I was unlucky to get rear ended twice…
I was unlucky to get rear ended twice within the space of a year. Both times Fix Auto were given the job to fix my car. They done an excellent job both times. Excellent communication from staff, and overall very happy. Hopefully i won't be needing any more repairs any time soon 🙏

Unfortunately we had an unprecedented amount of claims on the week your car was repaired which meant all of our courtesy cars were with other customers, we did try and request help from your insurer but unfortunately they could not help either. We did supply your courtesy car as soon as one became available but do understand your position. We appreciate your feedback and will review our processes to improve our service. Thank you.

The car was with them for two and a half weeks but throughout they kept me imformed of progress.

My Volvo xc40 got booked in but the…
My Volvo xc40 got booked in but the agreement was to pick the vehicle up & return once work was complete… far from the truth!!! A member of staff was smoking at my front door with smoke blowing inside our property… as non smokers I find this disrespectful. Furthermore the company used my fuel to take it to the fix auto depot I tracked the car on route via the Volvo app & noticed that the vehicle had traveled extra miles at the cost of me, I was told it would be collected by a low loader & returned the same way. Staff extremely unprofessional. This is nxt part is extremely worrying only 3 ppl had my details, Volvo assist, enterprise car rental & fix auto Dagenham… I randomly received a call out of the blue to say my vehicle was being collected 15 minutes, I decided to decline but then thought it was strange so I contacted everyone within the 3 companies only to be told the number I gave them so not exist within any of them so basically some 1 sold my details for a non authorised person to collect it, reported to Essex police as I believe it was a scam also Volvo agreed, tried to call the same number but no 1 picked up !!!! Now fix auto refused to repair my only if I collected it ??! Strange but would return it if I requested with fuel but without the work being done? Appalling service from start to finish pls beware if you choose this repair company.

Thank you for your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your recent experience did not meet your expectations and would like to take this opportunity to address the concerns you’ve raised.
Your booking was received on 9th June 2025. Despite several attempts to reach you, we were only able to make contact on 12th June, at which point you requested that your Volvo XC40 be collected on 17th June between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Our driver followed those instructions and collected your vehicle as agreed, returning it to our site on the same day.
We understand you were concerned about your personal details being compromised. However, we can confirm that at no point did Fix Auto Dagenham, Enterprise, or Volvo disclose or share your information with any unauthorised third parties. In fact, Volvo has confirmed that before sharing your details with Fix Auto Dagenham and Enterprise, you had in fact already contacted them regarding a suspected scam attempt.
This clearly confirms that Fix Auto Dagenham has not "Sold" your info as you had issues before we were aware of the claim.
Volvo also reassured you that, should you have any concerns about vehicle collection, you could contact them directly to verify the identity of our driver — something we understand was not done in this case.
Regarding your vehicle’s transportation, Volvo has confirmed that you were not advised by them that your vehicle would be transported via low loader, as the minor damage to the rear of your car made it fully driveable and road-legal. Our use of fuel during collection was in line with normal procedure for drivable vehicles, and on return of your vehicle your fuel level is restored to the original ¼ tank noted at the time of booking.
As you are fully aware, throughout the whole procedure you were very rude and combative to our team and as such your refusal for us to repair your vehicle was welcomed, at no point did we refuse to repair your vehicle.
You must also now be aware that this whole episode was initialised by a third party getting involved and causing all the confusion which you felt was some sort of scam. You can also now see our frustration in being treated poorly through no fault of our own other than our driver smoking on your doorstep. We’re sorry you had to experience this and agree it to be unprofessional at best. Please be assured we take such feedback seriously and as such this has been dealt with internally so will not happen again.
Should you wish to discuss this matter further, we remain open to constructive dialogue and hope to find a way forward that rebuilds your trust.

Overall, my experience was generally good. The receptionist was excellent and very clear and helpful. The fix itself felt quite drawn out, but they did have to wait for authorisation from the insurers. Unfortunately the first time the car was delivered back there was trim not fitted properly and tools left in the back of the car. When the car came back the second time all was good. Ian delivered the car in great condition and was very polite. The fix itself is flawless and looks brand new - excellent repair.

Excellent service
After, having a car accident, my car was repaired by Fix Auto at Dagenham. They did an excellent job and would never know that there was any damage! My car was dropped of and brought back and was cleaned inside and out. Was kept up to date with the repairs.

Dropped off the courtesy car at my home and drove my car away for repair. Less than 5 days later the car was returned and I’m delighted with the result. All through the process the communication was very good, can’t find any reason not to recommend this firm.
