Learning from Emily and being beneath her tutelage is not only a supreme privilege but truly an honour! Emily is not only kind, insightful and patient but deeply knowledgeable. This mentorship is incredibly thorough and accessible. For an industry that can be precarious and seem inaccessible, Emily’s program is a shining beacon. Not only will you be shown the ropes but you will have a first row seat into what it takes to become a high calibre stylist. This is one of the best things I have done in my life.

Learning from Emily gave me an amazing insight to the role of a fashion stylist. There was so much valuable information that she shared throughout the week. It was extremely beneficial to see what the day to day life of a stylist is like before commuting to this career. Emily was happy to answer any questions and gave an in depth explanation to each part of the job. I also love how she continues to be there for you even after you have completed the course. An inspiring experience!

I had a very disappointing experience with the fashion mentorship training I took in October last year. I feel that I am no better than before the training which was not cheap. To me I seemed to spend most of the two weeks as an unpaid employee which is not what I expected. If I could wind back time knowing what I know now I would not have taken the training. As part of the course I was promised a photo shoot as part of the course but there wasn’t enough time. To be fair I have been offered the photo shoot after 5 months but it’s late coming and have now lost all interest.

Shadowing and learning from Emily and Alfred was an amazing experience not many people come across. Emily was generous with her time and hosting a week packed with so much critical information needed to work towards becoming a stylist. After my first 5-day mentorship I knew I wanted to come back to top up my knowledge and complete the 10-day experience. Emily and Alfred have been present and open to any questions I had to extent my experience. They have helped direct my ambitions to become a stylist and and shown me the best path for me to take. I will forever be grateful for the experience they have offered me and all their advice and support during my time on the course.

This experience made me secure in my steps to being apart of the fashion styling industry. It demystified what it takes to be successful in what often seems like an unattainable industry to get into without connections. Emily and her assistants are super supportive, no question is too small or silly. During this experience I got to really experience what it takes to be an attribute to a successful stylist, and it has really motivated me further. Easily the best decision I've made professionally so far.

Had an amazing 10 days learning from Emily, feeling very inspired and motivated for the future thanks to this experience.
