High vis Drama
I ordered a new high vis jacket to go on my motorcycle, Equisafety promptly sent out the order which ended up being lost by Royal Mail. Equisaftey went out of their way to try and resolve the failure of Royal Mail, this turned out to be a fruitless exercise which meant Equisafety had to send out a replacement. The new high vis vest turned up promptly, the quality of the vest is excellent, very pleased with the service offered. I do hope that royal mail pay back Equisaftey for there lost stock.

Charles Owen grey Hampton
Ordered a Charles Owen grey Hampton, Charles Owen sent the wrong hat to Nicky, they sent the more expensive Fian. She called me to ask if this would be okay and sent out the Fian, at the same price I paid for the Hampton and at a loss for herself, so I didn’t have to wait any longer. Thank you Nicky ⭐️

Quality clothing at a reasonable price
I wanted a lightweight Hi Viz waistcoat to walk my dog in on a busy country road.
Equisafety had exactly what I wanted and having previously purchased a High Viz winter coat from them I was confident that the quality would be good.
Prompt delivery and as expected the waistcoat was well made from quality material. It fitted well and perfect for what I wanted it for.

Safety gear- more collar selections please
I was searching for safety gear for my sister who also drives carriages. We like the leg bands. I was disappointed that the breast collars were only in the triangle style. I used to be able to find soft fabric ones that were reflective and just went around the breast, were broader, and a larger area of bright neon. Seems your company does not make those or sell them as a single item. And most other companies I looked at were sold out.

I really dont know who is replying to these reviews but perhaps they should get their FACTS STRAIGHT!!
1) I ordered from equisafetys website - I DID NOT ORDER FROM A SHOP, my order number was 6225, ordered on the 2nd December 2019 I ordered:
Exercise wraparound rug in red/orange
Reflective Reversible inferno waterproof jacket red/orange
Reflective quilted leg boots red/orange
Totaling £173.97
I DID NOT BUY FROM A SHOP, I bought it directly from Equisafety.
2) I returned the jacket paying for the postage myself, and this was received by Equisafety on the 9th December 2019 - I have the email confirming this from Lorraine Davies. This jacket was then EXCHANGED FOR A POLITE JACKET.
EQUISAFETY DID NOT GIVE ME A FREE JACKET. - THIS IS A LIE!!!
I had paid for the jacket, it was exchanged. I have the original invoice showing I paid for the jacket.
As for being aggressive I have a copy of the 17!! emails I sent between December 2019 and February 2020. I called Nikki Fletcher Dense because she told me to return the jacket to the shop after 17 emails which clearly showed I bought it from their website! I became frustrated and said “are you being dense?”. This is not aggressive. I have the emails to prove it!! SO STOP LYING!!! I was then left with a jacket I couldnt use.

It’s funny how it’s taken Equisafety 4 years to respond to my review. You can read my original negative review as it’s the last one on the page. “Not fit for purpose/bad customer service”.
I have copied and pasted their response below.
It appears that I was right in my original opinion of the manager being dense.
Their response proves that they have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.
1)They did not give me a jacket free of charge as they have stated here, I had already paid for the jacket, it was an EXCHANGE. I also bought a rug for my horse as well so I spent quite a lot of money with them. Apparently that doesn’t matter.
2) I did not buy the jacket from a retailer as I have stated previously. This is why I became frustrated with the manager in the first place, because she told me had to take it back to the shop after already emailing this company for over a MONTH. The reason I became frustrated, was because I bought the jacket from WEBSITE, therefore THEY ARE THE RETAILER!!!
So I did return the jacket to the retailer!
What is also covered under the sales of goods act is that the jacket must be fit for purpose. I’ve worked in retail for over 30 years so don’t try to pull the wool over my eyes. I’ve been a manager also for many many years. I know what the law states.
Your jacket is supposed to be a winter jacket which is supposed to keep the rider warm and dry, that’s the whole purpose of it. In my instance, the zip would not stay down, and there is not a waterproof vanity skirt underneath the zip. Which you stated was due to the jackets being reversible. Therefore if the 9 inch zip goes up during a ride, which it should not do, as it should be able to withstand the tolerance of people horseriding as that is the point of the jacket. Then the person wearing the jacket with the zip undone, is going to get wet and cold. Therefore it is not fit for the purpose in which it was bought . so it is covered under the sales of goods act.
I ended up having to sell the jacket because it was not fit for my purpose, and they would not respond to my emails.
To state that they have not had any problems with this jacket that I had contacted them about is actually in consequential. Because you cannot go by other peoples experience, as my experience is individual and should’ve been treated as such. And said the manager was very rude, the only reason I became frustrated with her was because she asked me to return it to a shop when it was obvious if you had read the thread of conversations in the emails that I had originally ordered the coat from the website. She then refused to further communicate and left me with jacket I could not use.
I would like to reiterate that the normal staff within the building were very friendly and lovely and I have no issue with them.
If you read the negative reviews, you will see that I am not the only person that has had issues with the managing director being rude . Perhaps she should take stock of this and stop dealing with customers in the front line, because all she is doing is damaging her business.
I expect that they are having their business damaged by Equidry, who I have also dealt with, and bought a coat from, and their product is far superior. The zips actually stay where they’re supposed to stay, and I actually stay warm and dry and they do have a high viz version. My advice is to spend your money with them, rather than Equisafety, who have obviously decided to try and discredit everybody who has given them a negative review.

Avoid buying from there
My order was delayed for a month and a half, no updates were provided, I had to chase them to find out where the items were.
Once they told me the items were shipped but they didn't have a tracking ID number to give me because they are not using any (!), naturally I didn't believe them and had my cc company return the money I paid to me, they started being very rude to me.
Eventually the items did come, I informed my cc company and they got their money but still continued to be rude about the whole thing, not even one apology , it is evident they are lacking basic customer service skills not to mention business, sending items with no tracking numbers.
Hope they learned from their mistake but definitely lost one customer, I won't ever be buying from them again.
