Did exactly as promised.

They collected our car when the said they would, they dropped off a courtesy car, they delivered the car back to us when it had been repaired and collected the courtesy car. All with good communication and minimum fuss. The staff were professional and the repair was spot on.

Lost my car, Lied to insurer, Faked liability, refused to evidence it behind SAR, CArs been gone over 200 days.

FMG Vehicle repair customer feedback

Just delivered my car from the repair garage and can honestly say what a fantastic job FMG Repair Services have done to my VW Golf. The repair has been completed to such a high standard you could not tell the vehicle has been involved in a collision. The paintwork was excellent all valeted inside and cleaned outside. Very impressed with the service and quick turnaround time would highly recommend their services.

it was…great

Had my vehicle in for rtc damage it was collected keep me updated throughout re delivered back to myself they also did a mini valet on it after repair was greeted with fantastic customer service on phone & also delivery & collection staff highly recommend

Poor communication, misinformation and no transparency

My experience with FMG was unacceptable.
My car was collected on 15 December and I was clearly told it would be repaired and returned that same week. This turned out to be untrue — the vehicle wasn’t even booked in until 30 December. Repeated calls went unanswered and there was no proactive communication.
Hire car arrangements were mishandled and delayed, and when a vehicle finally arrived it was unsuitable for my clearly stated needs.
The most serious issue was being told to pay £550 to release my car while FMG refused to provide a full itemised breakdown of the work or parts used. I was given conflicting information and expected to pay without transparency.
This caused significant stress and disruption over Christmas. I would not recommend FMG.

Update: absolutely no progress. They say they are dealing with my complaint but so far they are still holding my car and refusing to share what work has been carried out. I really dont know how to move this forward. It seems like they simply dont have the resource or morals to resolve this issue. I think I either pay their unlawful charges or they keep my car.

Customers are fools

Well a lot to say but will keep it short and simple, their staff are well trained on how to lie to their customers and not enough money invested on their system as the system is showing NEXT WEEK NEXT WEEK for about four weeks in a row. Apparently parts are still on the way so assuming parts are either walking down to the repair centre or someone is collecting these by foot.

Anyways I would stay away 🤦🏽‍♂️

Keep well clear from this company at…

Keep well clear from this company at all costs!! I am 7 months in with a straight forward non fault incident, to this very day no settlement and now have taken away my hire vehicle. Strongly believe this company racially profiles you, also get very argumentative over the telephone. If you can avoid believe me do so at any cost or you will learn the hard way!

Liars and cowboys.

Absolute joke. My car had storm damage that necessitated a new under tray, wheel arch liner and tyre.
I've only had my car back a few days and last night whilst driving on the motorway for the first time since getting the car back the new undertray peeled away dragging along the road. I had to drive at 40MPH along the M6 to safely get off the motorway. This could have so easily caused an accident for myself or other drivers. It is beyond comprehension how they could get something so simple as attaching an undertray so wrong.
When the car was collected and put on a low loader the collection driver pointed out damage to the bottom of the doors on the driver's side and stated it had been missed when they collected the car the first time. Yet again more damage that wasn't fixed first time round.
If your car is due to go these clowns I'd ask your repairer to go somewhere else.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
I was called by this company's damage assessor who claimed that the car had scratches all along the bottom of the bumper and that it wasn't possible for that damage to have been caused by the new undertray coming adrift, stating I must have run something over which ripped the new undertray out. Basically insinuating I was a liar so they could open a new claim and not fix their shoddy workmanship.
I rang back and asked him to clarify where the damage was located and he told me it was the black trim on the lower part of the bumper.
Unfortunately for him I have photos taken 4 days before they collected my car in December (including the META data proving time, date and location of the photo) which proves CATEGORICALLY that the damage was there from the first claim and it was something else they hadn't bothered to fix first time around.
I have complained to my insurance company and also provided them with the photos proving that this company are liars.
Check out the other reviews on Google and TrustPilot and you'll see this is standard practice for these cowboys.

FMG Repair Services Dudley branch picked up my car and took…

Dudley branch picked up my car and took it away for repair, they left me a courtesy car during the repair. My car came back repaired and fully valeted. They kept in touch during the repair with updates, all the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I fully recommend the Dudley branch.

Walsall branch as left my car unsecured…

Walsall branch as left my car unsecured the back drivers door will not lock when leave the car u can just open it whilst the car is locked same.goes for the boot .....damage was done to that door and a new door put in place but will not lock so now I have someone sleeping in the car so doesn't get stolen .....fmg not open until Monday so the weekend left now unsecured 42days in repairs dates changing aren't u meant to do check on specialist at the end of repairs as that's why dates was changed for that purpose ....now left with a car the unsecured for possible theft ........how wonderful thank you very much ........all I can really say I'm fuming and not happy with Walsall branch at all ...

Staff went the extra miles to help me

Steve and Ian delivered my car back to my home from there Leamington base this morning. After they left, I discovered that I had mislaid a set of keys. They came back from Rugby to help me find the keys.
They were both friendly and professional also reassuring. Fortunately the keys were found.

Terrible communication from start to…

Terrible communication from start to finish. Multiple broken delivery promises including wife taking a wasted day off work to take a delivery that didn't materialise. Car was also returned with a flat tyre.
The actual repair is great though 🙄
