GrejFreak ApS (owner of GearFreak) was founded on the 1st of July 2008 by Kristian Rasmussen and Casper Pedersen in Denmark. Kristian is a former Lance Corporal at the Jutland Dragoon Regiment and has been stationed in Kosovo on team 17 and in Afghanistan on team 7. Casper has a bachelor’s degree in International Sales and Marketing from the Business Academy in Aarhus and has a great interest in civilian outdoor life. The foundation of our company is built on countless experiences and recommendations from professional soldiers from all branches of the Danish Armed Forces. It is a fact that many soldiers today buy equipment to supplement what they get from the Forces. Soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan especially find a need for gear that they have not been supplied with.

Sehr guter Kundenservice. Ich musste nach abgeschlossener Bestellung meine Lieferadresse korrigieren und darauf wurde sofort eingegangen. Ich habe meine Ware schnell an die richtige Adresse erhalten. Würde dort wieder bestellen.

Top !! Schneller Versand und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Ein gutes Holster für Linkshänder ist nicht so einfach zu finden oder doppelt so teuer. Jetzt bin ich gut ausgerüstet für den Job.

Alles hat super geklappt. Top Preis und schnelle Lieferung. Originalartikel wie beschrieben in Größe XL. Ich nehme die Transporttasche von Pedromax, robustes Material, für meinen Atago Grill, passt genau und in die Reißverschlusstasche im Deckel geht noch kleines Zubehör hinein.

Be aware this is not a UK based…
Be aware this is not a UK based company, but in Denmark. One might assume with a .uk web address that they are uk based. My order was reportedly delayed due to customs and when querying where it was, they pointed me to the terms and conditions and initially said there was nothing they could do. A further query solicited an offer of a refund but the items eventually turned up 8 days after ordering. Not exactly fast shipping....

I’m sorry about the experience you have had with us.
We aren’t trying to hide, that we are based outside UK and that shipping will take a bit longer.
Due to problems at the customs in the UK, our parcels can get delayed for several days, while others are cleared the same day they arrive.
We have been trying to find a solution to it, but sadly there is nothing we can do about the possible delays in the customs. Therefore, we have also changed our expected delivery times.

Excellent service and communication. I sadly had to return an item, only due to size, and the whole process was very easy considering it was an internationally order.

Ordering from the EU panic
I ordered the sleeping bag and then checked the company online reviews . Several reviews had me panicking slightly as I didn't realise that the company was based in Denmark but the package arrived within ten days I think .
I'm very pleased with the product and will be using Gear Freaks UK again .
