It was quick and easy to access the Ecotalk website and purchase my SIMs. When I needed support to activate the SIMs, it was straightforward to contact customer services and my query was dealt with promptly. The SIM activation process was very convenient and the timescale and process was as anticipated based on the advice provided by Ecotalk.

It was a smooth transition from a contract with EE to a pay as you go eSIM with Ecotalk so much so I barely noticed the change over.
The reason behind my change was I didn't need a new handset, didn't want to get tied to yet another contract and wanted to do my bit for nature. On the tech side Ecotalk piggy back EE's infrastructure so you get great coverage. Win win.

This is how mobile providers should be! Amazing coverage, amazing cost, amazing customer service that has been the quickest and most helpful of all the providers I have been with before!

I love this company. I have never yet lost signal yet with Tesco or Sky it was awful. The customer service is really good. The best part when you ring them is if you are put on hold. No awful music, just the beautiful sounds of birds tweeting away.

It was quite a smooth change over from my previous provider.
My only issue is EE who provide the network are sponsoring the Reform conference (?) Which doesn't match the EcoTalk ethos.

Ecotalk is amazing! As someone who has just had the dull same phone provider for years, this is a real breath of fresh air. Seamless switch. Wildlife updates emailed into your inbox. And a lovely website, which plays a rather beautiful blackbird song as you browse.

Customer of a few years, and swift response and resolution when a recent phone change resulted in me losing my data connectivity. Emailed, and the following day I had two potential resolutions through; the first one did the job.

Love that Ecotalk reinvests its profits into restoring and protecting Britain’s natural world. Imagine if everything we paid for did such community-forward things with their profits! We'd live in a much cleaner and future-proofed world.

The thing that gives Ecotalk the five stars is simple. Speaking to a human is so easy. If you need help out of hours you just need to wait the next day or send them an email and they’ll sort it all out ASAP.

Can’t see myself leaving Ecotalk anytime soon. It’s also great to know UK taxes are being paid and profits are being put to important work. I hope it always stays like this.

I've been on a good network with my previous provider EE for 14 years. I'll admit I was dubious about switching to Ecotalk in case the connection did not live up to my expectations. But I'm glad I did – the service is just as good as what I had before, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing that profits go towards nature projects makes all the difference.
Chris Packham's involvement as a consultant shows they're serious about their environmental mission, and I love that my subscription payments are supporting real conservation work while I stay connected.
I've also been impressed with their customer service – helpful and quick to respond whenever I've needed them. The contract terms are refreshingly straightforward: a simple one-month rolling agreement that renews until I cancel it. No lock-in periods, and crucially, no in-contract price increases. What I pay today is what I'll pay tomorrow – the price is locked in.
If I ever wanted to leave, I could walk away within a month with no fuss. Other providers often have retention departments with terms that feel urgent and confusing, leaving you feeling pressured. Eco Talk is the opposite – no haggling, no pressure.
Easy, transparent, ethical. What a difference!

I love Ecotalk, although there was a slight hitch with transferring my old number and getting going, customer services were very helpful and responsive. The fact that you can combine paying for a service and helping nature makes me very happy. Keep up the good work Ecotalk.

Super easy switch from O2 and lower bills to boot. Ask yourself if you need 'perks' you never use, and sponsorship of sports you don't care for, or if you'd prefer to see your money go to rewinding the UK?
