Be careful with this company.
I ordered an item, they said I didn't put a number for my house of the address but delivered it anyway to another address.
I still haven't had a refund due to them saying 'Its out of their control'. Laughable.
I am having to contact the bank to get my money returned.

My son ordered an item from tools.com. It’s now been almost two months and still haven’t received it. Tried calling and all I get is a prerecorded message. I’ve left messages and no one gets back to me.

Have tried emailing and no response.

Totally unacceptable. Starting to think this is is scam.

It will be interesting to see if they contact me now that I’ve written this review.

Needed some parts for a second hand makita chainsaw I just brought
Couldn't find it anywhere so rang these guys and spoke to Dav, it was a spike bump for an older model, he couldn't find it in there normal catalogue so ended up ringing makita and getting to the bottom of it for me within the hour, forgot to mention I'm in rural n.s.w. , so he organised postage for 10 bucks. Ended up getting the spike bump and spare chain, both makita genuine

Ordered a pedestal fan in early October and paid up front in good faith. Chased the order late October and was told that the item was not in stock but if I paid an extra 30% I would get a better product that was in stock.
Paid the extra 30% 1st November and waited in anticipation. Chased the order up on 11th November and was told it would be sent from Maroochydore on 13th November.
Still waiting on 28th November. Have asked for a full refund twice now with no response!
Extremely poor supplier with poor communication. My advice is do not purchase from them. I suspect they take your money upfront with no stock and then source the goods.

Tools.com in Maroochydore is a really good tool shop the service in there is amazing an everyone in there is so helpful they always help me with everything I ask about best tool shop I’ve been to for a while. Will definitely be going back there for more

Bought a Gearwrench socket set. Then found out later that day other stores sell if for $50 less than what I payed for it.

Very happy with the service,price,product knowledge , customer loyalty benefits I have received from this tool company it's my go to for all my tool requirements and would unreservedly recommend this business to anyone who requires the same level of expertise that I do .

From the start with the first contact by phone Caleb Alford at Tools Direct, Caloundra was friendly and had excellent product knowledge.
The purchasing experience was again excellent.
I had an issue with a warranty claim on a Makita product in the past and that was resolved without a problem so this made the choice to purchase again from Tool Direct, Caloundra a must.

After searching the whole of Brisbane and Gold Coast for a mower and dealing with super rude people who didn’t have any customer service or manners. I rang these guys and got ROSS ..., super friendly, helpful, knew what he was talking about and did me a ripper deal!! Dealt with all my questions and ran me through everything on pick up... good old fashioned service by a genuinely nice person!! Thanks again ROSS!!!👍🏽

Get Tools Direct offer tools for sale that they do not have in stock. They are happy to take your money with no means of ensuring that you receive your goods. They also do not contact you to explain that there will be indefinite delays on your purchase. From what I can tell from the first time I called which was a month after purchase is that they wait until they have a large order with that supplier and bundle the orders together. I'm guessing this is standard practice with these online "tool shops" however this is the first time I have ever had no product delivered and no communication to explain what the hold up is. The person I spoke to Brad accepted partial responsibility as well as blaming it on Covid. Covid has been around for two years now and I don't accept it as an excuse anymore. I have ordered parts and equipment from China, USA and and South Africa all of which have been ordered and delivered while I wait for the tool box from Get Tools Direct.
On the latest call to them I have been told that I might get my order in February.
I have asked for a refund and I have ordered the same item through someone that actually has it.
Can't rate the product as I never received it.
Service is terrible as not once have they contacted me.
I would not trust any of the info on the website as there was no mention of delays at time of purchase.

The $100 Wine voucher is a gimmick and fraudulent advertising. I have now purchased two diffrent orders and the vouchers are worthless as you have to spend hundreds to get a discount of $100.00

Extremely disappointed with service and misleading information..
I have my car without oil as I didn’t know I needed a special tool to remove the oil filter so I went online to Get tools direct and I bought an Filter Cup Wrench - 32mm as it was showing as available in their page. Today I received an email saying that they have a delay of 5 to 7 working days because they hace e to order the part from someone else. Why they advertise it online if they don’t have the part.
I will report this to fair trading is very disgusting to offer and sell something you don’t have and made me waste my time
No apologies for an attitude of this sort where they show no respect for what customers need and offer something they don’t have

After extensive research on line for a drill press I went in to see the team at Get Tools Direct. The customer service was excellent they had one available, pulled up the details and pricing. Helped with loading. They continued to assist after purchasing with advice.

David Ashton is a top bloke. Really helpful and knew his stuff when I enquired about Impact Wrench’s. Directed me to Katana which is more than adequate for my usage. Very helpful and great service. Thanks Dave.

I mean how can they do this ....not honouring the deal even after they took your money gave u an invoice n make u wait more than half a month then turn around n told u “sorry we made an error in our app with tools price “ . And we not honouring the deals n we gonna refund u. And there nothing u can do about it, they got it cover with this condition which written in tiny little words which nobody bother to read these day to be honest. Anyway ...I take their words for it ... “it was an error they claim.” So I decide to bought different brand of tools n they promise me a discount since hikoki price was an error.. Once again they make me wait for another 3 weeks this time which I already paid them n even got an invoice for it too.and once again , they put a special on their app site another sale this time ...was the Dewalts flexvolt 4 pieces for $999. So I email them n told them “I been waiting for my metabo tools too long I needed it for work.” Can they switch to dewalt kits which on sale now... they never answer my email n still kept my zip funds with them. Even though I told them in my email to cancel it The reason I upset the most is I miss out all the Dewalt flexvolt on special which total tools n Sydney tools held as well because my zip fund is still with them. From then on I knew “get tools direct” never intend to honour any deals, for any tools which they claim on sale or on special on their internet site . Just because they can get away with it n even any consumers decide to take this matter any further....

while a very busy shop, all staff welcome you in & rest assure, all were doing there best to come serve you. informative, highly recommended advise. purchased what i was looking for, from a very young, young chap, whom no doubt has best experienced staff all around him, which in turn will become even better than staff that taught him so well. A great team, a great team effort, will return to this Caloundra store as they repeatedly, and repeatedly. Always walk out with a new purchase and totally satisfied.
