Lots of good resource materials
Lots of good resource materials though I find the search function a little hard to navigate. For me, it is not very intuitive and I find modifying search terms to get better results is a bit hit or miss. But possibly that is because I am not very familiar with it, being relatively new to the site. I like the way research findings are displayed and the ability to easily click through to transcriptions and/or images.

My Descendants.I seem to be able to find most past…
I seem to be able to find most past members of the family. Finding some is harder when Births, Marriages, and Deaths are not on line. I am in New Zealand so cannot visit the churches etc. that I would love to do.
Maybe one day.

In our Australian records the Birth, Marriage & Death records do mostly cover cemetery records. Although these are not formal records of birth, death and marriages, the cemetery records quite often provide dates of birth and death, along with much more extensive information on the person and their family.
Australian birth, marriage and death records are recorded by each state, there is no central records office, so you will need to contact The Registry of Birth, Death and Marriages for the particular state if you require a birth, marriage of death certificate.

I found things which I was looking for, and would probably stay with find my past but unfortunately it is very expensive. I also find the website reasonably easy to manoeuvre around.

Lots of useful information
This site has really helped me fill a few gaps in my tree. Having access to the 1921 census really helped. There is so much on this site like war records and newspapers. I was just going to use it for the trial period, then cancel, but there is so much on this site that I signed up for a year. You can also build your tree on here or upload one you've built on another site. Highly recommend.

Its desmond smith daughter l been trying to fined information on his family so far yous have been very helpful doing this not just for myself doing it for my granddaughter to have when she grows up but dad had 2 brothers and a sister his mum put dad 1brother older into a orphanage and she keeped the olderst brother Patrick Allan Smith and the sister the oldest Venonica Valerie Smith after dads dadpassed William John Smith born 1901 dads mum was Edith Mable Smith born 1901 but she remarried took the 2 oldest with theres no record of Rodney Smith himdadwere put into the orphanage Patrick and Venonica went with her love to fined them

I’ve really enjoyed being back on…
I’ve really enjoyed being back on Findmypast and would remain a subscriber, but it just the price that limits me to use this fantastic family research tool!
Undoubtably most people like myself are under pressure with money and how we spend it! At the moment I have to unsubscribe until things get better, but I’m extremely grateful to Findmypast for allowing me this weekend to enjoy the benefits of being part of this wonderful website!
