I stayed at Quay West Wales caravan Camden 19 where I parked my car next to the caravan at the back I notice a huge rats nest, I reported it and it seemed as though to the person I spoke to it was jus... Ver más

Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy
Welcoming touring site. My wife and I have just spent 2 weeks on the Hafan y mor touring site. Lovely welcome from the 2 wardens. John the warden offered us loads of helpful information and always... Ver más

Thank you Haven Hopton for amazing…
Thank you Haven Hopton for amazing service (not) firstly after booking a gold a gold standard was not allocated lied and told me another park had no availability, after calling caister was advised that they do!!! Called back and spoke with Manager Maxine who advised that caister have asked me to call them directly when infact yiu asked if I could call them another lie.
Thank you so so much Morgan at Caister for sorting amazing as always!!!
Be very careful booking a gold with Hopton certainly not what I was allocated.
Night entertainment
Night entertainment was probably the worst I have ever seen, couldn't hear most of the time and performances were lack and deflated.
Perfect
The staff were lovley, the site too and everything was perfect at Haven Allhallows. Despite my son's disappointment at where his caravan was , this due to his partner not taking up the disabled access option. This because he is not wheelchair user (he fell from a roof and has a brain injury and a back injury making walking difficult) we soldiered on. My caravan was a Sunrise View with 2 parking spaces so he brought his vehicle and 4 children to my caravan during the day. The caravan that was beautiful. His children, partner, him myself and husband had a fantastic break. Thanks Haven. Oh and WOW to Joe in sales he saw my son struggling and took him and his to my caravan. Lovely atmosphere and facilities. Looking to book again with my daughter too as she visited for the day and was very impressed!
Brilliant holiday park
Very clan accommodation, staff very friendly and helpful.
Brilliant offer on meals especially that kids eat for £1. Excellent entertainment for both adults and kids. You definitely must check out jack and the bean stalk panto if your there on a Thursday, it's brilliant 😊.
The holiday park has a brilliant relaxing feeling to it and no excess noise at night. Would definitely recommend this park.
Insecure booking website & horrific fees
I didn't even get through the booking process. The website payment system is seen as insecure by my firewall so I couldn't pay online. Took 10 minutes to get through on the phone, only to be told there is a ***£20*** additional fee to pay by phone.
And you can't find the phone number without spending 5+ minutes giving all the details to a chatbot which are then lost when you tell it you need to phone. It's +44 333 202 5250 if you need to shortcut that step.
Sort your website out Haven!
Dreadful holiday at Perransands…
Dreadful holiday at Perransands Cornwall all week there was a problem with water cuts , road closures , electric cuts and woken up early hours by building works that were being completed from around 7 am in the morning earth movers working to move ground for fittings for new static to be sited , haven did let us k ow about this and gave us the option to cancel but at very short notice which meant as we had booked a multi stay break in our motorhome there was not much availability at other sites so we had to leave it as it was.
Over the duration of our holiday the shower block was virtually not useable as the showers were scalding hot due to low pressure and the water was brown.
In the end we cut our holiday short by two days it was a rubbish holiday my advice is to not go on the touring fields until the building work has finished the email said that the disruption would be kept to a minimum but with giant earthmovers working 7-7.30am really you may aswell be at home it was a really tiring few days feeling down due to the poor facilities at the site , however the surf bay and club was great with lovely staff and the drinks and food was reasonably priced it was all let down by the touring fields after numerous complaints about the showers and toilet blocks to the staff and reception nothing was done spend your money elsewhere as using your hard early holidays is precious.
Appauling customer care
Went there for 7 nights, spent nearly £1000 on the week.
First of all they were not open for breakfast in the week, despite breakfast being advertised on the website, we had to cook our own, things were only open for half the day.
Secondly, disabled access was bad. Our disabled adapted caravan was up a steep hill, and had a small step after the ramp that was difficult to get over. The only way to get through to the main site was though the restraunt, which they didn't seem too pleased to open.
Had drinks in the bar each night, and sometimes drinks didn't turn up or had ingredients missing. When approaching the bar staff, 2 nights in a row, 4 different staff decided to argue with me, rather than give me the drink that I paid for in the marina bar and stage.
