HP Envy X360 laptop
So, the right hinge broke on this three-year old laptop and, when closing the device, the screen broke. HP support utterly disinterested and wanted £412 to repair. If this was user-error, I could understand, but this is a well known, well documented problem with this device. I would steer well clear of this device and, probably, HP in general.

Heute wieder eine schlimme Erfahrung mit dem de facto nicht vorhandenen telefonischen support von HP. Hatte eigentlich nur eine Frage zur Rechnuingsstellung für "HP instant ink". Doch nach einer halben Stunde Suche nach einem telefonischen Support habe ich aufgegeben. Mein Urteil, dass HP einen der schlechtesten support hat, bleibt bestehen.
Hewlett Packard. You can do better.
I bought a new printer. HP 7305. The power cord doesn’t engage the machine securely. A small movement causes the cord to fall off. I checked with google and many users suffer this problem. I asked HP to remedy this problem but their guy said the power cord isn’t covered by the warranty. Can you believe it??? I’m getting legal advice.

I will be throwing my now useless HP printer away, and I advise anybody who is thinking of using their products--including computers, but especially their HP Smart applications and Instant Ink program. After paying for one of their more expensive Instant Ink programs for nearly two years, I decided to downgrade because I wasn't using it as much as I thought I would. As soon as I did, the HP Smart app on my computer would not work correctly at all, my printer keeps going offline even when I turn it on. HP Smart printing was never that good to begin with but now it has been an adventure in lunacy any time I try to print anything. I have since cancelled my subscription altogether, and will never use HP again!!

I just purchased a HP Printer. I had some issues setting it up. Connected with Customer Service Online, and they gave me a number to call. Wow, what an experience. They hooked into my computer remotely and found a virus that came in through my network. They worked with me for 3 whole hours, and fixed everything. Now mind you, there was a charge, because the issues I had was my own. However they fixed everything, and got the printer working properly on my computer. Absolutely a 5 Star Experience. I am so impressed, I will never buy another brand of Printers. Good Job HP.

I purchased a laptop from hp. I paid upfront. It broke in less than 6 months. I dont know why because it is completely dark/. I can not find a way to make this right
Terrible Shipping Policy
I placed an order with HP because their website indicated a 3 day delivery to my zip code, but tracking shows it has been sitting for the last 3 days at the same DHL facility in Virginia. It’s extremely disappointing.

I Purchased a HP 7220e printer. The instructions stated you HAD to use the cartridges that came with it to set it up. It wouldn't recognise them and after several attempts they appeared damaged. I tried to get in touch with HP
but there are no UK contacts only phone lines abroad with very expensive charges or useless AI helplines! I now have A BRAND NEW USELESS PRINTER! Do not buy from this company!
Ikke andet end problemer med printer: HP LaserJet MFP M140w
Jeg har haft intet andet end problemer med HP LaserJet MFP M140w, siden jeg købte den for ca. to år siden, og til at starte med tog mod HPs tilbud om en månedlig abonnementaftale for tonerpatronerne. Da vores forbrug var faldende, valgte jeg dog efter nogle måneder at opsige abonnementet og i stedet købe originale toner patroner fra HP, og så startede alle problemerne.
Printeren nægtede at godkende patronen, men blev ved med at komme med fejl omkring at abonnementet ikke var gyldigt. For overhovedet at få printeren til at fungere igen var jeg nødt til at geninstallere alt med hjælp fra HPs supportafdeling. De var meget hjælpsomme, men det var en større omgang at få printeren til at virke igen.
Næste gang jeg skulle skifte patron, var den dog gal igen. Meget frustreret kontaktede jeg igen deres supportafdelingen igen, og vi måtte endnu en gang igennem en længere omgang for at få printeren op at køre. Jeg tænkte at nu må det være i orden, men nej -- ved næste skift af patronen var der igen problemer, og vi måtte igennem endnu et kald til support, der i øvrigt altid er flinke og hjælpsomme, men det er et frygteligt spild af tid, når man hver gang skal afsætte måske 1-1½ time for blot at få printeren til at fungere.
Nu er vi så fremme ved, at jeg skulle skifte patron igen, og printeren melder at patronen ikke fungerer. Jeg må indrømme at jeg på dette tidspunkt er villig til bare at smide printer og hel ny patron ud i frustration over dette. Jeg har fra tidligere af haft opfattelsen af HP som et kvalitetsmærke fra deres lommeregnere til computere og printere, men ikke længere. Jeg kommer ikke til at købe et HP produkt igen.
Very disappointed with HP – hinge failure on laptop, no goodwill support
I purchased an HP 17-ca1500na (Product Code 265281, Serial No. 5CG0289ZC1) and, despite treating it with care, the hinges failed, causing the chassis to separate from the display. This is a well-documented design flaw that many HP owners have reported online.
I contacted HP Customer Relations and provided full details, including photos and proof of purchase. While they initially reviewed my case, their final decision was simply that my laptop is out of warranty, and they refused to offer a goodwill repair — despite the fault being systemic and not the result of misuse.
This has been extremely disappointing. I had been considering upgrading to an HP Envy, but after this experience I will not be buying another HP product and will be advising others to avoid them too. A company of HP’s size should acknowledge and stand behind their design flaws, not leave loyal customers footing the bill.

