Disappointed by their service
Disappointed by their service. I used a solicitors firm that was recommended by Easi Drive who rude and behaved like bullies in a no win no claim case. I have had threatening emails from the firm in question and have raised that with Easi drive almost 3 weeks later no reply or acknowledgement. I have emailed twice and called twice and they haven’t bothered to reach out to me. I would advise to not go with a solicitors firm called Thorneycroft Solicitors recommended by Easi Drive.

I gave my car to easi drive which they gave to their ‘5*garage’ for repairs. Once the car was returned, I found that the drivers seat has been ripped which they tried covering with a plastic cover & there was electric faults on the dash. I went down to the office to try and resolve this issue but they kept denying it was their fault. I also send before pictures of how the car was and they still believe it wasn’t their fault. I had to repeat the same story 10+ times to different agents who had no clue what was going on and kept transferring me to a ‘manager’. They lied about the seat not being their fault but took liability later on and in the final word letter they sent me, they said that it’s wear & tear. I would not recommend using this company as it’s a joke. Save yourself the time and effort

Please avoid this company.. they are a credit hire company which they didn't disclose.. they are extremely intrusive and rude.. they ask ridiculous questions which are not relevant.. they wasted hours of my time with question after question.. I had a clear non fault accisident.. they left me on the phone for hours.. fake promises of call backs., told several times was with a manager only to be told it was still with a file handler I was passed from pillar to post.. asking very very intrusive question.. best thing any one could do is avoid this company as soon as you can..

Enjoyable no hassle experience
A very clean, impressive courtesy car was personally delivered to my home with in-depth advice that I would need to use it. Staff even responded to a text later that evening with a further question I had regarding driving the specific make and model. Staff were always further on hand throughout the long period of time I required the car and made it very easy for me to drop the car off once repairs to my vehicle were complete. A thoroughly enjoyable no hassle experience.

This is the second time I have used…
This is the second time I have used EasiDrive after two drivers used me as target practice! I was referred by a friend of mine and the worry and stress was completely taken away from me by this Company. Apart from a little form filling and photo taking there was little to do and I felt the updates I received were excellent. I would definitely use EasiDrive again however hopefully I won't need to!

Very good but not perfect
Very good service. I was loaned a beautiful BMW to drive whilst my beloved VW was being repaired. I have to knock off one star for the car arriving with a slow puncture, which was a real nuisance to sort out but other than that I have no complaints, the staff were very friendly and helpful and my car was returned to me in perfect and immaculate condition.

I have a lot to add but perhaps not for now...... my hire car was due for collection at the height of the fuel crisis so, even though I had the quarter of a tank that was required to return the vehicle I went and queued for ages to put more in to ensure the driver got back home and when I advised them of this they barely acknowledged a thank you so no chance an offer to pay back after me driving out of my way to collect the driver due to the atrocious weather!!

I have returned the hire vehicle and they are reluctant to confirm it by email. What is the rationale behind it ?
To summarise the story - someone bumped into my car, post inspection my car was take to garage for repair. Yesterday Garage team called me to return the hire car to them and pick up my car. I followed and dropped an email to Easy Drive with the pictures and address of the location where I returned the hired car vehicle. No response on my email. I called the customer service to ask to acknowledge my email they refused to do that. The person said he is confirming it orally..... Seriously! Happy to provide further details upon request.

Awful company. Do not use. Was involved in a non fault accident December 2020. November 2021 and vehicle still not repaired and dispute ongoing. Easidrive have been terrible from start to finish and the complaints procedure is a farce. Insurance company arranged Easidrive to manage the repairs and hire vehicle. Massive delay - weeks in the hire vehicle and the damaged vehicle being taken away for repairs. (camper van). Despite requesting a specialist garage carrying out repairs- was repaired by a company not a specialist and quality of repair was terrible- including claiming to have changed a wheel (point of impact) when they had not.- suspect Easidrive went for the cheapest quote!!
We tried to resolve the issue with easidrive who gave a final response without trying to resolve. I had to pay for a vehicle examiner report to send to easidrive at my expense before they considered rectifying repairs!
In the mean time whilst driving the van - we had a catasteophic tyre failure with the full family on bord- on the tyre that wasnt replaced!!
Months of arguing on the phone eventually led to repairs being agreed around June -with easidrive reassuring us compensation for the issues would then be addressed. Eventually were given a replacement van. (workers combi van- cheers!!)
Repairs were eventually completed (ish) 10 months after acident- and the INTERNAL BED/REAR SEATS of van now DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR…. and no one taking responsibilty for it. Also easidrive now saying its up to another company- the motor repair network to be approached to resolve the issue of repairing the bed, and any compensation - for loss of earnings- as they are not responsible. (due to the hours spent chasing and holding easidrive to account) claiming back money for paying for independent vehicle examiners, and the fact that this has possibly been the most stressful 10 months of our lives!! (would rather move house again!!)
NEVER USE THESE IF INSURANCE COMPANY SUGGESTS!!!

Awful, stressful experience, harassing phone calls
My experience with Easidrive has been horrendous. My insurance company let them handle my hire vehicle after I was in a not at fault accident. That was in July and I’ve only just got my vehicle back. On 3 separate occasions Easidrive have called me out of the blue to ask me to return the vehicle on the same day despite my car not being in a drive able condition and repair work not having been finished by the garage. In September a manager agreed to extend the hire after an incredibly stressful few days where Easidrive talked the repair garage into returning my car to me unfinished and then called me stating that I would need to return the hire vehicle. Then at the beginning of October another manager reversed that decision and called me out of the blue saying I’d need to return the hire vehicle as the hire should not have been extended. I spent the day panicking again as I was about to be left with a vehicle with no MOT, unfinished repairs which included a faulty warning system and I had just put a full tank of fuel in the hire vehicle which I was about to lose. At the end of the day another manager called and said all of a sudden that I could keep the vehicle until mine was completely repaired. Today has been the last straw. It is a Tuesday afternoon and I have a full time job and two children. Easidrive have called me, 3 times in a row. At 15.38,15.39 and 15.40. They haven’t left messages, nor have they waited and tried again, considering that I might be busy. They have harassed me until I picked up so that they can arrange collection of the hire vehicle. The lady on the phone had no clue why I was frustrated, nor did she seem to recognise that if someone doesn’t pick up the first time you don’t call them over and over and over again as it might not be a convenient time. Customer service has been appalling and it has been the most stressful experience ever. I am looking forward to handing back the vehicle tomorrow and hopefully being done with them. If you have a choice - don’t use them. If your insurance company puts you on to them ask for someone else. I have already informed my insurance company of their shocking service and that I won’t be using them again should I be in the unfortunate situation to ever need a hire vehicle in the future.
