We recently bought a Peugeot traveller from Griffin Mill. This was after buying a different Peugeot from a rogue, unaffiliatedcsecond hand trader which left us put of pocket and having to go through legal channels for a refund on a very broken at point of sale vehicle. We were very stressed, very weary and had lost faith in any second hand car purchase...enter Dewi.
I spoke to Dewi and he reassured me we were in good hands, trust I feel now that was rightly placed. After a bit of a rocky start, Dewi was so helpful in making sure everything was just right. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a credit to Griffin Mill and I would recommend anyone to him in search of a car!
Honestly, if every second hand car salesman was like Dewi they would have a very different and very positive reputation. He's a credit to the team.

Really not helpful was told on 3 occasions someone would ring back nobody ever did not great customer service

Where do I begin? After a recall letter from Vauxhall I eventually got through to Griffin Mill to make an appointment for March 18th 2026. On arrival,I was told parts were there and job would be done within 2 hours. It became clear this wasn’t going to happen as it turned to 4 hours then all day. I paid £24 for a taxi home,already lost a days work. On return at 5-30pm I was told vehicle was ready but would have to return as only did half the job as didn’t have part!!!! As I pulled away I noticed clock was off,metre was on,central locking was on and off whilst driving and service light was also on…none of these were an issue on arrival. I called straight back to be told ‘they’d look at next visit’.
After a month of trying to get through,loads of my info taken and promised a callback to book vehicle in I got nothing. Eventually I drove there to be told part was there and had been for a while!!! So booked in for following week. Got there early again,bus was ready to go couple of hours later. But….id have to comeback as they’d snapped bolt on part!!!!
So booked in for today,got there early to get 2 bolts replaced. 3.5 hours later after threatening to leave as couldn’t wait any longer bus was done.
I will never use this garage again. The customer care is shocking,unable to talk to anyone on the phone is no way to run a business. It’s taken 8 weeks to get job done,my usual mechanic said it’s a half hour job. I wouldn’t recommend using Vauxhall at griffin mill,the service is pathetic.

Phoned to make an appointment for a vauxhall timing chain recall, was told someone would phone me back but thay didn't.
Went to the dealership and made an appointment and gave my details and received a text confirming the appointment, all seemed to be good.
Attended the appointment the following week to be told the car wasn't booked in and they had no knowledge of the appointment. Was told to try next door in the jaecoo dealership, they also had no knowledge of the appointment as expected. Showed the confirmation text for the appointment and they said to leave the car there.
Phoned at 15:30 to see if the car was ready, and they hadn't looked at it.
They then phoned at 17:00 to say the car was ready for collection but they closed at 17:45. They said they had listened to the timing chain and it was OK and didn't need any work, but we had to book the car back in for another day to have the oil and filter changed because they didn't have them in stock. A vauxhall dealer with no oil and filer in stock?, it's difficult to believe this.
We collected the car, the radio was turned up to full volume, the air con was switched on full and the passenger seat was almost fully reclined as is someone had been relaxing in the car on a break.
We Will not be returning to the dealership, the level of customer service was very poor.

I didn't want to chose a 1 star but had no option. My star would be minus 10. Peugeot griffin mill had my partners working van for 9 months and when returned it is still not right. Tried to sort this but turned out to be very stressful and the customer service is appauling, never returning calls etc. Booked van back in for a week to be rectified when we were away. When we returned they didn't even open the door so still to this day 2 years later the van still needs to be fixed. My final word on this garage is if my car was falling apart and they are the only garage open, i would let me car fall apart 1st!!! Stay away from this garage!!

Even 1 star is too much for this place.
Kia are a shambles at pontypridd, take an age to answer the phones and when you do get through their staff are miserable and rude.
Do not be fooled by the 7 year/100,000 mile warranty, its a load of rubbish! they just hide behind paperwork and refuse to help when a kia part fails . Avoid at all costs

Very pleased with the customer care whilst purchasing my vehicle. Very helpful sales people with special thanks to Martin and Nigel who were extremely helpful.

