The interface between administrators and clients who use it is easy to use and the data analytics and line by line audit feature helps us measure productivity. Our clients love it too, because they can simply drag and drop files when sharing instead of relying on emails.
Excellence with Ease
I had a great experience with Egress. I needed access to a couple of old documents. They gave direct instruction on how to request access. When I tried that and received an error message, they explained the problem (the documents were over 90 days) and gave me guidance on how to obtain the documents. I did and received exactly what I needed. What impressed me was the prompt communication. When I forgot about my requests, they followed up until my matter was resolved. They were patient and kind. Also, the website is secure and easy to use.

Egress Support
I recently had a frustrating experience with the support team regarding a query I opened. It took three months to resolve the initial issue, which significantly impacted my ability to do my job accurately.
After a system update, I encountered issues and reached out multiple times. While the support team was always polite and responsive, they only informed me that they were aware of the problem, with no clear timeline for resolution.
What was particularly disappointing was the lack of communication; I found out the problem was resolved by accident, rather than receiving any notification from the team. .
Although I appreciate the team's courteous communication, the delays and lack of proactive updates made this experience quite problematic. I hope to see improvements in their communication and resolution processes in the future.

Egress not to big to admit an error
In my most recent contact I was frustrated as the problem I thought had been resolved had created another problem. However when I contacted Egress and explained the new problem they accepted that it was down to an error on their part. Immediately a manager was informed and the problem was dealt with and it does seem to be completely sorted now. I was pleased that they didn't try to avoid taking responsibility. That was refreshing.

I started from a base level of no knowledge at all about egress but I had to use it because one of my service providers required it as an option for secure communication. Took a bit of time to chat with the bot before I got on to an agent and thereafter he led me through it and I was able to master its use. I marked it 4 star becausse when I got to the agent, he was very helpful and understanding but until then there was not a clear simple set of instructions for non savvy new users with scant tech knowhow. But I got there and thanks to the help desk
