taken me 1 hour at tops. 2 hours delivery is just not acceptable.

unscrupulous behaviour
I placed an order in mid may which arrived over an hour late and spoiled. I complained and was offered a credit which I accepted . however when I tried to use the voucher I was unable to do so and contacted deliveroo by phone to find out why. I was told to email the support team which I did and they replied that I had breached terms and my account was suspended ! I have called and mailed and gone via Twitter to try and establish precisely what I have done but I am just told I am in breach and suspended ! it looks like the credit was a way to get me off the phone but the company had no intention of ever letting me use it. this was my first ever order so I am not a serial complainer !!

just thought i would update everybody that deliveroo have still not responded to my two e-mails regarding missing food sat 29-5-21, despite receiving e-mails from them they would get back to me within 24 hours. now 96hrs. what a joke. absolute disgrace and quite frankly stolen my £13.
Hi. I received a generous credit 5 days later, but would rather have had a refund for missing item as I do not intend to use Deliveroo again as I will not risk getting an incomplete order again a ruining a social evening with friends

Deliveroo has terrible customer service.
I ordered items from a supermarket. One of them was a packet of fresh fruits which arrived rotten. I took photos and submitted to deliveroo, requesting for a refund.
Deliveroo ignored the email completely. I waited for one week (the usual business SOP 3-5 working days) and there was still no reply. Their website does not offer you a hotline number to call. I had to google for the number.
Only after that call did I receive an email notification from deliveroo that the money would be refunded.
However, the disappointing episode did not end here.
Instead of refunding me the amount that was stated in the email, only a portion of it was refunded to my credit card bill.
I went to my app and discovered that Deliveroo has quietly refunded the remaining portion into my account as credit. Deliveroo did not inform me about this credit. This credit has a near expiry date. It also has many conditons, one of which stating that I have to fork out at least another $20 in order to redeem the credit, and it was only valid for the supermarket which gave me rotten fruits.
Essentially, Deliveroo displayed many counts where integrity is questionable.
The money that should have been refunded to me was claimed back from the supermarket. Instead of returning me the full sum, Deliveroo retained a portion of it. It did not inform me that I had credits in my account. Once expired, the credits would have been invalid and Deliveroo would have happily pocketed my money.
Also, it is incredulous that Deliveroo expected the customer to fork out more money in a supermarket that has let them down.
I emailed Deliveroo and sought clarification on the observations. The email reply came after a long time. They skirted the topic and coldly stated the company’s policy.
They did not explain why I was not informed of the credit which had a near expiry date, neither did they explain the condition of forcing me to re-order from the same supermarket which gave me rotten items. Most of all, it was not explained why I was forced to fork out more money in order to claim for full refund of a rotten item received.
Deliveroo’s Facebook platform and official website do not allow customer reviews, and with such poor service, it’s clear why this is so.
Deliveroo either has underestimated their competitors or feel that their customers do not deserve better.

I wanted to provide a review to a restaurant and I looked in the Deliveroo app’s Home page, Restaurant page, Restaurant Infor page and My Order page. There is nowhere for me to rate the restaurant and provide my review. So I’m curious how can I trust the ratings I see on the app. I went to Live Chat and each customer service agent was eager to drop off my call. They told me this page or that and I’ve tried it all, none has a place for me to rate and review. Before I finished trying, they would have ended the chat on me. Really frustrating experience. Not inspiring trust at all of the ratings I see in this app now.
No refund when it's the restaurant fault
2 orders with wrong items (one from matchaya and 1 from toast box) and no refund (both with picture evidence provided). Deliveroo is fraud that doesn't care about its customer. Food panda and grab would immediately refund if there is a wrong item, unfortunately deliveroo does not work with the same sort of integrity.
Terrible company not worth one star
Terrible company not worth one star. Waited for two hours for delivery, then to be told order delivered. Our food had not been delivered at all. Phoned KFC and they informed us that the driver had picked up this order 3 times and not reached us. They gave us our meal the next day which was so good of them. On picking our order up they informed us that they'd had several problems with deliveroo the night before. We were left fuming and hungry, eventually we got our money back. My advise, avoid Deliveroo.
Worst service
We had very worst experience with deliveroo. We ordered food but not delivered then we tried too many ways to them for refund. They won’t bother about it. Just informed your order is delivered so we can’t do anything. They won’t check with the restaurant. So please aware of it. Without delivery they informed its delivered. Then we can’t do anything.

I placed an order today a few minutes after 2pm. The timing indicated was 50 to 80 min, which i thought was long. However, lo and behold, the timing kept extending and the last time i checked the estimated arrival time was 3.40 to 4.10pm. I was tracking the status and the problem is a lack of drivers. If you have used the help on the app,you know how uselesd it was if you click "where is my order". I chose i want to cancel order and was led to live chat. The first person that "helped" me was jayson. He told me the food was only 8 min away. The next thing I knew was that i received a message that my order was cancelled. Shouldnt he confirm with me if i indeed want to go ahead and cancel? He didnt tell me in the chat that he was going to cancel it, just the update that the food was 8 min away. The second live chat person Prashant was equally unhelpful and would only hide behind the automatically generated phrases that Deliveroo prepares.
Compared to Grab and Foodpanda, the delivery time of Deliveroo leaves much room to be desired. I have cancelled my subscription plan with Deliveroo Plus and will avoid using them. This is not my first time of bad exprience. Enough is enough. User beware!
Reckless Deliveroo Riders
Deliveroo cyclists ride recklessly on a pavement in a dangerous, careless or inconsiderate manner. And unfortunately, pedestrians tend to suffer the worst consequences when they involve in a crash. I managed to protect myself many times. When I walk on the pavement or run, a speedy rider turns up and most of the time they hardly stopped their bikes. Do I have to feel uncomfortable when I walk in the street all the time? I also have complaints about the riders who ride along the towpath with a high speed in the dark. It is very dangerous for pedestrians, these guys need registration plates and checks should be made with cctv!!
I live in Old Street, Hoxton area, and I always see the riders leave their leftover foods on the street. (Vietnamese restaurants area) Deliveroo please train your employees!!
