Sold a car to GEC - no hassle at all, paid immediately for a price much better than others offered.
They then serviced my wifes car, far cheaper than Mercedes Cambridge quoted and just as good (have had Cambs servicing my cars for years so this is from experience).
The above excellent experiences then resulted in me buying a work van from GEC a few months ago which has been perfect so far apart from a faulty wiper blade which they changed straight away for me. A* all round.

They Sold me a BMW X5 16 plate last year, and it's still driving like a dream. I've revisited the garage since then for a full service and MOT, and their service was excellent. I highly recommend and definitely would use them for any maintenance in the future

Not honest brought car done less than 600 miles and had to have discs and pads all round at a cost of £1000. The owner called robin bas***d.

They don’t even change the air or pollen filters in a service.

At the point of sale my car could not have been inspected that’s why the brakes and discs needed replacement after 600 miles.
£1000 is what I payed that’s the going rate and no they are not gold just good quality not cheap after market rubbish which you would probably fit.

I am not after money I’ve put this down to a bad experience and won’t be caught again you can’t get blood out of a stone.

I do keep up with maintenance, but you don’t expect to have new pads and discs all round after a few weeks and 600 miles I remember Adam saying your brought a good car there as we left. you must be deluded.

Bought a 4 series from them a couple of months ago and from the day i got it, there was a stuttering issue and a screech from the brakes. I contacted them and made an appointment to fix it. Them fixing it consisted of their "Mechanic" Flooring my car past 100mph and slamming the brakes over and over. Also the stuttering is "Standard BMW Xdrive". Definitely not. I told them I would get it checked at BMW and then they can repair from there, this was rejected as they "need to diagnose it themselves" Another red flag.
After BMW carried out a health check, it was also noticed the undertray was missing and the fuel filter they fitted was done wrong. Also the tyres they had fitted were not XDrive rated, which caused damage to the transfer case.
Also, on top of this, they charged me to include a private plate which was advertised as with the car.
Do not let them spray parts on the car either as it will just flake off. They also sprayed the inside of my exhaust with non heat resistant paint...
Cowboys, avoid avoid avoid.