SUCH A GREAT STAY THAT WE'VE ALREADY BOOKED FOR 2026
The booking was very easy. As soon as we arrived at check in we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly and welcoming. Our adapted caravan was perfect. It was immaculately clean, lots of kitchen utensils and crockery and had everything you need for a self catering holiday. There was plenty of room, very spacious and really comfortable, especially the beds. The shower room was very safe and easy for my special needs sister to use. The whole holiday park was really well maintained and very clean. I want to mention Philip who organised Paint a Pot at the Ranger Station. He was so lovely and SO kind to everyone, especially to my darling sister. He was very understanding and helpful with her. A credit to Haven. I also want to mention Charlie who organised the Suncatcher creation class. She was so friendly and again so kind and helpful with my sister. On the Tuesday of our stay I needed some wi fi information and asked a gentleman called Rob in the amusements in the Pavilion Building. Again I was treated with kindness and help. All of these three were an absolute credit to Haven. We loved our stay so much we booked for 7 days in 2026 and can't wait to come back. A big thank you to you all
Doniford bay,don't waste your money
Doniford bay ,The caravan on arrival was absolutely filthy, the kettle leaked , the beds were rickety and very uncomfortable, the soft play equipment was ripped and poorly maintained, the 2 TV,s in caravan kept losing signal so wasn't worth putting them on , the cost of meals in the cafe were so expensive, they were more than what a restaurant would charge , no WIFI apart from near the entertainment area , nothing to do apart from the swimming pool, don't waste your money ,much better to find other places to go
Had to cancel booking on the day we…
Had to cancel booking on the day we should have arrived.Rang the site and they where helpful and advised I rang head office. My husbands cancer has returned it seems over the weekend he was admitted to hospital.I had no cancel insurance so was told I would not receive a refund
I rang premier inn to cancel our nights there and was refunded without question even though I had no cancellation fee .The refund would have been useful for hospital parking fees that I now have to fund .
Not a very compassionate company .
Haven cleaning and maintenance leaves…
Haven cleaning and maintenance leaves much to be desired. Even their silver and gold options can be filthy. Carpets often stained, cookers not clean, utensils with dirt stuck on them. Broken fittings and furniture is commonplace. Broken shower fittings too. Quite a lot of dogs mess in public areas so care needed when walking around. Staff not remotely interested if you complain. Very half hearted, could not care either way, approach. A complaint through their 'system' is long winded and at the end they are told to offer anyone who complains £30 to get rid of them. I would certainly not recommend anyone using Haven until they buck their ideas up and employ staff that care a bit. The management is awful in most cases and the company is losing repeat business at a rapid rate of knots as a result of the way they are treating clients by basically ignoring them and chucking £30 at every problem. Sad to say but Haven is a tired worn out company owned by some other leisure group who has taken its eye off the ball for too long and it shows in their grubby, tired, worn out accomodation. Try one of the rivals. There are plenty to choose from.
Not good for large famlies
Accommodation was well maintained, nice size, got plot and had all we could use with to make the stay comfortable.
Swimming Pool:- Lovely pool, good size and great fun BUT the amount of slot's you get DO NOT work for large families, we were given 14slot's family of 5 meant we could only go twice, family of 3 4 times. They need to rethink how they hand out these, very very poorly done at the moment when compared to other camp sites.
Entertainment:- Good but so SMALL. It can not accommodate the amount of caravans and people, the kids could barley move in the evenings not helped by the amount of adults standing around on the dance floor.
Overall good but won't go back due to the swimming and overall park size vs what it can actually accommodate.
Poor service, poor cleaning
We arrived on 6 June 2025 and had booked a Gold caravan. Unfortunately, it was immediately clear that the caravan was in need of a deep clean.
Additionly the plumbing was poor, and although it's self catering, it would have been helpful if a dustpan and brush had been provided so we could clean up as we went.
The site itself is very pretty and well maintained, which we appreciated. However, the service in the main restaurant left a lot to be desired.
Although we all ordered at the same time, our meals arrived at completely different times, up to 25 minutes apart, I even got my sides after my main course, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.
