I was looking for a hard to find vintage wine, and experiencing the wrong vintage being sent from a different supplier, I had to be certain I would receive the correct bottle! which this business supplied, my queries were answered with a very fast response, customer service was top notch, delivery was reasonably priced compared to other retailers and fast! The quality of the wine was perfect, matched with a great price! I would highly recommend for a smooth, easy, wine shopping experience. I will definitely be returning .. one happy customer from the excellent customer service provided

Shockingly bad service.
Ordered 2 bottles of sherry online on the Saturday (ie effectively Monday) for "next day delivery", so due Tuesday.
Finally got a delivery on the following Friday, 11 days later, after an email and 5 phone calls. Most of the calls ending with "I'll speak to the manager and call you back" followed by no such call.
When delivered on the Friday they brought the wrong type. Promised to redeliver correctly by 11am Saturday. Of course, no delivery by early afternoon, so yet another phone call. Finally arrived that evening.
I ordered from Goldenacre Wines as it sounded like a specialist wine merchant. In reality, whilst I am not exactly sure what the set up is, it appears to be part of a Costcutter. They are either woefully incompetent or have taken on far more than they can deal with.
Trying to find one positive - very nice friendly delivery guys.

Did not have in stock. Some time for refund.

I placed an order at the end of November. Like plenty of other people have commented I did an age verification and then communication ended. No emails to say it was being processed and sent. No emails in reply to mine chasing up what has happened. Really frustrating.

Placed an order on 6th December 2023 and still not received it by the 18th Dec

The only reason for not getting 5 stars was because there were no details of expected delivery date.Would have missed delivery if my hospital appointment had not been cancelled.However,package was carefully wrapped so no fear of breakage.Thank you.

Really poor customer service. Not had any communication about my online order which was placed over 1 week ago. I’ve sent a chase-up email and have had no response at all. Still waiting to receive my order. Very poor customer experience. Not happy at all.

item not in stock no communication from seller had to phone them to see where my order was so asked for a refund, not happy

I placed an order with Goldenacrewines, the money was taken from my credit card. I received an email to inform me that the age check had been verified however since then nothing. I have emailed them directly, enquiring about my order, I've messaged them on messenger and no one has acknowledged my emails. I will not be shopping with them again and will ask my credit card provider to look into this.

I have ordered from here maybe 10 times I always order on a Wed and delivery on a Fri like clock work considering I live in England that works for me hopefully this will continue
