The Recruitment Process
Updating my previous review as I finally managed to receive a response regarding my application.
I originally applied for the People and Talent Partner role in November and then applied again in February after hearing nothing back from my first application. I followed up multiple times throughout the process and was either ignored or given support tickets that were never properly addressed.
I eventually received feedback around April, however this still required me to personally continue chasing for updates after previous communication had gone unanswered. After following up again, I finally received a response from Maury regarding my application.
While I do appreciate finally getting communication back, I still believe the overall candidate experience and communication process needs significant improvement.
All I expected as a candidate was basic communication and respect. Candidates invest a lot of time completing applications, tailored responses, and cover letters, so waiting months for feedback without updates creates unnecessary frustration and leaves a poor impression of the company.
As someone who works within startups myself, I completely understand that teams can be busy and hiring volumes can fluctuate. However, I still believe timely communication should remain a priority throughout the recruitment process.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not apply to work for this company again. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future candidates. I have no doubt after this feedback that Tenzo will improve their process going forward.

The Software is easy to use
The Software is easy to use. Super flexible and was able to import all the data that is available in Lightspeed. I actually also believe from a Revenue recording perspective its far superior to Lightspeed and we are able to taylor our reports to our needs.

Great for messy tech stacks
I joined a company where he view was that Tenzo was expensive and didnt do anything for the business and we should remove it. When you have a mixed tech stack if you want answers quickly you need an aggregator. Within 3 weeks of joining i understood it was that the information in was wrong not the aggregator. Tenzo bent over backwards to resolve the issues and now we see a real need for this in our business. If they would replace the widget icon with something that i like it would help (personal preference only) but apart from that the system brings together disparate systems well and even gives me epos funcionality that my own epos provider cannot.
