Diecast Model Centre is a family owned and operated online model shop based in Somerset (UK) that was established in 2005.
At Diecast Model Centre, we believe that collecting models or giving them as gifts doesn't have to be expensive and in line that our core values are to offer our customers models of exceptional value and to provide a first-class shopping experience.
On our website you'll find all kinds of models not sold by many other retailers; models from brands you may have heard of such as Bburago, Maisto, Oxford Diecast and Solido, and from brands you may not have heard of such as Cararama, Model Car Group, Motormax and Welly.
We aim to make buying from us easy and enjoyable. Our online store is designed to be customer friendly, but should you have any queries either before, during or after making your purchase, we're here to help, either by email, phone or if you prefer, self-help with our comprehensive FAQ's.

A long time wait for the item and not cheap...... But happy when it arrived.

Thank you for your review and it's good to hear that you are happy with your model. However, I would just like to address the negative points that you have mentioned.
The wait! As was shown on our website and through the ordering process, this particular model was a pre-order item that the manufacturer had not yet released. When you placed your order in January, we were quoting the manufacturer's expected release date as being April. As soon as the manufacturer released the item and we recieved it from them, we despatched it to you straight away; the despatch date being the 1st of April.
Not cheap! We always aim to give great value and most pre-orders are available with an early-bird discount as on your particular item which was discounted by 17% (£6) from the RRP which was not only an excellent price at the time but remains cheaper than any others that I can see currently for sale, in some cases £12 cheaper.
I am sorry that we did not meet up with your expectations, but thank you for your business.

Excellent delivery times
Excellent delivery times , very good price easy negotiation of Web site . My only slight disappointment was the fact that the model has no wing mirrors, other than that splendid.

We have sold dozens of this particular casting and have not had any issues thus far, so can only assume that this is a very rare occurrence. Superb service, from begining to end
After finding the model we wanted, the whole process ran smoothly. Ordering was simple and the communication from then to delivery, a few days later, was excellent. The item arrived on time and exactly as we had hoped for.