Kia Treforrest where to start after losing my confidence with kia on my previous car i met a lovely young man named Ashley on the sales desk of kia we got into a discussion about my previous experience and assured me this will never be the case again we then discussed the two vehicles i was interested for Ashley to recommend the kia EV4 after a very well clued up salesman i bit the bullet and bought the Kia EV4 it was ordered for the middle of march as this vehicle had to be made with Ashley giving me a constant update on my vehicle even to the time the vehicle was going to be made then taken to the ship then arriving at Kia Trefforest Ashley then called me to bock my collection time and date on collection day Ashley took me around the car went through everything i needed to know and more is knowledge of every kia vehicle is absolutely second no none how he presents himself and even is dress code is impeccable i have had my car for 1 week now and i must say this car as wowed me and impressed me in every way possible Kia please look after this gentleman he's an asset to your company believe me i was a lost customer to becoming a kia owner once again Ashley take care i will see you when its time to renew that i promise thank you for recommending such a wonderful car everyone get down to kia treforrest and buy your new car you wont be disappointed highly recommended hsppy driving regards and many thanks

Booked a service for my Renault mobility car weeks ahead and arranged a courtesy car. Arrived at garage to be told no courtesy car available and to rebook for Thursday . So they think people have spare time and petrol money just to turn up and things aren’t arranged ? They were useless when my car broke down and took 8 weeks to fix it and they’ve not improved. Glad I won’t be dealing with them again

A big shout out to Kyle for giving me and my husband the best experience buying a motability car he is so polite and professional nothing is too much trouble if I could give him ten stars I would well done kyle griffin mill should be proud of you

Took my nissan townstar van in for recall February service I received was 5 star they even done free health check on van with video sent to me . perfect

This garage is an absolute shambles my car has been in 3 times with the same battery issue in the last few weeks all they ever say is they have updated the car within a few days same problem complete waste of time do not go with this dealer

Shame I can’t give no stars. Absolute shambolic customer service. I’ve spoken to 3 different people from the service department and gave my name car reg and email. Asking for a price on a gearbox service which Peugeot state at 60k. Miles. And they haven’t got the decency to get back to me. I’ve even gone to the head office and still waiting. Give it a miss. I’ll give that 100 stars

From start to finish well managed lovely staff nothing to much trouble given back with a nice wash n wax thank you griffin mill..

As Griffin mill pigout have admitted in their response that the recall on the timing chain on my pigout 2005 diesel has not been done as I said total rubbish from Griffin Mill Pontypridd DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER If you have a recall it won't get repaired unless you pay for it yourself.

The service that I received from Martin Baker was outstanding. He was courteous, helpful and very professional.

Avoid if your car is out of Warranty.
I contacted Griffin mill in regards to an issue with my Gearbox as when I put it into 6th gear there was a crunch. I knew from having owned Kia Sportages previously that they do have issues with the synchronizer rings and it is a very common problem so I contacted my local dealer to make a appointment and arrange for them to have a look at it . I dropped the car off to them and they said they would contact me later in the day .. when i received a callback they agreed that 6th gear was as i stated crunching but could not give me a price they just told me that the gearbox would have to be stripped at a cost of £167.00 an hour and it will take 8 hours £1336 then after that they would investigate to see what the issue was and whatever needed would be extra on top potentially up to £4500 maybe more. I was willing to go with this stupidly but they could not offer me a courtesy car or give me a timelimit of how long it would take .. the last time on my previous Sportage it was 6 weeks ! I declined and said I would pick the car back up ...they then charged me £162 for them diagnosing that when you went into 6th gear it did indeed definitely crunch ...Cheers I knew that already!!... I will say that the Ladies on reception were nice but as for the company itself ...Please Avoid .

I’ve visited Griffin Mill this week to look at a Leapmotor. After going to numerous car garages prior to this, we were greeted by Seb who has been fantastic. His customer service has been outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for him, his knowledge of the brand and vehicles is faultless. Really refreshing to actually have a salesman that’s not pushy or arrogant. Best showroom experience in the 20years, he deserves positive recognition for his service.

I cannot fault the attention I received at this venue. I was not harassed by salesmen but one was always available in case of need.
A big thank you to Martin Baker for his patience and care and also to Rhian in finance for the explanations which gave me peace of mind.

Exelent customer service from the Griffin mill representative Nik from start to finish explained everything to me and went above and beyond to help me get my car before Christmas i am very happy with the car
