We are so happy with our installation, the two Engineers were a really nice pair. The work is lovely.

I had two old up and over garage doors replaced yesterday with two new electric roller doors and the guys that installed them Barry and Simon were great very neat and tidy and the doors look really good. I would not hesitate in recommending Eastern Garage doors.

Our fitters arrived very promptly, helpful and polite. Doors fitted within the time expected. Very clean and tidy. Very pleased with the installation.

We wanted to replace 2 single, manual, garage doors with 2 electric, roller doors. The gentleman who visited us to sort out what we wanted and provide a quote was professional and helpful. We were kept informed about installation. When there was a small hiccup with the electric sockets not being installed on time this was quickly resolved by the office staff and installation team with only a days delay. The install team were efficient and kept us fully updated during the install. They explained that they needed to come back to seal the doors to ensure the correct colour sealant was used (as we had a special order for the colour of the doors) and also to fix a small gap as our garage floor wasn’t level. This was done in a timely manner and to a high standard. There was a set procedure for us to hold back a small amount of the invoice until this was done and, again, this was handled efficiently by the office team. We are very happy with the doors and all interactions we had with various members of the team. In anything like this there are always small hiccups and how they are resolved is key.

The initial impression of Southern doors Ltd (part of the Eastern Group) was good and installation went well.

The metal garage doors were installed on the 4th March at approx cost of £2.5k.

They initially looked great but within 8 weeks they started to rust, initially Southern doors were helpful and spoke to the manufacturer I was then informed that because we lived near the coast it was to be expected and was down to "oxidisation".

I should clean the doors. The doors have been cleaned regularly but sadly the rust is bubbling thru they have now been installed for 9 weeks and Southern doors are not going to do anything.

I will be seeking legal direction.
I will avoid this company in future.

I would just like to report that Southern doors have now replaced my doors.
They have also taken steps to ensure that the same mistakes are not made in the future.

The first installer refused to do the job as there were some things in the garage in the way, people working on the house offered to shift them but he just drove off forcing us to pay an additional £200 for a failed install. The people working at the house took about 5 minutes to move things, but the installer refused to come back. No attempt was made to contact me through this, except to tell me I'd be charged the extra £200. We'd cancelled a concrete pour on-site to accommodate them. The second installer did the job, but didn't put enough sealant around the door, so we had to call them back to redo it. This meant I had to take 2 times off work to be there. Door itself is fine now.
In reply to their reply. It is an active building site!!! It took 5 mins to clear after the installer arrived, but your guy came early and ran away as quick as he could as soon as they saw an issue, not waiting, made no attempt to contact me and lied about people being unwilling to move things. All of this you know as I've messaged about it. We've now discovered damaged electrical wiring in the garage where no one but your people were working.

Highly recommended.
From quote to installation, only 3 weeks as needed the electric garage door installed quickly before other building works could commence. Not a problem.

Excellent service from start to finish. Quality of workmanship on installation was excellent. It was not the cheapest quote I got, but I definitely got what I paid for. Very pleased with our new garage door!

I have used Eastern Garages Doors (EGD) twice now - once for a new garage door on a house renovation and most recently for a Hormann garage door and front door on a new build house.
Both times every part of the process has been excellent - from first contact, to site survey, to installation. Communication was timely, consistent and accurate and prices were great too.
If only all companies could be like this....

I was given a quote and everything was explained to me.
I was kept informed as to the date of installation and any delays there may have been.
On the day of installation the guy fitted it all very well and cleared up after himself. He showed me how it all worked. I was very happy with the finished product. Would highly recommend eastern garage doors.

We had an excellent experience dealing with Eastern Garage Doors from our fist telephone call through to installation. Clear explanation from the surveyor on what was available to suit our needs. The installation team were tidy and polite. Very happy with our new garage doors and would highly recommend using this company.

Recently I had a new side hinged garage door installed by Eastern Garage Doors.
I had to wait a long time for it because of the pandemic but it was worth it.
New door a bit expensive but the quality, colour and looks are great.
Installers were here on time and done a very quick, neat and tidy job.
