Wow very wonderful

I am so unpressed with all the help and understanding I have received through this process. I am visually and hearing impaired and find doing any paperwork a change the team have gone the extra mile to help me fill out the paperwork and sorting out how to send X-ray..
This has been such a pleasant experience prompt in paying out. All I all a five star well deserved.

Read the small print carefully. I paid for rider insurance and believed family gold covered my child. When she fell of her pony and sustained a significant injury of her spine which has led to the permanent loss of her upper right leg and her spine being pinned. We were advised she was not covered by Harry Hall insurance. Be warned not to think your child is covered like I foolishly did

Terrible

Terrible! would not recommend the company at all.

I received a pair of boots as a gift and have clearly received an odd mismatched pair or possibly seconds without stating that they are seconds. The cuts are hugely different in each boot. The measurements of the boots are apparently within the company's acceptable margin of error, because they are hand made! which is obviously a ridiculous and unacceptable response. We are talking cm's in difference not just a few mm's. Using the fact that they are handmade as an excuse for poor workmanship is appalling.
The boots are different sizes, they feel different when worn, the heights are different as you can clearly see in the total height and back panel cut - which was pointed out to me when I was wearing them. According to the company I should have noticed the difference prior to wearing, however never before have I felt the need to compare two brand new boots directly out of the packaging to check that they are the same size (I initially thought the difference in feel was to do with the newness of the leather)! The straps are also different lengths and the holes are in different places to each other - all of this clearly and obviously makes the boots look and feel different and means that they are faulty, however the company say that this is acceptable because they are hand made.
According to the company there is nothing wrong with them, which is untrue.
If I could give negative stars I would.
In all my years of wearing boots never have I purchased a pair and prior to wearing had to take measurements to check they are the same - but apparently I should have!
I have received a few email responses and have been given numerous different reasons as to why they won't allow an exchange for a matching pair or a refund. I will now be taking this complaint further due to their incredibly poor service.

I do not recommend purchasing from this company.

After much searching and returns to other companies, these boots (the Denton) are excellent quality, a perfect fit and such a good price compared to everywhere else. I'm delighted with them!

Excellent customer service

I find the technical side of making my claim was quite challenging as I am not confident with technology, but Donna Lyn the lady who helped me all the way through the process was very kind and patient and I feel went 'above and beyond' her role. She is certainly a credit to your company. I was extremely pleased with the outcome as because of my accident I have had to pay someone to look after my horses. It is well worth taking out Harry Hall insurance and I will be recomending HH to all my friends. Many thanks

Poor design wellies

I ordered some wellies. They are a 3 and fit in the foot but they are a terrible fit as the rubber shape at the top digs in forwards into your shin bone. Awful design. I wanted to return them but my son had unfortunately drawn on the box so they said I couldn't as they wouldn't have a box to sell them on. I am pretty sure given the scale of this company they could have found a cardboard box given I want to return as the shape actually HURTS. Won't order from them again. Wont use their membership again either. I am self employed and I have absorbed much bigger losses than a cardboard box and I don't even pay VAT yet to give an idea of the size of my business. Sometimes doing the right thing is what sets you apart from your competitors and I will mention this on my social media.

Amazing help from the beginning

Put in a claim for a broken pelvis through my gold enhanced insurance in May. Had a lot of issues with obtaining my X-rays from the hospital but Donna was absolutely brilliant! Nothing was ever too much trouble and she kept me up to date throughout the whole process, thank you!! 5*

Professional and helpful

I have had to make a claim on my Harry Hall Insurance, I found them to be very professional and helpful. Donna in particular was very good and was always quick at coming back to me with any answers when I asked questions.

Disappointing

I have ordered from this company twice and on the second order the Velcro on the boots became frayed and no longer work in less than 2 months. Considering they advertise as boots to work in the yard all day.
I advised of this fault and they have said it is wear and tear and won’t do anything about it. As a returning customer I thought more care and consideration would have taken place.

Screwed up items

Ordered a coat for a Christmas present. It is December after all.
It arrived screwed up in a bag where it's clearly been returned by someone else and all they've done is shove it in another postage bag and fobbed it off on me. I haven't even taken it out the bag it's that bad!! Disgusting service and will not be buying from them ever again!

I already emailed your customer service and never even got a reply.
I have my returns label for when I can get to the post office. And will be sending it back for a refund, which you kindly keep part of!?!?!
You have lost a customer and I love masta rugs so will have to find a new brand to use.

Pretty bad experience from Harry Hall

Pretty bad experience from Harry Hall. Interesting I’ve left a review on their website but it’s not been published!

I ordered a rug for my horse. It arrived and on taking it out of the bag, I could see some of the Velcro fastenings had not been stitched. All in all I thought it wasn’t great quality so wanted to return it as faulty… what a fiasco.
I filled out the online form… no one responded. I called the number. Lo and behold you can’t talk to anyone. Online chat said someone would get back to me..
A few days later I received a reply offering me £20 compensation on the grounds the Velcro was not an integral part of the rug… anyone who takes a rug off every day knows this is not true.
The most annoying part… this email was from an address you can’t reply to!
So begin the above online chat process AGAIN. I was finally sent a postage label which annoyingly has to be printed out. Who even has a printer in this day and age. I’ve now returned the item and have to wait 14days for a refund… but when you add the additional week on trying to actually return the damn thing it’s all a bit long winded. I’m unlikely to buy from them again because of this experience.

Absolutely hopeless 'organisation'



Absolutely hopeless 'organisation'. Their ordering system somehow managed to select the wrong size boots - UK3 instead of UK8. I definitely entered the right size and double checked it. When the order confirmation came through it was wrong. I immediately contacted customer service via chat and was told the order could not be changed only cancelled. What sort of system is that with no flexibility?  Ridiculous.

Disgusted, I opted for cancellation. I assumed this was done and got a refund confirmation. Imagine my horror when I received an advice from royal mail next working day  to say the order was on its way.

I emailed customer service to complain but no reply so far.

In my experience Harry Hall is as farcical as near namesake Harry Hill.  Truly terrible.

Update: Refund email quoted 3-7 days. No refund after 12 days and no reply to chase up. Adds insult to injury.
