BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!! Probably the worst ever customer service I have experienced. After receiving two faulty doorbells (both have never worked) I requested a refund. Ecomgroup’s only response is to offer me another doorbell which I don’t want. They refuse to enter in to any meaningful communication.
They are not a UK company (although this wasn’t obvious upon purchase) and chasing a refund through normal consumer protection rights doesn’t appear to be an option.
I intend to leave reviews everywhere I can because I feel that they have scammed me out of £80.
Disastrous waste of money
Not sure how to be constructive as just seen an October 2023 review which details the same problems I have had. Batteries do not hold charge - last 1 week tops, drops internet connectivity every 4 days, cannot pair when using a Virgin media hub which has 2.4 and 5 settings. Wasted more time and money than is believable including buying new batteries and router. Difficult to be polite really. Other side of the world with little concern for quality. As for the review, I will not trust them in future. Had this for several months now. My patience is exhausted.

I had read reviews on this product, which seemed legitimate. They stated that at half the price of a RING video doorbell, this was a good alternative. WRONG. This video smart doorbell and 'dingdong' bell were very convoluted to synch and set up. The video doorbell app also continually loses connectivity. When setting up an additional person on the app the original 'owner' (myself), no longer gets notifications of someone at the door. The video doesn't automatically show. When the doorbell rings you have to go in to the app to see the person. The interactive speaker doesn't work in an instinctive way either. I contacted Enway customer services and the email was undeliverable. I also contacted them via FAQ and my request to return these 2 items was refused. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Doesn't pick up motion half the time and is delayed. Poor battery life and no response from company either by calling or by customer service link in the App. Rubbish product! Do not buy!
Disapointing
After reading reviews elsewhere this sounded like good value for money.
Plus point clear pictures.
Minus points:
many false alerts, even with PIR set to lowest.
Alerts after the fact, pictures of callers going off in the distance, even with PIR set to highest.
battery life, quoted in the manual as 2-3 months, in reality it is a maximum of two weeks followed by a seven our recharge during which time my front door is not covered. Not helped by the fact that the unit is held in place by a very small allen nut which is fiddly to deal with.
Major Battery Life/ Charge Issues
I bought this brand doorbell after reading a Tech Review.
Set up was fairly easy and I managed to get the doorbell batteries charged. I was very excited about the doorbell as the ring tones seem good and varied. I was initially pleased with the picture but noticed that there were many false triggers. Good picture on the video but sometimes takes a while to load.
The power supply IS the major problem and its a HUGE problem. Litium batteries that take 6 hours to charge. This has to be done by dismounting the doorbell from the holder (fiddly and difficult, using an Allen key). You can only charge the batteries in situ in the doorbell using a USB cord attached to a plug. (or power bank) So, there is a 6 hour downtime whilst charging the batteries and then, they only last 2 weeks.
It states that there is a 30 day no risk, money back guarantee. I have requested to return the item and they have asked for images and videos.
I am hoping that they honour the guarantee. I will update my review if they honour the guarantee.
No sign of my video doorbell since 17th August 2023. No updated correspondence since it supposedly arrived in UK
I ordered a smart ecom7 doorbell on 17th August and today is 3rd September 2023 and I still don't have my doorbell. Although I have paid by my credit card. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Pretty good generally
I've found the doorbell pretty good, although lots of negative reviews on here especially about battery life. Mine is nearly 2months old and still hasn't needed recharging yet. Picture quality is good and the video feed. When the light hits it at certain times of day it does give false triggers. But I can't get the extra chime to work with the doorbell and can't find any info online about trying to connect it either. But still better than the Ring one for the cost.

Received the doorbell nightmare to read tiny instructions finally got it working for charge to last about 15 hours. It spends more time on charge than working. Absolutely no response from customer care. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT
Faulty bell, refund given.
I orderd this as it appeared high up on some reviews. It was straightforward to set up and worked initially. However, overnight the bell unit simply switched off and the only way to get it working again was to remove and replace the batteries. It then worked for a few hours before repeating the process. I emailed Enway (at support "at" e-com7.com not the defunct address on their Returns web page) and they asked for a video of the bell not working. I sent them one showing it not working, then working after the batteies were replaced. They asked for another video of the app working, which I had already told them it did. They then sent me the instruction sheet, which I already had. I got fed up and asked for my money back, and they have refunded me the full amount. If I had read other reviews here about battery life I would not have ordered in the first place. Very happy with the refund but overall a waste of my time buying this.
Short battery life lets it down
Purchased the Enway door chime & camera easy to install and the optics were just fantastic, however my issue is with battery life it lasted 48 hours and needed recharged unlike the one month charge that is in the spec, so I complained and was sent out immediately a new item brilliant service, however this second unit also does not last more than 3 to 4 days before it needs recharging it is a pain to have to recharge so frequently. The unit is nice cosmetically visuals are excellent it’s just the battery life that’s a pain.
Well worth the money
Well worth the money, batteries last about a week which is good enough for me, Camera very clear, night vision not too bad, Would definitely recommend.
Good smart doorbell but rubbish batteries
Had this smart door bell for 2 weeks and does the job, it is clear but the battery was sitting at 18% and I have good WiFi so that cannot be used as a reason why the battery drained so quickly. Had to spend extra to get a good set of batteries and charger which set me back another £30, paid £80 for doorbell so hence the rating, they should really sell it with better batteries.

Plus side: Picture clarity both day and night is great.
Negative sides: False alarms when sunshine occasionally hits sensor. Batteries only last a week (MAXIMUM). This results in doorbell being redundant for 8hrs whilst they recharge. What happens if visitors/deliveries occur within this time?. Defeats the object I think.

So all I read about this product is un true . Wish I had not brought it totally useless and a waste off £90 . If your looking to buy one forget it save your money. Used 30 % battery in first 2 hours useless with such short battery life

Enway smart doorbell.
Received this from company this week. What a nightmare trying to read the tiny setup instructions that are not easy to follow. I've put it on door now and it's hit and miss if it picks any movement up. It sometimes picks someone up as they approach other times it does not. I want to return it but the company is hard to contact.
