I purchased a Smoke Alarm System from this company in November 2021.
Although the batteries are meant to have a 10 year guarantee, one of my alarms started ‘chirping’ . Because they don’t seem to be able to be contacted by phone, I sent sn email on 24th April.
I did receive a reply by email after 2 days to say they send me out a replacement alarm.
Having heard or received anything by 16th May, I emailed them again, but as of now have not heard or received anything.
Looking at other reviews this seems to be a common problem and therefore I am writing this review to warn others about this firm.
The system I bought for around £350 wasn’t the cheapest I could have gone with, but was hoping, unfortunately that I would receive a better after service.
Missing?

Bought 3 smoke and 1 heat detector as required for our home by Scottish legislation
Around Christmas they started giving false alarms.
Company emailed and advised to repair them. Did that and a month later at 2am had a false alarm, had the neighbours call and had to abort a weekend away, more false alarms and took them down and put them in a box in the porch. Still got false alarms but couldn’t hear them so much but that proved it was not our environment but the units themselves.
Emailed the supplier and new units to replace them all were dispatched.
1 month in and no false alarms!

Like so many other reviews here I’ve had faults with my Firegaurd+ interlinked alarms- two have now disturbed my sleep by ‘beeping’…. Despite battery life due till 2031. I am now looking at other options- but I cannot afford to waste £130+ and now I have to find another supplier.
Customer Service ZERO
Like a few other people, I bought these alarms in June 21. After only 18 months (battery life allegedly 10 years!) our hall smoke detector started beeping and flashing red to indicate low battery. I emailed this company twice, but have had no response. I can only advise you avoid this company's products.
Be Warned.
If your happy to be woken in the early hours by faulty alarms ..then these are the ones for you..!

Sadly I'm another customer who has had issues with this company. I initially bought 3 interlinked alarms for my flat in January last year. In December this year, the one fitted in the hall started beeping intermittently, seemingly indicating low battery. Surprising given these are supposed to have 10 year battery life!
I contacted the company to request a replacement alarm, which was sent out however also did not work. Upon emailing again about this issue, I received no further response from them. Having now checked them out on this website I see that I'm not the only one who has had issues with them and sadly, I've now had to purchase other interlinked alarms from a more reputable company instead at more expense.
Very disappointing.
Please do not purchase from this seller.
I echo most of the reviews here. Don’t buy these alarms. I have had 3 smoke alarms replaced due to them being faulty. Each faulty device has been replaced very quickly by Peter but I have asked for an explanation as to what the issues are. Those emails remain unanswered. I am going to replace my system and purchase from a more reputable supplier. I did tell Peter this but he did not acknowledge my frustration and disappointment.
Good product backed by brilliant customer service.
We bought a pack last year based on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. We had a query and used the contact form which was answered very quickly. Then one of the alarms failed and again used the contact form which too was dealt with very quickly and again the issue was resolved without any hassle. Fantastic customer service. 5* doesn't get near it... Worth so much more!

If I could rate 0 stars I would! Initially installation was fine, fast forward 9 months and they beep almost constantly even though there is no fire threat! We have to constantly keep resetting them with the remote, only to have them go off again within minutes!! No sleep!!
We tried emailing the company for assistance, got very little advice other than to try to re pair them, which we did with no success, then the company failed to get back to us. Interestingly the person we’ve been dealing with is called ‘Peter’, which I’ve seen on other reviews was quite helpful and sent out replacements, not this ‘Peter’ evidently!!!
Anyway we’ve decided that even if they did offer replacements after all the negative reviews as well as our own negative experience, we are certain they wouldn’t last anywhere near the 10years stated - it’s a scam!!
So off to find a decent supplier of fire alarms we go, cos there ain’t none here that’s for certain!
They should be ashamed of themselves as these crappy units will inevitably cost someone’s life eventually.
In order to shut the alarms up we had to break them open and cut the lead - as seen in the photo!

The alarms keep going off when there is no smoke or fumes. I have had these alarms for about 14 months. One was faulty at the start but that was replaced and all was well until the middle of the night about 2 weeks ago when they went off. we checked everywhere but there was no fire. Eventually we went back to bed only to be wakened 2 hours later. Following some unhelpful advise from Fire guard has reduced the time intervals have decreased to about 2 minutes and the alarms are currently in a plastic box in a wardrobe and I am trying to find a way of disposing of them. Don't buy from this firm
NOT IMPRESSED
Bought a bundle for my house in January this year. 2 nights ago the one in my hall started beeping. At first I thought it was my old hard wired alarm which sits alongside but eventually after standing and watching realised it was the new one with the 10 year battery ha! ha! After 2 sleepless nights and my nerves frayed I prised it from the ceiling and cut the wires. I am raging at this company who have no contact phone number. However,they responded within a few hours to my email, so I am hopeful of a replacement. I am a pensioner, living alone so this has been a really bad experience for me.
alarm failure
I First ordered two sets of linked detectors on 22 January 22 one for myself and one for my daughter and since ordered another 4 sets for relatives. all have arrived as stated and service was good. Today after just ten months one of my daughter's alarms failed it just had intermittent bleep but no alarm signal when tested battery gone. These alarms have a ten-year battery life? the alarms have never had cause to be used. I am now worried about all the rest i have fitted for relatives if they fail early, it completely defeats the point of having them
Smoke alarms only lasted 8 month.
I believe you only find out how good a company is when something goes wrong.
Unfortunately to my cost two of my smoke detectors have failed inside 10 months. [Constant beeping]
So much for a so called 10 year guarantee. This company won't reply to emails. Three sent now without any signs of replacement units.
They will supply your order in a timely manner however my experience is the units won't last 1 year.
The battery is built in so you cannot replace it yourself.
I could not recommend this company to anyone due to my experience.
Scam
Remote controller and one smoke alarm not working. Interlinking not working. Promised immediate replacements. Didn't arrive. Emailed - to be told they were in the post. Weeks later, they obviously never had been posted. No longer answering emails.
I see one review that suggests the system is not compliant with Scottish legislation!!
Failure and replacement of Smoke Alarms
Two of my smoke alarms purchased in Jan 2022 failed recently - the random beeping similar to battery fail described in other reviews. Sent e-mail with order no and photo of a faulty unit ( to show batch no) on 27th Sept. Mentioned adverse reviews about faulty units and poor customer service. "Peter" responded promptly and promised rapid despatch of replacement units. These arrived today (3rd October). Installed and functioning OK. My only concern is the reliability of the remaining units from original purchase.

Do not use this company- alarms provided for use in bedrooms give out a blinding flashing light every 60 seconds making sleep impossible- also alarm installed by the kitchen failed to go off when a pan was left on the hob and burned. Company is refusing to answer emails. A complete scam
Faulty smoke alarm
One of the smoke alarms installed in February 2022 started beeping every minute on 10 Sept.
I contacted Fireguard+ by email on 10 Sept and received a quick response from Peter. He apologised for the inconvenience and said he would send a replacement unit.
I received the replacement unit from Royal Mail on 22 Sept.
Great customer service, very professional and very fast responding and sending the replacement.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs, complete scam. We bought 5 of their smoke alarms which are supposed to last 10 years, less than 9 months later 3 of them have started beeping due to low battery. Batteries cannot be replaced, and company have stopped replying to emails.

Tried emailing the company with email supplied dose not work, email returned as undelivered.
Then filled in the online company contact form to try and get a replacement smoke alarm as one of mine fell of the ceiling and broke, so much for the sticky pads supplied, obviously no good in warm weather.
I will see how long it takes the company to reply.
Another SNP led initiative that is not worth the paper it is written on.
