B97256243 not showing the rental company is the key point here. EconomyBookings is the booking platform, and on some offers the supplier name only appears once the reservation is fully confirmed; a few deals are also assigned based on availability for the dates and location. If it still isn’t showing in your confirmation, do get in touch through the Help Center with the booking number so the team can check which supplier was assigned.

Reserva confirmada de un convertible
Reserva confirmada de un convertible, pero al llegar no había ninguno
Reservé y pagué anticipadamente mediante EconomyBookings un Ford Mustang Convertible o similar con Midway Car Rental en LAX, para el 12 de septiembre de 2026.
Llegué en la fecha y hora acordadas con una reserva confirmada, pero Midway no tenía ningún convertible disponible. Me ofrecieron un vehículo de categoría inferior, que no correspondía a lo que había contratado.
No cancelé ni llegué tarde. El problema fue simplemente que la categoría reservada y confirmada no estaba disponible.
Como consecuencia, tuve que buscar otra solución y finalmente arrendar un automóvil con Alamo, perdiendo tiempo y generándome molestias y costos adicionales.
EconomyBookings confirmó y cobró la reserva, mientras que Midway era responsable de entregar el vehículo. Como cliente, considero que una reserva confirmada debería significar que la categoría contratada estará efectivamente disponible.
He solicitado la devolución íntegra del prepago y una respuesta formal.

A confirmed Ford Mustang Convertible booking at LAX, then only a lower category being offered by Midway, is a frustrating thing to run into. A reservation for “or similar” doesn’t lock in that exact Mustang, but it should still be met with the booked convertible class, not something below it.
Because the car wasn’t available at pickup, that’s something we’d expect the supplier side to account for. If this is still unresolved, do drop a line to community@bookinggroup.com with your booking number, the LAX confirmation, what Midway offered at the desk, and the Alamo receipt. The team can look at it against the booking terms.

No recomiendo utilizar intermediarios…
No recomiendo utilizar intermediarios como economybooking, para alquilar coches en nombre de otra empresa. Me han cobrado 20 € por la gestión, que en ningún sitio específica que seria el importe del alquiler mas dicha comisión. Es la primera vez que me pasa y ante la impotencia, solo me queda que advertir lo que os puede pasar. Que tenga tan buenas reseñas y nadie se queje, me extraña mucho.

A €20 management fee that only became clear once you were already at checkout is exactly the sort of detail that leaves people feeling caught out. With intermediary bookings, the rental price and any service commission are meant to be shown separately before you confirm, so the full amount should be visible up front. If that split wasn’t obvious on your booking, that’s a fair point to raise. If you’d like it checked against the reservation, our support team through the Help Center can review the confirmation details.
