Traded in iphone 11. Clear description of different quality points, mine had a deep scratch on the screen so was “poor”. Sent off the item on a Tuesday and a week later had the agreed amount in my account, no haggling or issues.

Really disappointing experience
Really disappointing experience, took 4 days to re-value phone once arrived. Offered a 5th of initial offer, took over a week to return phone. Ignored emails.

Hassle free phone recycling
After comparing a few phone recycling sites , Frift offered the most for my iphone 12 , my phone had a few marks on the edges so the price I was quoted was reduced after I sent it to them , the amount I received was still more than other phone recycling places , payment was received within 3 days .
Overall happy with the price and a straight forward process to sent phone and recieve payment .

Double check and photograph your phone before sending!
I recycled my wife’s iPhone XS with Frift.
Following receipt, they said “On evaluation we found scratching on the upper section of the screen and around the edges of the casing as well as pitting marks on the back of the phone.”
As the phone was immaculate and sent in the original box I was shocked to hear this. My wife used a wallet case and screen protector.
I queried the revaluation which was £30 less than the initial agreed price. So they sent pictures showing a heavily scratched screen - and said they use a special camera to take photos and inspect the phones.
I reluctantly accepted a revised counter offer £15 less than the original.
This wasn’t a pleasant experience and having recycled many iPhones and iPads previously without a problem, I won’t be using Frift again.

Use Frift 2 times. They was very fair with the price. I knew a bit would be knocked off due to battery health and they messaged very fast. I got a good price compared to another company I tried first. Would definitely use again

Good experience overall
Took a week to receive the postal box to send in my phone, which was disappointing.
My phone was in perfect order and I’m pleased to say that I received the full amount within two days of Frift informing me payment was on its way. Other companies have always knocked down the price in my experience so this was a first. Overall, happy with service received.

They took £20 off the original valuation due to “pitting marks in the back of the phone and some light paint wear on the right hand side of the casing”…. I’m wondering how many people get the same message and for the sake of £20 they will accept the offer.
I never had such a bad experience before, I’ve been selling my iPhones for many years and I always got the right money/valuation.
I learned a valuable lesson, next time I’ll go with the company toI used before. Shame as I have an IPhone 13 max pro that I’m selling next due to upgrading, I won’t be using you guys sorry!

False starting prices
Found a tiny reason to devalue the phone I sent in, had to chase the payment after waiting a week from confirmation of the lower price I wasn’t expecting. Whole process took 3 weeks… If you’re expecting good honest service don’t use this company. There are much better ones out there who are quicker, slicker and don’t lure you in at a false starting price.