I bought a new printer earlier this year/late last year and agreed to do the ‘Instant Ink’ replacement ‘plan’. It worked well to begin with, receiving new printer cartridges every month or so. I haven’t received any for several months now. I tried to contact HP re: the problem. No joy, just the run-around on their extremely unfriendly website! I urgently needed a new Black Ink Cartridge and had to resort to getting one from Argos, HP were somehow aware of this, and sent me an email re: it. I tried again to respond, given a 6 digit number to input, which was supposed to be valid for 15 minutes, what a total farce! It kept quoting it was invalid, checked it again, input again, all in vain! Tried changing my password as well. I haven’t got time to keep trying innumerable times on this totally incompetent, unuser friendly help page! Therefore I shall be cancelling my DD with them.

Very shabby product
I bought a HP Stream Laptop less than a couple of years ago to replace the MS Surface I've been using for 12 years or so. The Surface was still fine but it would have been incompatible with Windows 11 so I had to get something for my monthly trips out of town before support for Windows 10 ended. Obviously I bought a laptop with Windows 11 pre-installed so I was astonished when I set about doing the Windows updates ready for my next trip and found the latest one failed because of shortage of disc space/memory. I'm a very light user so it would seem the laptop I was sold with Windows 11 installed hasn't got enough disc space/memory to accommodate updates to its own operating system!
I'll never buy a HP product again and I'm seriously thinking of finding an alternative for Microsoft. Frankly, if both companies went bust I wouldn't shed a tear.
PS Forget to mention - the HP website has a 'Leave Feedback' tab under 'Contact Us' The link is dead! Just about says it all.

Bought a brand new expensive laptop from them, after 6 months I had a touch pad issue, and sent it for repairs. Took 2 months to send it to them, because they use UPS, one of the worst company, and they loose your package, and HP does not give a damn about it. Incompetent customer service, they pass you from 1 person to another one, they dont know how to help you etc. Do yourself a favour, buy a quality laptop from another competitor, there are thousands out there, but stay away from HP!

Bought a orinter. The first 10 (!!) days it was impossible to use. Waiting for new cartridge’s. The black cartridge was not oke. After a lot of phones they say “We send you 2 new ones “. After again a few days I got 2 black cartridge’s. Not one black and one colour. I’m still talking to them for my colour cartridge. It’s hopeless. 😞

Es ist nicht möglich, bei technischen Problemen mit einem HP-Drucker einen Mitarbeiter zu kontaktieren. Stattdessen soll man den Support teuer einkaufen. Katastrophe! Nie mehr HP!

Printer worked for one hour only. I bought the latest printer from Hewlett Packard (HP), and after much difficulty managed to set it up - it printed two photos, and has never worked again. I have spent hours trying to make it function. It said it was printing and made noises like printing but spat out blank paper again and again. I got several of my techy friends to try to make it work and we all failed. I was also bombarded with pressure to sign up for expensive regular cartridge delivery. I ended up giving it to Oxfam. I strongly advise against getting this product.

Ma revue de produit, pourtant de bonne foi, a été rejetée par HP ''Avec ma dernière cartouche, je n'ai imprimé que 2250 pages et non les 2800 pages promises. Ma nouvelle cartouche laisse des lignes verticales noires sur les images et non sur le texte. Je ne suis donc pas satisfaite de la qualité de la cartouche CF294X''
