Vlad diagnosed the problem regarding my dryer not heating up. He had the spare part in his truck and was able to fix it under an hour. Fast and efficient.
BIG Time scammers! Stay away from them PERIOD. You will find details on other comments, My regret is I have not read these reviews before. ASKING Money and threatening the Collection Agency Calls.

Bad experience they came in and give ma a quote and asked me to pay 50% and after payment tried many time to call them to do the job no one answer !!!!
The technician came to repair my fridge's ice-maker. Told me the main controller board was faulty. Paid and replaced it and still no ice. The technician came back, took the new part away, replaced the old part, and said he can't fix it, and that I will get a refund.
It has been 7 weeks of calling daily and still no refund.
Absolutely horrible customer experience, a total scam of charging money, and unresponsive.
Submitted complaint with BBB and Ontario Consumer Protection.
Do not use this company. Wish I had seen these reviews prior to using them. Was trying to get in touch with customer service after a poor repair. Was told by receptionist to call back next day around 9am. I did so, and then was told to call the manager between 1 and 3 pm. When I did this, I was told manager was in meeting. This occurred more than once. Nobody ever called me back. After calling them for a week, I finally had enough of the run around I was going through and had to demand to speak with the manager. Was given a number to call the so called manager named Michelle who was no help at all. Made false promises of assisting our situation, told me she would call back shortly and still never has. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They just want your money and after that want nothing to do with their customer. Again, do not use this company. Updating this, was told upper management would look into this and nothing was done. Manager Michelle asked for my invoice from company that repaired my fridge properly and she brushed me off. Again, the worst company I have ever dealt with.
If I could give this company-100 stars I would!!! Hands down the biggest scammers !!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
As with other reviews here, this company is a total rip off. Their technician came by to check our dryer - turned it on and said nothing is wrong with it. 5 minutes, in and out charged us $112. Then was told if the problem comes back, we have 7 days to call to get it re-checked with no charge. Few days after, the same problem with our dryer and schedules another visit (within 7 days). This time, the guy took out some lint and said still nothing wrong with the dryer about 20 mins and left. The got a bill for $168. Call the Company to clarify the charges and was told that they did a 'maintenance repair' seriously? and said that we have to pay the invoice and threaten that they will send to collection. Come on, the technician himself said that there is nothing wrong with it and nothing to repair but was charged a repair fee? Please save yourself the headache and call a different company.
Save your money, do not call this unethical company! Bottom line, two calls, $850 later, I am no better off than when I started. Third and fourth calls to the Technician were unanswered and not replied to.
To begin, called these guys in haste as fridge was not working. Saw they had 4.5 rating with over a thousand reviews so gave them a call. After further research, the ratings and reviews are embedded within their own web page, not independent Google or 3rd party reviews - RED FLAG!
Guy came up to "fix" the fridge. Total cost over $500. Less than 30 days later and still "under warranty", ice build up in the freezer started. This of course was a "new issue" so charged another $350. What was done? Sat there with a steamer to defrost the ice. That was it but he guaranteed it would be good for another 5 years. Looking back, it was the shoddy first repair that caused the second issue in the first place.
Little over 5 weeks later the ice build up returned. Tech never replied again and the office claims it's out of warranty. Happy to send Tech again for another charge.
In honesty, there was no way I was going to let these guys back into the house but I wanted to get their response. They didn't disappoint as they confirmed this is not a legit company.
Express Repair: as bad as 80% of the respondents here have said. (Kicking myself for not reading these reviews before booking them.) Two visits from the same repair person (he had to come back because new problems erupted immediately after the first "fix"), and now the original problem is back again. Bottom line: our dishwasher is in the exact same state as it was before Express Repair stepped in the door, only difference being that we are $700 poorer for the experience. The kicker is that I wouldn't dare trust them to step foot in here a third time to fix the damage they wrought. What a scam.
After my appliance was suppossedly repaired, the same issue came back with 3 weeks. I have tried unsuccessfully to get someone from the company to respond. When I did spewak with someone, I was told that I would have to pay to someone else come out. No one from the company besides a person who answers the phone from their home. (very polite, but could do nothing). I have called 3 times and sent 5 emails. I suppose next is legal action. What a same to have to go to these lengths. Nothing lower than 1 star rating. Too bad

