Horrible communication and customer service

Horrible communication and customer service. I ordered a tool they sold not the cabinets. The tool was back ordered which I did not know until I contacted them. ( no communication from them). When it finally came, it was not the set of 14 I ordered and was pictured on there website with no mention of a reduced subset. What I received was a set of six. I sent a second email to resolve this with either the correct set or I wanted a refund. I never heard from them. I called customer service. Not only did the woman constantly interrupt me, but insisted on a 20% restocking fee and I pay for shipping. When I asked to speak to a manager she said he was unable but she would withdraw the restocking fee. I said this is unacceptable ( I sent screenshots of my order which gave no indication of the subset I ordered until after the purchase was made). It was either classic ‘bait and switch’ or at best sloppy website description to accurately convey what the order was. Regardless, I did not want to pay for shipping. I was told the ‘manager’ would call me back tomorrow morning. It’s been three days and I am still waiting for a call.

Never Received the Product

I placed an order for a cabinet on February 9, 2026 (Order #19212) for $304.99. At the time of purchase, the company stated that delivery would take approximately 1–2 weeks.

After several weeks passed with no shipping confirmation or tracking information, I reached out multiple times for updates. I was repeatedly told that the order was delayed and still being processed, but no concrete shipping timeline was ever provided.

As of March 12, more than four weeks after placing the order, the item had still not shipped. I formally requested a refund due to non-delivery and have received no response since.

At this point, the company has failed to deliver the product within the stated timeframe, has not provided tracking information, and has ignored a direct refund request. I have been forced to dispute the charge with my bank.

I would advise others to be cautious when ordering from this company, as my experience has been marked by delays, lack of communication, and failure to resolve the issue.

Horrible Experience with Garage Cabinets Online

My experience buying cabinets from garagecabinetsonline.com was pretty frustrating. From the start, communication was lacking and getting updates on my order was difficult. Shipping took longer than promised, and when the cabinets finally arrived, the quality was underwhelming for the price. There were minor issues that made installation more time-consuming than expected, and customer support wasn’t very helpful in resolving them. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience.

My recent experience with GarageCabinetsOnline.com was extremely frustrating and has led me to take my business elsewhere. I strongly caution other shoppers to be aware of their deceptive pricing tactics and poor customer service.
I purchased a slat wall accessory kit that was clearly marked on sale for $99.99 and completed the checkout process. I have a confirmation showing I paid the full amount. However, later that same day, a customer service agent called to inform me that the company would not honor the price I paid. They claimed the price had been "raised" to $169.99. The agent then proceeded to offer me a "favor," suggesting they would charge me $159.99 instead of the new, higher price.
This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and it's unacceptable for any business to pull this after a customer has already completed their purchase. When I questioned this, the agent claimed it was within GarageCabinetsOnline.com's policy to change prices at any time. This claim, however, does not justify their refusal to honor a completed and paid-for contract.
Lack of customer respect
A company that respects its customers honors the price at which a sale was made, particularly when the transaction is complete. Canceling a paid-for order and demanding a higher price is a clear sign that GarageCabinetsOnline.com does not value its customers or its own word.
I have canceled my order and will not be paying more. Instead, I will take my business to a company that operates with integrity and respects its customers. For anyone considering a purchase from this store, proceed with extreme caution. Your "final" price may not be final at all.
