First time (and last time) eBluejay buyer
First time (and last time) buyer from eBluejay and I recently purchased a DVD from seller superconnie, the item was indicated as currently available. Since I was a first time buyer, I did a screen shot/print screen of each phase of my purchase as to have a documented record of that purchase, the first screen shot was of the original seller’s page for the DVD, after completing the transaction, I took another screen shot for my receipt of payment through eBluejay and my PayPal proof of purchase receipt and followed up with another screen shot of the sellers item page once again for that DVD which then indicated that the item was “SOLD”.
I didn’t receive any email notification verifying my purchase from the seller or eBluejay, so I emailed the seller (with attachments showing my receipts) which I might add the seller has 2 different email addresses; I sent 2 emails, one email to each email addresses. The only response from the eBluejay seller superconnie was an email notification of a REFUND and it read, “you were refunded for this dvd is gone”. I curious, either 1) The listing was incorrect, or 2) The seller gave a refund in order to repost the DVD at a higher selling price. (This DVD is OOP, relisting would ensure to increase their profit). I’ve seen this scenario play out before on eBay. This eBluejay purchase was a very bad experience indeed. LET THE BUYER BEWARE.
Won't cancel my account. Won't respond. Dump eBlujay if you can.
I found that references to my account and yours are indexed on Google and likely others. Anyone on the Internet can browse these private portions of their site. I have asked 3 times now to cancel my account and it's pure crickets. No response whatsoever.
No sales over a year
I have had an account with Ebluejay.com now for over a year and have not sold one thing. I don't know if the site just does not promote itself or I submitted hundreds of items for nothing. Big waste of time. Stick with another site to sell.

People seem to have the same problem I did when signing up and sending email through eBluejay.
I found out that you can send email through their site. However, you will need to go to the email you used to signed up with such as gmail, yahoo, outlook etc... to get an answers to the email you sent. The owners of eBluejay are very good at sending a quick response back to you (at the email you signed up with for eBluejay).
If you want to register to sell on eBluejay.com, fill in the information it asks for. You will not be able to change your store name or the email address you register with.
Only if you have a SELLER account, you can go to the very bottom of your site page and click on CONTACT to email the owners about your issues. You will not be able to contact them if you do not have a Seller account. When you send the email, you will not be able to go to your messages box on your site to get the response to your email. You have to go to your email that you registered with to get their response to your mail. It seems as if the messages on the site are used only for the buyers and sellers to communicate with each other.
Don't bother
Don't bother! And here's why:
The following email I prepared to send to them via their online contact form, voicing my concern, instead of just leaving and never returning, because I care, but after I clicked SEND button it told me to login.. so how can I log in if I did not receive the confirmation email in the first place, which means I am unable to login. This is so stupid, don't bother even going to their website.
I registered but confirmation email did not arrive or was deleted from spam folder. Why is there no "RESEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL" feature? My other concern is, when I register as a seller, what happens if all the buyers do not receive the confirmation emails as well? I simply be wasting my time. This is what may prevent people from registering as sellers and as buyers. I see many people post this in their reviews online, but your site does not seem to have taken care of this issue. I will not register as a seller until you repair this problem and confirm to me via email. Thank you. Regards, Tom

Cant provide an indepth review because I cannot seem to get registered there. Tried the email signup process twice and each time it would not validate my sign in. Oh well, looked promising but clearly the admin has some coding issues. Site should not be made live until it is tested adn working properly.
Thanks to Ebluejay
Thanks to Ebluejay. This store owner was deleted.
But this is not a solution for me, because it may open a new store.
For myself, the solution I see is to put watermarks on all the photos, an image with the name of my shop and authorship.
In my opinion it is nice to have reviews on every seller page. Then those things will stop.
I set up an account but couldn't access…
I set up an account but couldn't access since verification email went to SPAM. Once I remembered to look in SPAM, I was able to actually use the site. eBluejay needs to change their site so that login is not required for questions. If I am having a problem logging into the site, I probably need to be able to contact you without logging in!!!!!!
My low rating for eBluejay (EBJ) is…
My low rating for eBluejay (EBJ) is ONLY for the lack of response. I started selling on Blujay years ago and have been with EBJ since the beginning. I am frustrated as a Seller because I know several Buyers have tried to open accounts so they can BUY. Some have contacted me directly and we've had to work outside the EBJ system. It appears that people can't get the authentication email required to open an account. I tried to open an account for one of my customers using one of my email addresses. The Authentication email ended up in SPAM. I was able to at least get an account opened, However, I can NOT get the system to change the email I used to my customers email.
I have helped with the system and have had great communication with the developer - key word here is HAD. I've sent Several emails to him and have NOT heard back. Not Good.
