We all understand that faults can occur on any technical devices/equipment; it's how it's dealt with that is important.

FireAngel were exceptionally responsive and helpful in resolving an issue with a faulty alarm. When it became clear it was not something that could be fixed, replaced the original.

Worst app and customer experience ever. I have the 'smart connected' series of smoke, heat and CO alarms that are all from the smart connection range. I bought for the ability to know the status of alarms, especially when not home but also the ability to test from my phone so that I didn't have to stand on a chair with my ear right next to the siren. The app was great for a month but then wouldn't open, that was in December 2025. It is now May 2026 and the app still doesn't work (Android user) so I have paid a premium for 'smart' devices that are no smarter than those half the price. After repeated approaches to their customer support all I get is that it is with their app team who are working on a fix but no timescale could be offered. How are we, in this day and age, 6months of not having a working app; the app seemed to stop working on android 16 update. How could a company of this size not have a suitable app team, especially when they are continuing to charging a premium for a service that they are unable to provide. Look at the reviews on the Google App store, I am not the only one with this issue and an app score of 1.4 stars shows just how bad a company this is

Alan replied to my email the same day and were keen to resolve the fault that had developed in the unit by sending a new one out. Excellent service, thank you.

When my FireAngel smoke alarm stopped working correctly in less than two years from purchase I contacted Technical Support who suggested several remedies which did not help so they sent me a replacement. Both Sophia and Alan were very helpful in bringing this matter to a speedy conclusion.

We'd had a fire angel carbon monoxide alarm fitted last year by a gas engineer which was a sealed unit with a battery that is supposed to last between 5-10 years, however after one year it died. I contacted Fire Angel and explained the situation and they promptly sent out a replacement. Madjid at customer service resolved my issue and am very pleased with the outcome.

Very good customer service. I had a wired heat alarm pro which wouldn't connect properly. Fireangel always replied quickly and gave replacements straight away to get things working again.
Turns out it was a bad batch.

I purchased a FireAngel smoke alarm that is advertised to last 10 years. It was bought in 2019 and has already failed completely — no chirps, no warnings, nothing. A smoke alarm dying halfway through its stated lifespan is a serious safety issue.
When I contacted FireAngel, their response was to demand the original receipt from over five years ago before they would even consider replacing it. For a life‑safety product, this is an unreasonable and obstructive requirement. Most people do not keep receipts for a decade, and FireAngel knows this.
Instead of standing behind their product, they hide behind rigid warranty terms that make it almost impossible for customers to receive support. If a 10‑year alarm fails after five years, that is a product defect — not a paperwork problem.
This experience raises real concerns about the reliability of FireAngel alarms and the company’s commitment to public safety. Trading Standards should review their warranty practices, and fire services should reconsider endorsing a brand that appears more focused on avoiding responsibility than protecting households.
I expect the usual copy‑and‑paste response about “policy,” but it doesn’t change the fact: a 10‑year alarm failed in half the time, and FireAngel refused to stand by it.

I had a problem with a heat alarm which was still under guarantee. During the process I dealt with three members of staff namely Alan, Sophia and Carol. All three could not have been more helpful and my problem was solved without any fuss. A replacement alarm is on its way to me. First class customer care.

I had a problem with one of the two fire angel smoke alarms I purchased a couple of years ago. I provided details of the issue on their website contact form and uploaded photos. I got a response within a couple of days, confirming there was an issue and informing me that they were shipping a replacement unit. The test of any company is how they respond when there is a problem and in this respect, fire angel have demonstrated prompt and efficient customer service

Smoke alarm randomly firing. After checking battery and cleaning it continuously firing.
Contacted FireAngel who, without any fuss, promptly shipped a replacement.