this company is a total rip off. do not use them. I asked them to come and fix a washing machine gasket and repair the ice drawer. i asked the hourly rate that they charge and they said they assess it at the time. i ended up with a $900 bill to do almost nothing $350 to fix the ice maker and there was no parts needed and took 10 minutes RUN RUN RUN
My fridge was serviced by this company on August 9, 2022 because it stopped working. The fan was replaced at a cost of $600 with 30-day warranty. Right after the service man left, the ice maker stopped working. We observed for 13 days, and called them for a back job. When service man, Mike, checked, he said that we need to pay $500 + for the repair of the ice maker. When service man left, my husband tried to figure out, made some adjustments, and voila, the ice maker started to work again. So, the service man guy must have not re-assembled properly what he dismantled at the time he checked the first job. Now, they are asking me to pay $134.40 for the diagnosis. DON'T EVER GET THE SERVICES OF EXPRESS REPAIR. I give them zero star.
Avoid Express repairs 😱 as it will be the worst financial decision made in your life time. In my opinion and experience using this service....d o n ' t ! 🤨 If I had read all the reviews on this company I would never have hired them.🤥 As always "buyer beware" most certainly applies to them. 👉👎👈 Mine is just one of a long line of experienced opinions. 🤔 I wish I could take my one star back in the ratings. 😧 Good luck if you hire them after reading reviews on them you will need it. 🥺
Express Air is just not worth the trouble. I have been trying to reach their payables department for months now. Express Repair cashed the cheque we sent them for the service fee and then they forwarded this to collections. I am hoping for a reply based on this review but I am not holding my breath.

The person on the phone said the repair would be $150-$250, in person he said 400 and then went upstairs and charged my wife $500 when I was away. Does $335 for 30 minutes of labour seem reasonable?
Express Appliances was called to my home on March 11, 2022 to both diagnose and repair my refrigerator which had been freezing my food despite toggling the temperature to the highest setting. I paid $265 for the technician, Adi Azarov, to service the fridge which included checking all of the components to determine what was causing the problem. Once he determined the damper assembly needed replacing I happily ordered it and shelled out another $212. What should have caught my attention was the fact that the company's labour warranty is merely 30
days and the part 60 days. Of course I was told the part was ordered directly from LG. I felt that everything was tended to and confident that this problem was resolved. Unfortunately 4 months later the fridge started to freeze everything once again creating a lot of wasted food.
When I called Express Appliances to share with them that I do not believe they had properly diagnosed the issue, or possibly that the part was defective they simply stated that as all warranties had expired and I was no longer covered for a second look at the problem or for a replacement part. At this point I hired another company to diagnose the issue and interestingly the report shows everything to be in good working order except the damper. All signs pointed to the need to replace my 4-month old damper, after all it is possible parts are defective. At this point I had spent another $335 to get a second opinion, and I was quite unimpressed with the customer service offered by Express Appliances.
After attempting to contact the manager of Express Appliances, Michelle, for 4 days, I shared with her what had happened to which she refused to co-ordinate a phone call to LG regarding the damper she claims was ordered from their manufacturing facility, instead Googling the phone number so that I could handle it myself. I was flat out angry that giving them my business has been met by a total lack of interest in standing by their work and showing me that they have any concern for my experience.
This is not a company that deserves anyone's business. They are more invested in ripping people off rather than standing by their work and acting in a fashion that exemplifies good customer service. Reception staff promised for 3 days that the manager would return my call but it is only my diligence that lead to an actual exchange with her. Michelle in fact did not even seem aware that I requested to speak with her and casually apologized citing that she was out of the office, the opposite of what her receptionist conveyed.
I WILL NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIR IN FUTURE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO THE SAME, not unless you feel you are in a position to be scammed, ignored and upset by how much you will waste in time, energy and money engaging with the people who work there.
I wish I never contacted them and that I instead hired an LG certified technician to repair the problem. At least then the labour and parts would have been warrantied for 1 year as I later found out after speaking to them. An $849 lesson and I'm still in need of getting my refrigerator addressed!
Do not use this company they are the worst.
About a month ago I had a tech come give me a quote to fix my fridge door.
He was here for 5 minutes & proceeded to tell me that I need a new bracket for my door.
Charged me $100 for the service call & said that it will cost me $1,000 to fix & it would be 14 weeks to arrive.
I called another company to get a quote & the tech came with no charge on the service call & said I would need a new bracket which would be $14 for the part & can be fixed within 2 days.
I've called the customer service line at least 20 times regarding this with no help.
I've been hung up on, promised call backs from a manager which never happened.
Finally got a hold of a manager I explained the situation & she said she will refund me the money I paid for the service call.
No one has ever apologized & I'm still waiting for my refund after almost a month.
They are a joke to deal with & should be out of business the way they lie & treat customers.
It is now July 12th I still don’t have my refund.
I’ve emailed the owner with no response & the manager isn’t calling me back.

I called for a technician. I asked in advance if they have the parts for my model as I didn’t want to waste my money and time. I was asked the year and told they could get parts.
The tech came and told me they don’t carry parts for this machine. last least I should have a diagnostic right? He was here all of 5 minutes no more. lI asked what part he would order if he had them. He wouldn’t give me a direct answer. On the form he wrote unrepairable faulty drum. Well, the drum works fine and has no symptoms of a faulty drum listed in repair sites.
It’s “unrepairable” because he didn’t have the parts and the receptionist had lied saying they did. So, I troubleshooted the issue and am ordering the parts myself (available in amazon) and am going to do the repair, which is not the part he listed.
Absolute fraud. I wish I read these reviews before hand.
I had an issue with my fridge, they came and not fixed the issue and told me to change a part. We ordered the part through them and paid in advance, but it never arrived and they are not issuing me a refund.