My actual Overall Review of EBJ is FIVE STARS, when the system allows you to do the things it's suppose to. There are things I don't like and hopefully they will be fixed. Here are a few of them.
1. An items sells - however the system shows it's still Available. We used to in BJ be able to mark an item SOLD. That function sadly went away.
2. Buyers no longer have a "choice" of payment - the Only thing that shows up is PayPal. I'm not giving PayPal my SSN; DL etc. and would prefer to Never have to deal with them again.
3. When sellers offer discounts i.e. Combined Shipping Discounts or Sales you can only change the "Total", you don't have the ability to show what the discount is for. In the old BJ you could and it made for much less work.
Back to the current issues: I can't afford to not have new buyers be able to purchase items. Sadly I'm afraid I'm going to have to look for another venue for selling my Out Of Print Arabian Horse Publications. I can only Hope that EBJ fixes the communications issues. I've had over 600 sales and I LOVE this site when it's working like we were used to. Hope it gets fixed SOON
I am a seller Ebluejay is great because Paypal is here and they made sure customer and seller are satisfied.
I am a seller Ebluejay is great because they only charge you S10.00 the rest of your life. and you can post a lot of things from baby stuff, Hair stuff, and a lot more, facebook is also free but you can't post everything, Let Go website its local but they only let you post one time after that you have to pay, ebay, and the rest of the marketplace you have to pay every month. Honestly speaking I can't afford to pay every month so I am very happy with this website because paypal is on it and I know that paypal if you have complaint example your order did not arrive or you been over charge they will handle it very professional manner. Of course I want assurance with my money thats why paypal is there so there's no way that there are scammers in here because I am sure they will be band or go to jail.
Can't get confirmed. Cant contact them without being confirmed.
Same as below. Tried two emails on two separate service one with no spam filter. Cannot get confirmation. Cannot contact them without confirming and logging on. Cannot buy the item I found. :-(
One time fee
One time fee - aka verification fee is not $10 it's $20!
Unable to open new BUYER account...you are losing customers!
ACCOUNT CAN NOT BE OPENED - I HAVE TRIED 10 TIMES NOW, NO EMAILS EVER SENT. USED A VARIETY OF EMAILS, NO LUCK. HOW CAN I BUY IF I CAN'T OPEN AN ACCOUNT?????/
eBluejay good; individual scamming sellers are on all sites...
I just started selling on eBluejay and find it efficient. I had only one sale so far, but just started putting up my listings. I've sold on eBay, eBid, Etsy and eCrater. Happy to pay $10 to be on eBluejay as a one-time fee and no commissions taken from them. People who complain about scammers are either plants to smear this and other selling sites, or simply, as already has been stated by others, been victims of individual no-goodnik sellers who are on every other venue, too. eBlujay has no control over scamming sellers; but if you have an issue, contact PayPal - that's what they are there to do: protect buyers from scammers and vice-versa. Bad reviews sounds like sour grapes to me.
I'm a new seller on eblujay and find …
I'm a new seller on eblujay and find the platform the easiest to use of any online market place. Though I have not sold much yet, my listings are indexed quickly by google and show up near the top (and some times 1st) on the search results. I hopeful to start selling soon because I would rather use this site exclusively because of ease of use. Most of the complaints I've read on line are related to issues with sellers.
eBluejay is no different then eBay
eBluejay is no different then eBay, Amazon, etc., they all have bad apple sellers. You need to do your homework on the seller, contact them, ask questions. I sell over most all the eCommerce sites, and see no difference. The sellers are far more scammed then the buyers, there are just to few who speaks out. I see the site improving greatly, very easy to list, and navigate. Paypal is offered as a payment option, and there are none far better for buyer protection, than they are. I give eBluejay five stars!
LOL>................
LOL>................. This site is Broken I added/attempted to purchase; #3926154 Stake Side Kit for 5 x 8 Trailers - Red but the PayPal link on the pay page is broken!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
The error message is:
Paypal
Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later."
Tried this in multiple browsers IE & Chrome
There is no other method to pay so the item is left in an Unpaid status. I've sent emails tweeted them nooooooo response.
''1986 Cobra Night Raven S3P Black Jet Spy Plane Vehicle''
''DNAtoys very helpful /prompted.Placed the order.Sent payment via PayPal,and then Immediately the next day, notified by the Ebluejay vendor,my order is on its way.How about that!''
Don't say you weren't warned
Don't shop here. There is no customer service. When I inquired about the status of my order, I was told to contact the supplier; I did but after a few days I still have no response. Beware!
I don't think they want your business
registered, they say an email was sent but i got nothing. you can't buy unless your registered, you can't even contact them for help unless you're registered. well I registered and it got me nowhere. Guess they don't want my business.
