GHR is a brilliant concept, playing music from the golden age of music, the 70s, 80 & 90s with a sprinkling of music from the 60s. Unfortunately with thousands and thousands of tracks to pick from, wh... Ver más

Great music but they have turned great DJs such as Simon Mayo and Ken Bruce plus the many bad ones into being salespeople constantly pushing make me a winner several times an hour . Premium listeners... Ver más

Dodgy reception
Dodgy reception, and a really ancient app. I’m missing Ken and Simon because of this.

In my area this station used to be wave 105 until it was taken over . Greatest hits is boring beyond belief . Same records every day . I used to enjoy listening to Rick Jackson in the morning but since GHR took over it’s become a dull programme. I’ll be changing to another station .
Poor Sound Quaility…Pushes Gambling
All the ingredients for success, yet the poor decisions of senior management prevent this station from reading its true potential. Poor sound quality as it transmits mp3 instead of aac files and at only 112 kbps at 44.1 kHz sampling compared to 318 kbps 48kHz for Radio 2. Also heavily pushes gambling to supplement its revenue.
Rollover rip off
Toi many gambling adverts it's ridiculous I thought you were supposed to support safe gambling limits .make me a winner must be making millions of profit for you and the biggest insult to are intelligence is the way no body wins so you can make even more money with rollovers
It's disgusting
Gambling advertising
I pay for Premium, only to listen to 5 mins plus per hour of gambling advertising every day every hour
Poor quality, amateur production
After the best part of over an hour of dead air last night, I'm giving up and going back to Radio 2.
I switched with Ken Bruce but the quality of this station has gone downhill rapidly. Adverts crashing audio, dead air where the news should be, adverts for disreputable companies, copying other station formats, constantly repeating the same songs - it's like the station has been taken over by a bunch of amateurs
Having a big name isn't good enough if you can't back it up with quality service.
Wont play my local Scottish area
Wont play my local Scottish area, constantly defaults to Manchester. Not much point getting my Scottish traffic and weather from Manchester!!!!!! Rubbish

On a ferry bound for Helsinki
On a ferry bound for Helsinki. Never thought could get such good reception...lived in Portsmouth when it was Ocean FM.. always enjoy the music

Please put popmaster on hold when Ken Bruce is on his hols! It is so disjointed when anybody else tries to do it and they try to add some humour too which does not work. Basically it is quite painful to listen to and yesterday(July 30)there was some popmaster intro music playing in the background whilst Richard was talking to the first contestant as though it had been forgotten about. You realise how expert Ken is at interacting with people whilst trying to run it and makes it seem effortless..
Disgusting customer service
Awful company to deal with. With never listen to this radio station again. Very untrustworthy and liars.

I used to love GRH and even took out the premium to avoid ad's and enjoyed the variety of music
Lately however even with premium i still get the ad's constantly for make me a winner, greatest hits venue at the O2 and greatest hits premium (i have premium so why am i hearing ads for any of this ?)
the constant repeats of music by David Bowie, Police, ELO, Prince, Queen, ABBA and Billy Ocean have made me turn off and cancel my subscription
Up your game or I won't be coming back

I subscribed to GHR and paid the yearly fee to avoid ads. It started well then suddenly the ads reappeared having renewed my subscription. Trying to get hold of someone to discuss the issue is impossible, they keep sending automated messages which are totally irrelevant to the issue. In frustration, I asked for a refund. I doubt very much I will get one. Beware!

I moved to GHR from BBC radio 2 because I enjoyed Simon May's programme and still do. But for goodness sake how many times do GHR have to play Bonnie Tyler's holding out for a hero? I am sick of that one not mention Police, Roxanne screeching out, Oasis, Tina Turner and not forgetting the Purple P**** singing raspberry beret! It is such a shame that they can't or won't find other greatest hits from 70's, 80's and 90's. As for the adverts they are getting ridiculous, is it an attempt at brainwashing listeners to buy whatever it is the advertisers are selling. Time to find another radio station!
I agree with some of the comments…
I agree with some of the comments previously written however, GHR is part of my generation. My only complaint is although we live in a society of constant news misery could the presenters at least make it sound interesting instead of just monotoning it?
Not good enough Greatest Hits Radio
Not good enough Greatest Hits Radio? Today your 'presenter' openly mimics and laughs at how people spoke in Britain in times gone by. Assuming he wouldn't do this about any other accents as, i.e. asian/carribean etc so how does he get away with this?? Is this woke or just just rude and ignorant and doesn't have the mental capacity to fill the gaps inbetween the numerous ads and rubbish music.
More adverts than music
More adverts than music, I don't have the spare money to go premium. All you get is one song then loads of adverts and I'm sick of hearing the UU water advert sometimes 6 times every hour ( mum wet wipes toilet or bin? ) Should know by now! and they have 3 different ones on now! UU should save money and fix the problems thry have! Sell gold play make me a winner play set for life, gamble gamble. ABBA ABBA Billy Ocean. I like Ken Bruce pop master and that's about it. Gold radio is loads better!
Wow so far not so good Greatest Hits…
Wow so far not so good Greatest Hits radio is playing nothing but rubbish in my opinion bring back the good old pirate FM I am sick to death of these people from art country coming down here taking over our station bring back pirate FM bring about the old presenters and get rid of this rubbish called Greatest Hits Radio I don't listen to greater Hits radio anymore I've gone to heart FM
Avoid this station like the plague
Avoid this station like the plague. They charge you nearly £50 per year for their Premium "service" so you can avoid their tiresome and frequent adverts, you pay the money and yet you continue to receive the same number of adverts. I have spend a lot of today trying to get through to them with no joy. In the end I tried to cancel my subscription and guess what....you are either met with a blank screen or a frozen one. I am switching to Boom which although has adverts, at least they are honest!
Reduce the repeats
I have listened to Greatest hits radio for the lasts 3 months but I am getting really fed up with the repeat of the same songs and artists. For Example Simon Mayo has played Erasure every single day. I have lost count of the times I have heard "Mr Blue skies" by ELO. Shouldn't there be avariety of songs for a radio station called Greatest hits. If this doesn't improve soon I shall be tuning into another station and there are plenty of them.
