Isle of Wight
As a single traveller I had a good room with a double bed. The Hotel was very good in all different ways particularly with the food and service in the restaurant. The pickup times were at a reasonable hour and on time and the driver and tour manager made the holiday with their willingness to go out of their way to attend to our needs and make the holiday a carefree one. The trips out were very interesting and an additional morning trip was one of the highlights of the holiday. Of course having lovely weather for the whole trip added to what was such an enjoyable holiday as was the cheerful company of the other people on the trip.

Amazing that a coach company cannot arrange a pick up as the tour is going in 4 weeks time. How long can it take to re-arrange things???

Thank you for your comment. As our staff and Operations Manager have advised, our routes are planned a number of weeks in advance, at which point unused points are closed. It is not always possible to re-plan routes and the best alternative pick up points are offered, as they were in this instance.

Another fantastic trip with grand uk the driver Dave and his wife Sharon are second to none we laughed from start to finish. Trips were fabulous I had my daughter with me and she loved the week. I cannot stress how much the driver and tour manager were professional loads of information given and always around if we had a problem. Well done grand uk.

Cannot fault it. Journey excellent. Rooms and food perfect. Only suggestion is perhaps split the excursions with a free day instead of having two excursions together. (Less tiring)

Just back from isle off white and what a great tour lovely hotel and food Marcus and angie great fun so knowledgeable every day was so much fun coach so comftable we have been with Grand UK before and will use again after a sad start to year this was just what we needed I am a terrible passenger but I felt so at ease

Lovely break in Norfolk
We stayed at the Sprowston Manor Country Hotel in Norfolk. Everything was well organised from the taxi to the feeder coach to the hotel. Praise for everyone who helped make this a great holiday from the taxi driver to James/Chris/feeder coach (coach drivers), Angie the tour guide (very knowledgeable and friendly) and the hotel staff. The food was delicious and the trips well organised and fun. Met some lovely people. Already looking at next year.

Morecambe & The Lakes Tour
Went to Morecambe & The Lakes in June 2025 and stayed in the Strathmore Hotel Morecambe.
The shower in our back room was so small you could not turn around, no where to put wet towels, shelving, step into shower,
No housekeeping
Although staff of approx: 6 tried their best, they were doing everything from reception, bar, kitchen , waitresses.
The hotel also ran out of supplies, toilet rolls etc.
The tour itself, only visited Lake Windermere, drove passed Ullswater, so was disappointing in that respect.
On writing to Grand Uk, complaining, did / have not reply / response.
Have since learnt hotel being demolished!!!

Being picked up from our doorstep and…
Being picked up from our doorstep and delivered directly to the port without any changes was so simple. We did not see our luggage until it was delivered to our cabin.
We were well looked after on board, plus the cabin was comfortable. The ports of call were interesting. Finally getting home was so easy.

Excellent trip to the Lakes
Having a knowledgeable tour guide and experienced driver, made the entire trip enjoyable.
A busy tour of interesting places with an excellent boat trip on lake Windermere. The Kirkstone Pass was amazing and visiting many of the lakes so beautiful. Hotel excellent.