The next day, I ordered a bacon sandwich and waited around 45 minutes, while other guests who ordered after me were served first. When it finally arrived, it was burnt and dripping with oil. I might have understood if this were a budget friendly venue, but the prices are high, and the lack of basic customer service is really disappointing.
I really hope Haven can improve on their service and standards as I do beileve the park has high potentiol if they work on the basics.
Dirty accommodation
We arrived and were met outside even though the reception was open my wife offered are booking reference and was told they could use the car reg ,
We were directed to are accommodation, it smelled and was filthy pubic hair in shower and sink , dirt on floor and radiator had build up of dust and that was just the bathroom , kitchen was filthy and sofa had stains , we drove back to reception who sent us back gown to meet the cleaning team who said they could fix it in no time my wife was in tears being a cleaner herself she knew it needed a deep clean , cleaning manager was very off rolling her eyes and speaking in a not very nice manner , went back to reception asked if we could pay to upgrade and was told they had no availability I explained it didn't look anything like the bronze that we had stayed in before I was told different park have different models I tried yo explain it looked nothing like the photo we booked from on there site I was shut down again , I asked if we could move parks they asked at this point for my booking ref ,it turns out they took us to the wrong accommodation and was told we sold out of bronze do we already upgraded you before you arrived to one with a view , another mistake on there behalf I couldn't of cared if I could see the sea or not , my wife had just buried her mum and needed those 4 days to be perfect so she could just get her head around things , instead haven had her in tears and wanting to go home !
They gave us £50 voucher to spend on food and drink I explained I would of rather had an extra stay as we had lost one day travelling down traffic was terrible and arrived at 5 we didn't get into are accommodation until nearly 8 , we were told no there was no good complaining higher and to just take the vouchers ,
We decided the restaurant and bar wouldn't be a good idea due to past alcohol issues and fish and chips was out as I have gall stones , so decided at least pappa Johns for tea would be something , pappa Johns was shut for two nights and I have text from them to prove it ,
This whole experience was poor and has left a bad taste in my mouth we usually go to perrin sands every year and have a great time and recommend to friends my recommendation stops here I would hate anyone else to go through what we did at such a vulnerable time in are lives , I complained when I got home and was told pappa Johns was shut for one day implying I'm a liar when I have proof and told I was upgraded so should be happy even though I was upgraded due to there mistake and before I arrived , I have photos and videos and the accomodation was not fit for purpose in the state it was in
Clethorpes…Hell
Booked a silver caravan at Clethorpes Beach, On arrival the caravan had a real bad odour. We informed reception who sent a cleaner which was pointless. Fridge rack was rusty and fridge was dirty. Work tops dirty greasy. Cupboards covered in food waste. Hair and dust over cooker. Shower had hair all over it. Carpet and sofa were disgustingly dirty. We have emailed cleethorpes our complaint backed up by photos as the holiday was also cut short by 1 day due to the condition cleanliness of the caravan. Offered a free upgrade when we next booked. Not a cat in hells chance. Holiday ruined.I asked for head office details yet not supplied.
Dont waste time and money booking here because if you complain it falls on deaf ears. We also spent £20 on cleaning products with a hope the smell went away to no avail
Total disappointment
We’ve been coming here every year, but never again. This year was a complete disappointment. After 5 hours of driving, we arrived at our caravan only to find there were no towels provided. I went to the reception, where I was met with a sour and unfriendly face. I was told that towels are not included for Silver accommodation. Seriously? £550 for 3 nights and no towels provided? After seeing my shocked reaction, the receptionist reluctantly said: “Well, we’ll make an exception and give you some towels.”
For the rest of our stay, every time we entered reception, the staff looked at us as if we had done something terrible to them. It was extremely unpleasant, and we ended up avoiding the reception entirely.
Haven, you have lost your loyal customers. My advice to management: talk to your staff and at least teach them how to smile.
