Fantastic! Ordered some flowers for my mum in Sligo due to any presents being sent back by customs when trying to send them from England.
She was delighted with them! They arrived right on her birthday. Will highly likely buy again!

Unless you enjoy showing your partner a receipt instead of the flowers you actually ordered(well in advance) on Valentine's Day then I would highly recommend to avoid. Absotlue no show Friday and despite promises and reassurances it would be delivered the next day, it was a complete no show again.

I've ordered from several florists over the years and this is the only one who have left me down. Disaster.

Found Flowers direct very easy to use and the flowers delivered were beautiful.

The flowers were beautiful and on time for the event that I was planning. The flowers took the event to the next level. I would have loved these flowers just to brighten up my day at home as well or to send to someone. The baskets were to die for - with the perfect leather detail! They were perfect!

I ordered flowers and a balloon for my mum’s birthday, placing the order on Wednesday and requesting delivery to her workplace at a school on Friday. The whole reason for this was to surprise her at work, which I have done before and know she loves.

By 2pm on Friday the flowers still hadn’t arrived, so I emailed to check on the delivery and asked if they could be there before 3pm as the school closes. Although the response was quick, I was told they wouldn’t be delivered in time and the order was redirected to her home address instead.

The flowers themselves were lovely, but the delivery completely missed the point of the order and left my mum disappointed. I chose this company to support what I thought was a family-owned business, but unfortunately the delivery service was very disappointing.
Since my review flowers direct have contacted me and kindly offered a resolution for my experience. Thank you. Again the flowers were very nice and are still beautiful today

It was my first time ordering flowers bouquet from this webshop and I had such an amazing experience! I’ve ordered flowers bouquet “Purple Majesty” hatbox petite and a single heart shaped balloon for my sister who lives in Dun Laoghire, Dublin and she received it the next day even though I placed my order on Friday night! The order was delivered around 15:00 the next day on Saturday. The flowers were so beautiful, almost identical to the picture posted on website, and the ballon was cute! I also contacted their customer service on what’s app and they were super quick to respond. I am so happy with my purchase and would recommend this webshop to everyone! 10 out of 10!

Beautiful flowers, really lifted my mams spirits.

The flowers never came on the selected date, I emailed to make flowers direct aware and I was reassured they would be delivered the following day between 2pm-3pm.
Received a text from my friend at 4:30pm to say they had still not received anything.
They came shortly after and all the gorgeous lillies were brown and wilting.
Love the idea in theory but if it can’t be executed, please don’t offer the service!

FD responded immediately to my Order and delivered the same afternoon. I'm told the flowers look fabulous by the Recipient. I always get a great service from FD and know that the flowers they provide will be the best available at the time of the order. I have every confidence in both FD's performance and flowers.

I ordered sympathy flowers with a condolence card from FlowersDirect.ie. The flowers were delivered, but the card — the entire point of the order — was not. As a result, the bereaved family had no idea who the flowers were from, completely defeating the purpose of a condolence gift.

What followed was worse. Flowers Direct acknowledged the issue but refused a refund. Instead, they first offered a €10 voucher, then increased it to €30, then offered a partial refund, and finally said a refund would only be processed if the bereaved family returned the flowers weeks after the funeral.

That last suggestion — asking a grieving family to return funeral flowers — was genuinely astonishing and tells you everything you need to know about how this company operates.

At that point, this stopped being about money and became about basic right and wrong. Rather than resolving a clear service failure decently, they relied on internal policies, quoted outdated consumer law, and tried to wear me down.

I ultimately raised a chargeback with Revolut, which was fully upheld in my favour, and I also submitted a formal complaint to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).

FlowersDirect.ie operates as part of the Petal Group, a large online flower retail group that also operates other similar brands including Flowers.ie, BloomMagic.ie, and Flowers.ae. This experience is exactly why consumers need to push back — large companies should not be allowed to trample over customer rights simply because they think people won’t challenge them.

My advice: avoid these large online flower companies altogether. Find a small local florist and spend your money there instead. That’s exactly what I’ll be doing from now on.

Have ordered few times and usually ok. I ordered flowers to be delivered as a birthday gift and really disappointed. They don't look anything like description. Came Friday and by Saturday wilting. Never again.

It was a great pleasure for both my friend and me, as it was our first experience with Flowers Direct.

For me, the process of ordering the flowers was fantastic. The vase of flowers was as fresh as shown in the image, and definitely worth the price.

As for my friend, who received the flowers in Newtown Mountkennedy, it was a wonderful surprise, and she was absolutely delighted. She sent me pictures both on the day of delivery and five days later, and the flowers still looked amazing.
