GHR is a brilliant concept, playing music from the golden age of music, the 70s, 80 & 90s with a sprinkling of music from the 60s. Unfortunately with thousands and thousands of tracks to pick from, wh... Ver más

Greatest Hits (Bbc) radio used to be good
Greatest Hits radio used to be good, but now it has become like anothet BBC radio station that, I stopped listening to nearly 50 years ago.
Far to much chat and stupid requests (shout outs as they are now known).
They have destroyed local radio across the country by taking over the excellent regional stations, sacking the community orientated staff and giving their it bland, ' National' BBC stay brand.
How come the regulatorshave allowed this to happen? Local radio was introduced for a reason.
GHR news output Bristol
whilst listening to GHR bristol news 1730 hours, the activist , sorry reporter said " american people had decided that convicted criminal had become the elected president"
Throughout the day they ran negative articles relating to this news topic from a left wing perspective.
This newsroom has a very woke Outlook, and iam done listening to GHR due to their news output
As soon as GreatestHits took over
As soon as GreatestHits took over, it became a solely business money making outlet. Nothing local, presenters replaced. After a number of months hoping this wasn’t the case, I’ve now totally turned off & switched to another station. I hope their backers regret their investments.

The same adverts daily for months on end, mulit times a day is absolutely ridiculous
Good way to put people off your company
What is happening with COOP Live 2024!!!
Ticketmaster has informed us that the Greatest Hits Live at the COOP Manchester on 24 November 2024 has been cancelled. We have booked hotels and travel for this event at no small cost and cannot get confirmation one way or the other as to whether it is cancelled. No one from Greatest Hits has the manners to answer any of our approaches for information either by email, social media or text!!!!!!!!!!! There is no answer on the phone number they post on their website either. We also notice that around the time TM informed us any mention of the event has ceased on any show on Greatest Hits radio whereas before the presenters could not stop mentioning it. We would like a professional person to actually help answer our pretty simple question.
Very frustrated listener
Hopeless GHR/Rayo Apps on the road.
I agree with others about the constant Make Me A Winner advertising that drives me nuts. As a premium listener, my issue is with the App on the road. It’s hopeless in areas within the mid to lower 4G and most of 3G areas. That said, it works fine in those limited 5G areas such as the M25. The M4 corridor is a good example of 3G/4G areas where the Greatest Hits App regularly drops out or locks up. Most of my journeys are spent in silence due to limited if any reception. If I was to try and establish the service whilst driving, I would be a danger on the road. The advertised Rayo App is worse as it rarely works on the road. What adds salt to the wound is that radio presenters continually advertise Rayo as the best way to listen to the service; trust me, it’s not.
Given I’m paying for this service, I feel ripped off that, on the road, both GHR and Rayo apps are next to useless.
For me to renew my GHR subscription there would need to be a marked improvement in the GHR/Rayo app/service.
Should be called greatest repeats…
Should be called greatest repeats radio, same songs every day, blondie,Madonna, if I hear islands in the stream again gonna live on an island, hundreds of song out there but same old crap.
Lost its way
This radio station was like a breath of fresh air,it was so good to hear Ken Bruce and other ex radio 2 DJ's again but unfortunately it's awash with adverts and constantly pushing 'make me a winner, lost it's way, what a pity, back to radio 2.
Most amateur radio station Ive ever…
Most amateur radio station Ive ever listened to. Ken Bruce must be embarrassed at the constant errors on air.
Started listening to greatest hits 60s…
Started listening to greatest hits 60s and it lasted three days. Same as all the other stations by way of playing the same records all day long. There are thousands of 60s records but it appears there on a loop!! It's a joke
Absolutely shocking radio station rip…
Absolutely shocking radio station rip off! Too many constant ad breaks and the cash competition obsession is a joke! Same songs all day everyday even at breakfast with the cheesy ten till ken.lol what's that about? One box of records playlist is disgraceful... along with far too much talking utter rubbish more adverts interrupting record repeats!!! Sorry but talk about loosing listeners..!
Blah blah adverts
Iam sure GHR are trying to force listeners into using rayon or online versions, the repetitions of the adverts is getting ridiculous, big turn off !!!!
I've given up listening to the new…
I've given up listening to the new Greatest Hits 60's station. Fed up with the constant repeating of songs. They seem to choose songs to play from a really small pool. Why? There is a virtually never ending choice of great songs from the 60's. Unfortunately this station only seems to constantly repeat a small selection of songs. I put up with it for a few days before the boredom set in. Come on Greatest Hits Radio. You can do so much better than this. Need to try harder. On a final note why do we have to have the overhyped Ken Bruce rammed down our throats as if he is some kind of God? Sick and tired of it.
The older Greatest Hits Radio kept…
The older Greatest Hits Radio kept losing connection to internet and Rayo is worse and absolute PANTS. Not possible to find any stations live or catch-up programs. the listings are absolutely useless but anyway it keeps 'not connecting to the internet' so they may as well axe the lot. The Ads are infuriating and constant playing of OLD very limited range of pop music feels like having dementia.
Ads, ads ads and more ads
I was so excited when Ken Bruce moved to Greatest Hits and I discovered Simon Mayo was there too, music and DJ's I loved and missed.....then the ads came.......
I know paying for Digital Premium is the way to go, however I don't have a digital radio in my car and even if I did, in Suffolk the signal is so patchy, you lose it every few minutes. I have tried to ignore the ads, but they seem to be getting more often, more repetitive and to top it off, they are the worst ads ever! Going back to gold ole CD's I am afraid. Will miss you Bruce and Simon, but my sanity is more important....