We checked in which was easy and left which was easier very dissatisfied
We checked in which was easy and had to wait a while for rental to be ready , once ready found the caravan to to beautiful spacious but the beds were small we looked around the site sorry but in need of updates when to the main area all the attractions were empty the swimming pools was closed and no help around there is no phone service in most of the site and unsecured Wi-Fi what didn’t like Norton vpn so unable to use app went for a afternoon sleep as it was 4hrs to get here well I use ear plugs and was unable to sleep as the rooms were next to the road and waste bins that kept slamming we had some dinner at the restaurant not good the steak chewy chicken rubbery but peppercorn sauce was nice then the night from hell it felt like I was in tin can all we heard was wind and rain in the bedrooms but not so bad in living area it seemed there was no insulation and most of the sounds were from underneath so we decided it weren’t for us got dressed and left as there was nobody around to speak to
BLUE DOLPHIN TOURING PITCH
TOURING PITCH
When booking we opted for the larger grass serviced pitch. On arrival we found the grass overgrown, had dog shit and fag butts within the area, not a welcoming site.
We had cause to address a couple of folk for letting their dog onto our pitch area and letting their dog foul and not attempting to clean up after them.
The toilets and showers lacked proper maintenance with evidence of broken or missing door locks and coat hangers, also noted were broken and loose floor tiles with all of the forementioned being considered hazardous. While there an adequate number of wash basins and soap dispensers, most of the soap dispensers were empty. Clearly no consideration of any proper maintenance being done, especially for start of the caravan season.
The showers did not have a proper dry area with shower spray extending into area for dressing.
The overall camping / Touring site was considered too large with no proper segregation of tents and caravans which were found to be mixed throughout the site.
While the site map clearly shows a one-way traffic system, it was found that many people on the site were not recognising the one-way system and driving in anyway that pleased them. But for one road sign indicating traffic flow on entering the main camp site, there were no others signs visible at all other route intersections.
Vehicles travelling at speed around the site (cira 20mph+), speed bumps would be recommended to enforce stated speed limit of less than 10mph.
We have visited quite a number of Haven Sites over the past 15 years, most of which like “Primrose Valley” are of a good standard and can say that “Blue Dolphin” is very disappointing and the worst site to experience.
Arrived to a friendly welcome
Arrived to a friendly welcome despite the rain. Nice caravan location in Conifer Court, the pond area in front of the caravan looked neglected i.e weeds and broken paving slabs but nice to see the ducks. The caravan itself was a silver, nice and modern but small for 6 people. Only 4 chairs at the table inside and only 2 chairs outside on the decking!! Would have been useful to have at least 4. Also I was disappointed because there was no dishwasher which was very much needed with 6 people staying. We used the pool but wasn't aware that the outside pool doesn't open until 10am also the amount of balls being thrown around (8 on the last count) by different family groups wasn't enjoyable for the rest of us and basically took over the pool. The slide didn't slide needs recoating so I had to push myself down it. Overall the pool needs some attention and a rethink, we were bored after 20mins and being smack on the head with a ball didn't help! The entertainment was packed no chance of a seat and stuffy no air con. Generally just too many people for the facilities to be enjoyable. I also found it really weird that we had to go through the garden restaurant to access the crazy golf, climbing, football court etc.... felt awkward and not nice for people eating meals. The beach at Hopton and accessed from the Haven site is lovely and sandy not accessible for all though as a slope and steps with no rail so my mum couldn't manage to get to the beach. Some of us did the 3 mile walk to Gorleston by the cliff path but could have also walked it from the beach. We would return but would opt for the hideaway option next time as that would have suited us much better.
An awful discovery by our 10 year old
Blue Dolphin site....This is the 3rd site we've visited and no where near the standards of the other sites. This was a 3 night booking so we just tolerated most of it. Lots of dust in the caravan, remotes for the TV in the bedroom didn't work, neither did the soundbar or the built in speakers. The patio door was really hard to open and close so we couldn't use them. The staff in the arcade were rude. The site is advertised having 5g. In Pine court there was little to no signal. The staff in the arcade were also rude. The worse event happened on the day of leaving....our 10 yr old son was helping us out by checking that we hadn't left anything. Upon checking a cupboard in the main bedroom he discovered a BUTT PLUG AND LUBE. That was a great conversation to be be had when he was asking what it was. How could something like this be missed. Absolutely fuming with the response from the park which was 'sorry, we'll have a word with the staff'. Not enough when we were put in such an awkward situation especially when tolerating all the other misfortune.
