Efficient service
I would like to say thank you to the team at Sidcup. The gentleman that collected the vehicle was very polite when he called and I think it may be the same gentleman that brought the vehicle back. The repair team sourced and repaired in a very efficient and timely manner. The ladies at reception were very lovely to speak with. I especially would like to say a massive thank you to Heather who was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone that had a hand in ensuring the car was collected, repaired and returned. You did not disappoint.

I had to wait very long time for my car, the return date was cancelled twice and had to call and chase many times for the progress. It has been very fustrating. And not happy with the new exhaust pipe put in. Also the car was not returned clean as expected.

I am very sorry to hear you were unhappy with the length of the repair time. We received notification of the repair on 28th September. Your insurers arranged for your vehicle to be recovered into us on 6th October. Instructions were to carry out a pre-repair strip on your vehicle and wait for the insurance engineers to authorise repairs. This meant we were unable to order any parts until 19th October. All parts were received by 26th October and repairs completed on 1st November. With regards to the cleanliness of your vehicle, we are only authorised to vacuum and wash vehicles, they do not receive a full valet.

My car was badly damaged down one side, dented and scratched down to the metal, auto fix have done a fantastic job, most especially Dawn who has kept me informed and even arranged for my car to be dropped back quicker than the diary said! Thanks so much to you all, my car looks brand new.

Car was booked in for a week but took 3 weeks to complete. On checking car found lacquer drips which had to go back in to be polished out, twice.

THIS WAS SIDCUP
Took about 6 weeks from estimate to being booked in as needed an auto car.
Repair they said usually takes a week but currently two, actually took just over 3 weeks.
Seems a good repair so far, but time will tell.
The courtesy car was a very basic sluggish, Toyota Aygo with no extras on board, an experience in itself.
At first it was very difficult to get callbacks and updates prior to the car going in.
That improved towards the end of the repair.

Good Morning Miss Sanghera
I am sorry you feel unhappy with the service we have provided.
Your vehicle came in for repair on 11/10/21 on instruction from your insurers Admiral. We issued a courtesy vehicle to you on 12/10/21. On 14/10/21 (two days later)you called to advise us that the tyre pressure light had come on in the courtesy car , and that you had discovered a screw in one of the rear tyres . As you are aware our courtesy vehicle was fully checked by both yourself and our receptionist and the hire car terms and conditions signed by you to confirm this.
You brought the vehicle in to us later that day , the screw was clearly visible and had no signs of being in the tyre for any length of time or vehicle use . We have photographs of this should you wish to see them that will be sent to your insurer . You refused to pay for the tyre repair (which you were legally responsible for) . You were also rude and abusive to our reception staff .
You told us you did not want the courtesy car and left .
Due to a parts supply issue your repairs were slightly delayed over a weekend , you requested another courtesy car ! In the intention of good customer service we agreed to issue another courtesy vehicle to you on 22/10/21. Your repairs were completed on 27/10/21 when the correct part arrived .On the day of delivery Admiral Insurance called to inform us that you did not want to pay your insurance excess (this forms part of your insurance policy agreement ) . Your insurance company had explained to you earlier in the day that this was payable and formed part of your insurance cover and must be paid on repair completion. When our driver arrived to deliver your vehicle back , as we had been warned you refused to pay your insurance policy excess . You became extremely angry and abusive to our driver and threatened to keep and sell our courtesy vehicle! Our driver was concerned for his safety and was instructed to leave the situation and bring your vehicle back until the matter could be resolved between you and your insurer. You then chased our driver down the street and agreed to pay the excess , money that you had previously said you did not have ! Your car was then left with you as requested .
Your policy excess is something that is agreed at the start of your insurance policy, and we do not have any involvement in any liability dispute or the waiving of the excess for non- fault incidents. Your insurance company had explained to you that the excess was payable prior to our driver arriving so you were fully aware that payment would be requested.

The quality of the repair is great but…
The quality of the repair is great but goodness it took a little while to complete, with very little updates between dropping our damaged car off and collecting it almost two weeks later.
The full car valet was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly I just wish it had taken slightly less time.
